The Hollywood Hotel LA
The hotel we booked should have been a four star hotel, but to be honest should be knocked down. Don’t get me wrong the pictures we saw looked lovely, but in reality it’s a complete mess.
The company is an absolute waste of space if you are aboard and need help, not willing to help without you paying upfront and as they said hopefully you might get it back.
On returning to the uk we put in a complaint about the hotel hoping they would understand the impact this hotel had on a holiday of a lifetime, but they want to listen about the hotel even though we sent them photos.
Said the could not do anything about the streets outside even though it’s not near any of the places is said.

I have returned from a fabulous holiday to Antigua with a friend and USAirtours couldnt be more helpful from start to finish, any question that I asked was answered immediately i was very at ease throughout my whole experience and am very confident to book through USAirtours again.
The hotel which was recommended to us was incredibly stunning from the food to the room was truly magnificent and would very happily stay again.
USAirtours arranged everything for us from the transfer to the excursions and whilst we were there were very easily contactable baring in mind the time difference.

Taken then to court as 4 of us were going to NewYork 2 csncelled in time , I called and completed the online form you don’t and can’t ( as they will not give it to you ) a copy of it the cancellation contact us form
They didn’t cancel it - won’t supply recorded calls to me either !
Ongoing issues to sort this and then called me lied about reasons I couldn’t stay in my hotel staying homeless took it over
I called hotel as my family on a different booking we’re staying - hotel stated it wasn’t true
Went back to them they wouldn’t cancel or refund us fixating a different hotel we didn’t want ! We had to go the 2 of us but they then only booked 1 room and fail to refund anything , manipulated paperwork to bam boozle you … fact is they lied , didn’t action a cancellation and I was fired to pay for 4 people !! So court it is and they fail to send information requested of reply

Very poor standard of villa
There should be a zero rating. Just returned from holiday in a villa , with no entry, in the very early hours, code did not work on door. No hot water for days , a door frame hanging off, with a shoddy repair and an ant infestation . Lisa seems to be popular, as she replied to me, also, but has now stopped. Aware of door frame damage , absolutely shocking. If my two year old grand daughter had run / slipped/ fallen into it, she could have had serious facial injuries. Now I am having no response to E-mail asking for next step of complaint process. Avoid this company like the plague

Fab holiday experience
Just returned from a dream holiday in New York and Boston booked through my local travel agent. Have no complaints and was kept up to date with everything along the way. Was even upgraded at our hotel in New York as celebrating my 40th birthday and my friends birthday as well. Only downer was the flight delay leaving Heathrow but that was the airlines fault. Looking at booking my friends 40th next year with them.

We have just returned from the most wonderful trip in LA! Everything from start to finish went smoothly.
We flew with Virgin and were able to select the seats as soon as we booked (This is very important to me)
Car hire was great, they had a great selection to pick from at the airport depot.
Hotels, we stayed in 2 hotels, 1 in LA and 1 in Palm springs. Both fitted us perfectly.
Excellent value for money! very pleased customer!
Every member of staff from Usairtour were delightful and would recommend to anyone ! #

Absolutely awful customer service attitude from Lisa
We sent multiple emails and text messages evidencing that the taxi company cancelled our journey from Port Canaveral to Orlando leaving our party of 6 (including two pensioners and two young children) stranded, and causing huge stress at the end of our holiday. Consequently we had to pay out another $300 for our party of 6 to be transferred by another company. Lisa claims that as we couldn't prove we didn't receive a new taxi voucher, we are not eligible to receive the $320 discount on the original transfer which was cancelled. Yes re-read... that Lisa refused to refund the taxi that was cancelled because we couldn't prove they provided us with a new voucher for a new taxi. The tone of the emails were unnecessarily clipped and illogical. We still want the $320 refunded as we have proved beyond all doubt that they cancelled the taxi meaning we had to arrange another. Our holiday in total cost nearly £28,000. We only asked for a refund for the taxi. You'd think that in the scheme of the investment there would be a logical thought process -these are reasonable people - they had to source another taxi because we cancelled theirs - they were at sea so couldn't possibly have seen we arranged another taxi after cancelling the first - we can't prove they receive a voucher - we need to do the right thing and refund the £320. .... The most ridiculous illogical emails and a terrible shame to have left such a bitter taste and source of stress to the end of a big family holiday. Will NEVER booked with USAirtours again.

We booked a dream holiday to Florida…
We booked a dream holiday to Florida via Newark airport. When we arrived at Newark only some of our party had tickets to travel on, children and assisted passage. We had no seats despite confirmed tickets. Many hours of arguing and difficulties saw about half our party travel the other stranded in New York. Arguing for a hotel, food and onward tickets. Eventually we arrived over 38 hours late. Our hotel on the Miami Beach some how got switched to a motel away from the beach. Three days before returning our flight was cancelled, all sorts of chaos to sort out other flights. We went to the airport and had to pay extra for luggage already paid for. We boarded then sat on the taxi way for hours before returning as flight cancelled. More hours arguing to get an overnight hotel, more extra costs to us. Next day we travel to Newark and guess what, despite very clear assurances only a few have flights home despite having tickets. Hours waiting and eventually travel home on different flights over a day late. Since returning we have been trying to get the extra costs for luggage, taxis, and costs related to the delays. They just say we should have rung them and it’s not their problem. Ruined holiday, extra costs to us and a blank wall. Things go wrong but the difference is what happens next. If you want to avoid having your dream holiday ruined, be out of pocket and just get the run around book elsewhere. Plenty of other operators, this one should not be in business. They will not even cover extra costs for luggage that we had already paid for and will not engage with the ABTA complaints process. The overall rating says it all, avoid.

