Better attention to detail needed during pre-despatch and despatch
Bike is amazing but maybe the speed of despatch meant that some errors were made, for example by not including the fit e-bike card with the bike so I had to find a local dealer to programme the card. Also a pedal stalk fell off the bike after only 100km during a long ride. Waiting for that to be dealt with. Also the time for upway support to respond is very slow when you have issues I don’t think up to 16-24 hours is helpful.
Previous experience of another bike purchase was better.
Overall the bikes are excellent price but attention to detail before and during despatch are needed.

Fantastic
So far, the experience has been amazing. I live in NZ and have purchased a bike that Upway has transferred from Germany to Paris. Plan to sell it back to Upway at the end of our trip. Communication has been flawless and proactive. And lots of helpful information. No request has been a bother. I pick up the bike tomorrow. Will let you know how things go!
Delivery purchase was great
Delivery purchase was great, however 4 months in have had some problems which were not covered by warranty, apparently warranty only covers motor, battery, electrical....the problems I had were as the mechanic who fixed them said due to poor assembly of the bike, loose lock rings poorly aligned breaks all of which was meant to ti be done by upway...the first 2 repairs were only €45 but now i face €200 bill due to the rear wheel shaky not being properly installed

FRAUD or SCAM>?
We bought a bike and they said it wouldn't fit, the size was listed wrong on their web site. That bike disappeared from their site. They then sold us a different bike and it didn't ship. They cannot do a video call. Now the bike will not ship. Why do they take the money and can't show the bike or ship the bike? FRAUD or SCAM?

The brakes should have been changed. In comparaison with a Giant Fathom i also own, the disc brakes of the E+2 explore i purchased are at their threshold limit.
The speeds need adjustment.
The battery charger needs special fitting when battery is dismantled frm bike.

Upway has great customer service and the prices are really good. I got a bike that is basically brand new. It has a few minor scratches here and there, but nothing that I wasn't aware of from the description provided.
My only complaint is, most of the hardware on the bike is on the verge of being stripped. It's as if whoever put the bike together originally wasn't careful or used the wrong size hex wrench to tighten everything. I am afraid I will strip out a bolt while trying to make an adjustment. I bought a bike a few years ago for my wife on Upway and had the same issue with the headset bolt. It kind of bummed me out because the bike is perfect otherwise.

My YT was less than a year old and works perfectly. The MSRP was $8200 and they wanted to give me $3999. Really? I am very well versed in the MTB industry I know my bike’s value is far above that. You are better off selling privately.
