Crouch End
Thank you very much for an excellent job on the flat which we are delighted with and looks superb. In particular the advice and help you provided in choosing the various options was very helpful indeed in getting such a great result.
Really impressed
We used Urban Wardrobes for 2 large wardrobes and a book shelf and were so pleased with the quality and the the professionalism throughout. Dealing with the company was a pleasure - they always did what they said they would - and the men who fit the items kept our flat so neat and tidy. Everything was delivered exactly to spec and on time and we really love all three pieces. We also thought the price was really reasonable compared to a number of other quotes. I would recommend without hesitation.
We love our wardrobes!
We hired Urban Wardrobes for a big project, including large built-in wardrobes in two of our rooms and change of doors on some other existing wardrobes. We went for their "Scandi" style and while their prices are not cheap the finished product is absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny. They invested a lot of time during the planning process to make sure that the designs were perfect for the spaces, and it really shows. The installers were highly skilled and fitted everything beautifully with lots of attention to detail. We had a couple of minor issues with them during the installation process but our sales/design contact was very responsive and made a big effort to resolve everything to our satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend Urban Wardrobes.
Corner wardrobes built London SW4
My whole experience with Urban Wardrobes was extremely positive. From the first home visit, the showroom to technical home visit everyone was professional and helpful to create a wardrobe that not only suited my home but also fit into an awkward shaped corner in my bedroom.
The installation team were polite, friendly and incredibly tidy. No mess was left at all and they were flexible to come earlier so I could leave in time for work
I would highly recommend their services
Fab, fab, fab!
The guys did an absolutely fantastic job with my wardrobe. I'm extremely happy that I've gone with them. Totally worth the wait. Look no further than Urban Wardrobes and don't think twice - just choose them :). You won't regret it.
smooth straightforward quality
Very happy with the quality and finish. Installation took longer than expected due to some technical issues, but they sorted it on their own accord without any problems.
happily to use again and the wardrobes look great.
Quality of service, quality of materials
This was my second built-in wardrobe this year. The first had been with John Lewis Furniture (effectively Hammonds) and was a complete nightmare that led to a large amount of emails and several complaints to both John Lewis and to John Lewis Furniture (I learned they are two different companies, and the latter is effectively Hammonds). In the end, John Lewis (not John Lewis Furniture directly, which were a complete pain) did acknowledge the problems and reimbursed me to a level I accepted.
When I contacted Urban Wardrobes, I had already learnt a lot about wardrobes and materials. I invited them to give me a quote for the second wardrobe, together with a few other selected companies. I included Urban Wardrobes in the short-list because, from their website, they were one of the few companies that seemed to be building to a greater standard and with greater customisation than in my previous experience.
Unlike all other companies I had short-listed for this job, Urban Wardrobes insisted on providing a preliminary ball-park quote ahead of agreeing a visit from the designer. This was the first indication that they were communicating effectively rather than trying to get a contract at any cost.
The designer that visited (Mykhailo) had a lot of materials with him and was very knowledgeable. During his visit, he asked whether I’d be interested about the possibility to use other materials that would match my existing furniture. I was. When I was ready to sign a contract, he insisted on a second visit with more sample materials to ensure I had exactly what I wanted. This was the second indication that they were serious about costumer satisfaction rather than trying to get a contract at any cost. After these two visits, we then had a further visit for detailed measurements.
The team that came to build the wardrobe (led by Antanas) were particularly professional and fully acted as an interested part of the company, rather an uninterested sub-contractor. The quality of the materials was very good, and the wardrobe looked very good.
There were however a few problems that needed fixing, and this took a few more visits. Of course, ideally these problems would not have occurred, but the fact that they occurred led me to being very impressed with how Urban Wardrobes dealt with them: they acted as interested as me in fixing them. So definitively, they care about the quality of the products they install. In the end, I got the wardrobe I wanted, with good quality materials, built to a good standard, and with a good costumer service.
Overall, I am very satisfied and do recommend them highly.
Mixed experience
I recently used Urban Wardrobes. When I met with the rep he suggested that I get coving around the top of the wardrobe so that it looked like part of the room. I went with this idea. On the day the wardrobes were fitted it all went smoothly and I was happy with the quality of the wardrobes. Unfortunately, the coving was very messy. There were large gaps at the joins, screws were sticking out of the coving and the edges were damaged. I contacted Urban Wardrobes and asked them to come back and but they said that I will need to get a builder to finish the job. I got quotes from two builders and they both said that they would have to take the coving down and redo it because it had been fitted so badly. This was obviously at an additional cost.
It was a shame as I would have used Urban Wardrobes again and recommended them to friends, but because of the poor service after I had paid them I will never recommend them.