Do not use Shocking . Our flight was cancelled going out from heathrow after 6 hours waiting to board was told we would receive 600 euros each compensation . Still waiting . Our agent has escalated the claim to the highest manager and still no response. Disgusting how quick we have to.pay these airlines. I would like to be contacted there are no telephone number you can ring. We work hard to save for a holiday and feel robbed . Booking Ref 455448

Never again
We booked a USA holiday with this company through our independent travel agent pre-pandemic and were supposed to travel in July/August 2020. We eventually managed to go in 2022. The hotel in New York was basic and not in a good area but apparently 4 stars. I had expected more for what I’d paid.
We then travelled to Florida. Our flight from JFK to Miami was delayed by 5 hours without any communication. Talking to other passengers we discovered they had been told to get to the airport later.
When we finally arrived at our condo we were told our booking had been cancelled in March! To say that was a shock was an understatement! The girl at reception thankfully managed to sort it and found us an apartment. Our paperwork stated that breakfast was included. When I asked about that I was told they didn’t offer breakfast since the pandemic and I could get a refund for that when I’m back home. Ever since then I’ve been communicating with USAirtours. First they offered us a ridiculous amount which did in no way reflect our extra spending. I then asked for an amount that reflects our spending better and now after 6 months they’ve told us we’re not getting anything back. The operations manager we have been dealing with has in no way been helpful or approachable. My travel documents state clearly ‘breakfast included’ and she then said it was complimentary. I disagree and having to buy breakfast for a family of 5 when you’re not expecting it made our holiday tricky financially. Their attitude is in no way customer orientated and I will never book through them again.

Think carefully before you book with this company
This review is really late as we never received a response from US airtours via our travel agent and I’ve now waited over 6 months. I assume they are not bothering to compensate us or even try to respond .
It comes as no surprise given the way we were treated by them as customers .
I should add our travel agent endeavoured to be helpful and fair to us but I do not feel that US Airtours were.
We travelled to Orlando July 2022 as a present for our son and his young family to celebrate his 40 th birthday.
I booked the holiday to Orlando a year before we travelled via a travel agent I had previously used for other long haul destinations. I chose to do this because of the Covid situation in case things changed.
The agent said she had used US Airtours for years so we assumed it would all be ok.
Firstly, I had to chase to get any information as I was getting concerned the nearer we got to the date of travel ( our travel docs had to be delivered by hand to our home as they arrived with our agent so close to our departure date).
As we were planning our itineraries for the trip, I decided to check out reviews for the accommodation we were booked into.They were absolutely dire.
I contacted our travel agent and she totally agreed that we couldn’t possibly go to that property . She worked hard to find alternatives via US Airtours who offered us accommodations with camp beds in the lounge that we needed to pay even more money for. Bearing in mind this was 2 weeks before we flew and we had paid in full ( 10k plus) I wasn’t happy. We eventually ended up having to pay a considerable amount more to get decent accommodation .
US Airtours refused to assist with the cost and our travel agent gave us a small discount.
I had kept asking for directions to the property right up to our departure day- they never came - and nor did the kids eat free vouchers that were allegedly part of the holiday package. They arrived whist we were away but we were unable to down load them. So we never saved the money on the kids meals we had hoped for.
We flew premium economy Virgin which was great both ways.
We arrived at Orlando to find that the 12 seater van US Airtours insisted we booked when we chose the holiday, did not exist .
The car rental company said they never had had 12 seater vehicles and our booking didn’t appear to be clear. It took nearly an hour to sort a vehicle for us.
The staff were rude and unhelpful and it’s the very worst experience we have had in Orlando airport - having been teens of times before.
After a long flight with a 5 year old and a three year old, and a lot of bags plus kids car seats, we were eventually sent to a garage right on the other side of the terminal . We had to go up three floors , walk hundreds of yards and then down three floors to find it in the pouring rain.
We got to the garage and they offered us a 6 seater that had a bash on every corner - and that was it. Fortunately we’d taken our own kids seats.
With no sat nav and no directions we spent the next hour and a half driving round Orlando late into the night trying to find the property and following directions from shops and the property reception staff navigating us in eventually.
The staff at the property reception were great and the accommodation was lovely .
On our return we contacted our travel agent to ask for a refund towards the car as we didn’t get what we had paid for. A considerable effort by the owner of the travel agent resulted in nothing from US Airtours and the travel agent made a good will gesture themselves of the difference between what car we had ordered and paid for , and what we got. They even calculated the exchange rate at the time we paid so we weren’t out of pocket.
I’ve had no apology or anything from US Airtours and would caution anyone about booking with them even via a travel agent .
They rinsed us for more money at the last minute even though they had all our deposit and all our payment in full for a considerable period, and were prepared to send us to accommodation with photo reviews of mould, dirty linen , broken doors and piled up trash . Sure , they eventually found us more accommodation but we had to pay a lot more. And they were not interested that they had cheated us on the rental car .
We’ve been visiting Orlando for 35 years and we’ve never experienced this , probably because we never used US Airtours . We certainly would never use them again.

For the record , we have had no response from you directly (other than in response to this review) or via our travel agent ,and we have not received a penny of any refund from you either . As you arranged the holiday you must have all my personal details ( and those of my travel agent to make contact. Don’t book with these
Don’t book with these. Three times my hotel has been changed. With it taking a month for them to even communicate the change which is too late for me to make arrangements to go. I don’t want to go the third hotel and there are no seats left on the plane for us to sit together as a family for nine hours. I asked to move the holiday they won’t. They say it’s in their terms that they can change the hotels which they do not share with you at time of booking
The second hotel was delayed opening the first closed for refurb which they knew about and still let people book
