Our Solar Panel providers (Evergen Solar) employed "Use the Sun" to instal our panels. Keith (from the Doncaster branch) carried out a detailed survey of our house prior to the scaffolding being erected. Josh and Keith arrived on time on the day agreed and carried out the installation very efficiently. They were both very courteous and completed the work without problems. Josh guided us through the system controls and monitoring application expertly and with care. They could not have been better!

The engineer did really well serviced the air source pump not just a quick clean of some filters but also went through settings that had been used when first installed 6 years ago after he'd been the pump worked alot better and more efficiently sorted out a hot water issue a very good job done

Super service, the plague has obviously passed! We just had our solar panels fitted and the installation couldn't have gone more smoothly. Nice guys, arrived on time, panels boxes and battery where we wanted them. Neat cabling etc. Swept up all debris. Many thanks.

From initial contact with Eddie offering advice based on years of experience, to Keeleigh & Lauren facilitating a very pleasant visit by Lee to survey and offer further advice, to finally Andy & Scott professionally installing a perfect system explaining everything along the way.
All this in a timeframe that suited us, this is customer focus & service at the very highest levels. All coupled with very competitive pricing.
Followed up by Keeleigh calling post-installation checking everything is ok and we're satisfied, of course we are!

I used this Company in 2017 as probably one of their first Heatpump installs. They didn't instruct me how to Claim RHI Grant so I lost that. Put it down to experience. They fitted a Heatmiser control that you have to be a Genius to use. I have to constantly contact them if I want alter the settings when they should have offered an alternative controller. As it Is more important now than ever with rising Energy costs I asked for a call back on 14/10/24. No contact.
Phoned yesterday 05/02/25 No call back so I can get my heating on.
Phoned and left a message on their Website still no response and now they've gone home and it's -3° outside.

I used Use the Sun a few years ago and to fair was very disappointed. Saying that I have used them end of last year and I got to say they were absolutely brilliant. Never have I encountered such a turn around in a company. From reception staff, accounts department and the installers. Nothing now could be improved. JUST FANTASTIC. Thank you all so much.

I was inadvertently put in contact with this company when I developed a fault with my existing solar system. Despite geographical barriers (I’m in Bristol, they’re in Essex) they tried to help me to resolve the problem. Keeleigh was extremely helpful and asked good questions to understand the issue and gave sensible advice regarding next steps. We ended up needing a visit from a local business but on the basis of the service I received I would highly recommend Use The Sun.

Use the Sun installed a battery system for us, through the HIES scheme, when our original contractor went out of business. The installation was efficient and an initial issue was fixed promptly. The system works very well. We were very impressed by the excellent customer service.

The staff have always been courteous and helpful.
The job was done without any fuss.
Although the fault proved to be a bit difficult to correct
it was eventually sorted out.

From the staff member taking my call and understanding my problem, to then arranging for an engineer to attend when best suited me. The Engineer kindly got the system up and running for me and explained what went wrong and if it was to happen again how to sort it. All the staff where kind a polite and I could not asked for more

Use the sun was recommended to me by a friend. The staff were so knowledgeable and helped me out of a sticky situation. The guys that came to my house were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They managed to sort out my problem in one visit. In the future I will definitely use them again. Totally recommend them.

I have been badly let down by you with a system not fit for purpose which you are fully aware of as you have handed over to your insurance company and MCS are having to sort our system at great expense.
You do not have any right to then mention my name on someone else’s review on Trustpilot. How dare you? I have taken screenshots.

Ellis was very good he obviously knows his stuff and did an excellent tidy job. He was very polite and kept me informed about what he was doing. He asked me about the route he was suggesting taking with the New Cable. to make sure I was happy with it before he proceeded.

First class work.

We have just had a 17 panel solar system fitted with a 10.36Kwh battery system. The whole process has been totally amazing. The office team and fitters have organised everything so well and it only took a day. We are now producing our own electricity and exporting to the grid. We were rather apprehensive about going ahead with this technology but I can totally recommend both the technology and Use The Sun who have been faultless. The wiring of the system has been done sympathetically. I can highly recommend them. We are now going to ahead with the air source heat pump which they will also fit for us. Thank you team

Contracted with UTS for an ASHP, from survey to install the process was smooth. Everyone from the surveyor to the fitters arrived when they said they would, the fitters worked non stop in 25° heat! Lovely neat job, I'm well impressed.