Reply from Urban Wardrobes
Very helpful and responsive.
Urban Wardrobes responded quickly and efficiently to any quieries I had. I would happy recommend them.
Excellent
Urban Wardrobes did a great job right from the outset. The designer, Jeff, was easy to deal with and came up with a great plan for my small room, my order was processed quickly, the fitters were clean, tidy and worked hard to complete the job, then came back within a week to fix a couple fix a couple of niggles. The final product is great, solid, good quality and looks fabulous. Thoroughly recommend.
Trust your instincts
I was a bit dubious of this company initially, not for their customer service or bespoke comtempory designs, but for the fact that I found them online with no referral, they didn't have a showroom and they needed 90% of the payment upfront before production. So initally I put Urban Wardrobes to one side while I investigated more alternatives. However I couldn't find anyone else who could deliver exactly what I wanted for a similar price. I was relieved when they contacted me after a few months to say they now had a showroom and would I be interested now I could inspect their craft? Trust your instincts with this company, they were great from start to finish - extremely professional and the finish perfection. My new built in wardrobes have changed my life (well in my bedroom storage at least)!

Good job!!
I was quite impressed by the how quick my emails and requests were answered. Very efficient. They have a good choice and quality products. Also very good in communicating. I will definitely use them again.
Superb Service and Quality Product
Mykhailo, Anastas and team were superb from start to finish: I received prompt attention and quick responses throughout.
For the initial consultation Mykhailo arrived on time and took quick measurements, listening to my needs before making recommendations.
The second technical fitting was swift also and they were very accommodating to my requests for changes: obviously having these wardrobes fitted is an investment in time and a fair amount of money and I spent more time thinking about my needs which required adjustments to the spec. In my case I chose additional drawers and shoe shelves, all of which Mykhailo accommodated, re-drew tech drawings, and re-quoted for.
Then the team arrived on the day as expected, removing my old fitted wardrobes without fuss or mess, completing the removal process perfectly. The next day I worked from home and fitting took place with no fuss in one day also (obviously time for fitting depends on the size of your project). The next day when I called to say there were minor snagging issues to fix they came back, no questions asked and fixed outstanding minor items as requested.
The finished product is of superb quality and looks fantastic with a great finish. It looks better than I expected or hoped. Everything closes softly and is damped. You get what you pay for and although not cheap, they certainly aren't the most expensive, and you get a fantastic product and what I consider great value and service.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Urban Wardrobes and wish them all the best.

Would hire them again
Our experience with Urban Wardrobes was overall positive. They gave good advice at the design stage, stayed in touch throughout the project and followed up on their promises. The wardrobe looks great - worth the investment.
Excellent service
Mikhail and the guys were very good at guiding me through things, trying to meet and understand my budget, the finished product is excellent and I am so pleased with the result. Thank you guys.
Great job!
We are very pleased with our new bedroom wardrobes from Urban Wardrobes. The team were friendly and courteous and the work of high quality. A little more expensive than some of the chains but worth it!
Great design and space utilisation
We had a large alcove in our bedroom which we wanted to have made into a fitted wardrobe. Urban Wardrobes sent a designer round to see the space. They listened to our requirements and put together a design which utilised the space fully and was aesthetically exactly what we were looking for - minimalist and modern. The final fitted wardrobe was exactly as expected and we are very, very happy with the finished result. The team were very helpful throughout and although the design process seemed to take some time, in retrospect considering the requirements of the job this was to be expected. The whole process took about 3 months but installation was partly delayed by us and Urban Wardrobes were very flexible, allowing us to delay the installation slightly. Our overall experience was very positive and we would definitely recommend Urban Wardrobes to others.
Attention to detail lacking
I will try to be as constructive with my crititism as possible hope this helps.
Having looked at a number of wardrobe company's I decided to use urban wardrobes and install sliding wardrobes.
The intial phase of agreeing the plans and how the design looks and cost I found a bit tiresome.
the designer kept on agreeing a price then changing the price i assumed he genuinely made a mistake on the costing so I choose to accept his reasoning and decided to go ahead.
Right to the day of installation. 2 installers came to fix my wardrobes they spent 2 days to assemble this , to be fair to them they where polite clean and got on with the job. once the wardrobe finished this is where the problem started, on closer inspection I found the sliders on the bottom where the doors are fixed, had been hammered down with a chisel. I asked the installers why there was a chisel marks on these he proceeded to explain that they are there to stop the doors in the right place ( worst thing is those marks don't even help the door stop !!) These wardrobes cost £6000 and they have gone and wrecked the athesticsof them by hammering chisel marks. I called up to ask the company to rectify this after a few weeks they sent the same installer to polish the marks but unless you replace the sliders I cannot see how this can be fixed. The next day I emailed them a few times again saying the repair wasn't good enough they haven't responded. It's ashame I do really like their designs but if you are happy with lack of attention to detail having spent thousands of pounds then maybe this is for you.
