I knew immediately

I knew the job posting (on ZipRecruiter of all places!) was a scam immediately. I referenced working for Thrifty Payless in the 90s, which was bought out by Rite Aid. The upward.net posting stated they had a full time pharmacy tech position with a $700 sign on bonus. BOGUS!

Beware Of Upward.net

I clicked on an IT Help Desk Tech position that came from my job alert from Zip Recruiter. This redirected to a prompt requiring my email address. Then, the next prompt required my cell phone number. The next screen required I upload my resume, but not for the Zip Recruiter posting. I am in the midst of deleting my Zip Recruiter profile. Job seekers need to be aware of the scam coming from Upward.net

This is scam. Check the links on the emails you may receive, you will see that they have weird URL addresses.

False and misleading

False and misleading. Entices you with a position from your Ziprecruiter search and is a well-known local company. The local company's career site doesn't list the position. After you take the bait, they list a bunch of entry-level no skilled labor jobs that don't match your skill set. Scam-detector gives it a 90% favorable rating. I guess scam-detector didn't check out this website.

Possibly Fake Job Alerts

I deleted my ZipRecruiter account out of suspicion that Upward.net blends in and re-publishes ZipRecruiter jobs. Since cancelling I have received a few more ZipRecruiter job alerts which might have been a mimic to lead me to a fake application and steal the sensitive information which goes on a real job application. That may or may not have been the case. As a precaution I did not click anything whatsoever in those job alerts!

Total scam

Total scam, Every "job" they email me about or they have listed is just clickbait forwarded to a paid survey site called "Remotejobsnearme.com" run by Galaxy Line, LLC (The infamous app company) who has numerous complaints to the BBB by people reporting they were scammed in one way or another.

Scam...beware

Scam...not sure how they ended up a job source on my states unemployment site....the jobs are fake...you can never reach a human being....unless you choose the option for employers trying to post a job.
They say they have 50 employees....doubt it....those numbers are impossible...given the reach they claim to have........

Fake BS...

EVERY job they email me is IN THE SAME ZIP CODE. How is that possible?
It isn't. Fake BS. I don't know what their game is, but I'm not clicking on their links and getting caught in some scam.

EVERYONE on here is a fake

EVERYONE on here is a fake. They are anywhere from 800 miles to 4,000 miles. They’re in the Sudan or somewhere else in the world. I would say that I have not found somebody that I felt was real on this website and it pisses me off cause you get a lot of likes there’s nobody you want to go out with 800 miles away

Upward advertising jobs on ZipRecruiter

I clicked on a job posting that is on ZipRecruiter.com, and it took me to what looks like a job application on Upward (a JobCase Company) for an Instructional System Designer III posting. What looked like an application for the posting asked for my email address, then my phone number, and then a page with a few job listing, none of which were for the job listed in the posting. I immediately received a SMS on my phone for another phoney job listing from upward. When you fill out applications, make sure Upward is not listed at the top - SCAM ALERT.

Bait and switch

Every time I get a job that redirects me to upward, I never see the job. All I get is a pop up that then leads me to jobs that I have no interest in and do not pertain to me at all. Bait and switch. Avoid this job posting board.

Waste of time

I somehow inadvertently signed up with Upward in my job search, and then received daily emails from random unnamed "job agents." Most of the postings I was sent were only marginally within the criteria I was looking for. The really frustrating thing is they would say something like, "There's a new posting for Senior Designer with Such-And-Such company in San Francisco, click the link to see the job," and then the link would bring me to the application rather than the job description. I'm not going to just blind-apply to a job without knowing what I'm getting into. It's just silly that they haven't thought this out.

Avoid Upward however possible.

Upward is pathetic

Upward is pathetic. Just as previous reviewers mentioned, you attempt to apply for one job and get immediately booted to another. Truly amazed that companies pay for such inept service.
