Great after sales service

My E bike of less than a year developed a battery issue . Estimation at the bikerepair shop was april €1000 . Unfortunately Upway could not accept the repair , but offered to take it back with full refund for another bike .
The exchange was solved within a week.
Picked- up and delivered at my door .

Good experience

Good experience.
They answer rather quickly. The bikes arrived as in the picture, everything was according to the description.
Most importantly - they arrived undamaged.

Hopefully there will be no issues further and no reason to contact regarding this bestelling.

Overal, pleasant experience and I can recomment it.
Nice to buy almost new bike for much lower price.

Great support afterwards

Great support afterwards. There was a problem caused by the transport, but Upway made sure that the bike got repaired very fast.

Deeply disappointed

First bike didn’t have electric assistance and was broken. I paid 79 euros to return it.
Second bike was labeled on the site at 500 km, turned out to be 2200 km. The extender was not correctly attached and was loose, part missing.
Upway clearly states they check on a whole lot of points, that’s rubbish.
I’m deeply dissapointed.

We have just refunded the €69 return fee you paid for the first bike, in addition to the full refund of your purchase. We are reviewing this internally to ensure it never happens again.

Wouldn't buy again

I don't think I would buy again from Upway. I made an order to buy an electric bicycle and an AXA lock from their website.

First of all, I received the bicycle and the lock 2 different days. Which is not super convenient if you want to use the bicycle the same day as it was delivered.

When it was delivered, the delivery company simply unloaded and left the bicycle which was in a box, in front of the door. When we asked before unloading if they could take it by car, a few meters away to our garage, they didn't reply and they ignored.

While this is the delivery company's fault, I would believe that a big company like Upway would choose better shipping partners.

Additionally, when they sent us the AXA lock, the lock came with only 1 key. On the website it indicated that the lock would come with a set of 2 keys. When I opened a ticket to customer support they told me that it can happen and it is safe. Since I didn't want to risk it, I requested for a replacement. The first time I was ignored, but when I bothered them again, they did accept to send a new one with 2 keys. Apart from that, as they weren't any instructions paper on how to attach the lock to the bicycle, they simply shared some bullet point basic instructions by email.

The second AXA lock I received also is missing some plastic parts but at this point I am not going to bother returning it.

By the way the AXA locks do not come with a setscrew with hollow head so you cannot attach the AXA lock if you don't have those with you on your bicycle.

So basically I wouldn't recommend it for sure.
