I requested an annual service for my heat pump and a convenient time was agreed.
The engineer arrived on time and was both knowledgeable and communicative.
Would recommend both the engineer and the company

Use the Sun installed my heat pump 7 years ago and was the best decision I made. This family run company is lovely as are all the staff. Yesterday Martin did my annual service once again. The service has usually been done by him or James are are excellent friendly engineers.
My only worry is the high cost for the service but I don’t want to risk problems.

This review is for the servicing of our air source heat pump system:
Use the Sun installed our system nearly fours years ago (December 2021) and we have been very fortunate that we have been allocated James as our engineer for each annual service visit. He is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We are always confident that he will ensure that our system is running at an optimum level. We could not be happier with the service that James provides.

This is a follow-up review for post sales/servicing.
I've just had my heat pump serviced. First element was booking the service, which was easy and the administrators very flexible. They kept good contact and know what they're doing. They offered to service the unit next day! I guess they had a cancellation, unfortunately I couldn't react that quick. A date was set which accommodated both our schedules.
I'd been in contact with engineer as well. Making the the whole process seamless. This was necessary as my exchange unit outside had a missing condensation kit (I've no idea why), which should have been installed from the beginning. The exchange unit sits on my patio, it produces a lot of condensation (H²O), which froze in winter. Causing an ice skating rink in my back garden.
The engineer turned up on time, and with the condensation kit. He's a likeable chap with years of experience in heating. He fitted the kit and did the service with minimal interaction from me. Always took his shoes off when popping in and out (which must have been uncomfortable up in the loft).
He was all finished after an hour or so, gave me some good advice on connecting the outflow for the condensation and was on his way.
Overall, a painless easy experience carried out by seasoned professionals, what more could you ask for?

Use the Sun installed our heat pump in 2021. The experience was OK (4 star), but I have noticed since that the personnel have changed, and it's become better and fully professional.I would now give the full 5 stars.

I was in the market for both Solar and Heat pump installation. I had several quotes from the bigger suppliers without a single home survey. This company were recommended to be by my Electrician. He had been on site at the same time as Use the sun and was impressed by the quality of their work. From initial phone call to final installation, I have been impressed. I was offered lots of advice and guidance, but never felt that I was being pushed into buying something I never needed. The Horizontal cylinder in the loft and the associated pipe work is first class. The solar was up and working same day and I am glad I went with their advice for a bigger battery.

Do you want to upset your neighbours? Perhaps you don,t get on with them! If thats the case,then these cowboys will do a cracking job for you! They were working at next doors property,and blocked my drive. When asked to move it, i got a load of verbal.They threw rubbish in my garden,and were spitting all the time.Disgusting.I could go on,but i would be here all night

This post was originally a 1* due to a driver but since this review the business has got in contact with me within minutes of opening. The matter got dealt with within one phone call and the lady was very lovely and professional. The complain was taken very seriously to and they dealt with it quickly. I can’t comment on the work they offer but as a business they seem brilliant.

From enquiry to completion, my solar system was installed in a most efficient, professional and knowledgable way in under 2 weeks! Lauren & Keeleigh in the office were most helpful and efficient and the installers, Andy and Scott were tidy, fast and very careful to hide cables and take care with our property. The scaffolders were also fast. careful and professional. Price was very competitive and the system is already showing self sufficiency and even exporting back to grid. I have no hesitation recommending this company.

Great service & competitive price. I have had solar panels installed at my home and then my office with UTS. A lot of companies are good at selling the system to you...but the after sales is also very important. UTS have great after sales. Had an issue with the app. Keeleigh from UTS Customer support dealt with the issue immediately and sorted everything out. So I would definitely recommend Use The Sun.

I spoke to Lucy about a problem I had as I had received a request from my FIT provider for a Schematic diagram of my Solar Installation. The original Installer had not provided me with a schematic drawing of the system and had ceased trading. I contacted Use the Sun as they had carried out remedial works for my insurer. Lucy was extremely helpful and went to trouble to sort out my issue.
