I had posted a comment on one of Utans post asking people if their Jamie Genivieve tanning water didn’t work for them, as mine didn’t change the colour of my face. Straight away Utan assured me that this didn’t sound right and told me they’d send me a replacement bottle (even though I let them know I had nearly finished it) they were so kind, quick responding and helpful! It really made such a difference! I’d never experienced customer service like it! Honestly the best customer service I’ve ever received! Thank you so much Utan. And I can’t wait to try the 50% darker and love it! ❤️
I can't comment on the product as it is a gift - but I had to review to highlight the great customer service I received. Having ordered the incorrect product (all my mistake) I emailed to ask for them to make the change, despite it being late in the day and on a next-day delivery. I also messaged on Instagram, and received a prompt reply to let me know they were looking into it. An hour later I got confirmation that they had managed to change it despite it having been packed, and it arrived the next day. Many thanks to Adia from CS who I was in contact with - it saved me a lot of time and effort in having to change the product afterwards!
I felt so satisfied and accommodated. I don't need to ask all of the question, just one question and all the solutions on relevant situation will be answered. Perfect customer service!!!
Got the new smelling mousse bergamot and so impressed with the smell. Arrived quickly and the only disappointment was that it didn’t arrive in the usual branded box, however, utan advised that the plain self seal box is only temporary and that my next order will be in the branded box along with advising me to join the loyalty programme so I can save a little
I ordered the cherry almond turbo mousse which arrived promptly. I got great results however I struggled with the bottle. The bottle appeared full but it was very difficult to retrieve any product from the bottle using the pump and it was leaking.
I emailed the customer care team to describe the issue, who requested that I send a video of the problem, which I did. The emails went back and forth and eventually (after suggesting that I was the issue for shaking the bottle - which I only did in the video AFTER I tried to dispense it to demonstrate there was still plenty of product inside) utan accepted that the bottle had a faulty pump and agreed to send out a new pump. This was promised on 7/9/20, it’s now 29/9/20 and I have yet to receive a replacement pump.
What became very annoying was that the emails from the utan customer care team were laced with patronising suggestions that I really should have reported the issue sooner. ‘Can you please advise when did you notice this issue from when it was delivered? As per our website terms and conditions if the item is damaged or faulty in any way it has to be reported to us within a reasonable time scale.’ and ‘We strongly advise to contact us immediately if this there’s an issue with the bottle product in the future.’ are direct quotes from emails I received from utan. Regardless of when I reported the issue (which really wasn’t that long after I received the product), the product wasn’t fit for use, and a quick google search of consumer rights states that for a faulty product you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days or a repair or replacement after 30 days.
This has been extremely disappointing as I love the products and I would continue to buy from utan had this been resolved in a professional manner. I use the utan face mist every day and have done for a while, but I will look elsewhere for a similar product now. I have actually just opened a face mist which I (typically) am having a similar problem with but this experience with utan customer care has put me off seeking any help or assistance from them again, hence my review as I would always rather give a company the opportunity to resolve things.
I would not recommend buying from utan - if your product works then great but if not, you may be left out of pocket with products that can’t be used and little help from utan.
Update: I have changed my rating to reflect the communication I have had from utan following this review. Olivia from the customer care team was excellent and arranged a full replacement of my order which was more than was expected and I was very grateful for. She also clarified that faulty products can indeed be reported at any point and will be rectified with a small number of understandable exceptions. This response was much more in keeping with what I had initially hoped for when emailing utan. Thank you Olivia!

Wouldn’t recommend. Got the cherry almond tan and the Jamie Genevieve tanning water. The tanning water was great but the cherry almond tan stained my dress and my bedding even after it had been washed off, then even stained my boyfriends bedding by which point I’d had 3 showers since applying it! Contacted utan and they were unhelpful basically accusing me of lying as they claim they’ve had no other issues with the tan. I then got back in touch to inform them that when I changed my bedding my pillow was also ruined as it had even gone through the pillow case to the pillow. Received no response. Awful customer service, accuse you of lying then ignore. Why would I lie! It’s such a shame as I liked the face mist but won’t be purchasing from this company again. Would rather take my money elsewhere. Further to this, they have reported my review and tried to have it taken down saying I’m not a genuine customer!!! Sent evidence to trust pilot which proves I am. So called a liar twice now.

I ordered the extra dark tanning mist with the tanning milk (the set) only recieved part of my order, I contacted Utah and heard back from them very quickly and the matter was resolved with a lovely email. Excellent customer service, and gorgeous products that work!
I pre ordered a tanning water a few weeks ago however I didn’t receive a confirmation but the money had been taken, so I contacted the customer support team and they were so helpful, it turned out there was a problem with worldpay and the order
information had not been sent over. I sent them the appropriate information regarding my details and Imthey resolved the issue and dispatched the product asap.
The Utan X Jamie tanning water is brilliant. Smells great, gives a lovely colour and is so easy to use. I ordered two but my delivery only contained one bottle. Customer service were excellent and soon had it sorted out!

Absolutely love my facial tanning water (Jamie Genevieve collab) and had to restock as soon as more was available. Delivered to Germany fairly quickly and very nicely packaged. Gives a lovely tan that means no makeup is needed.

Utan's customer service is great. I had an issue with a delay in shipping and contacted them. They were willing to send me a replacement even though the shipping delay wasn't their fault. They made me feel like I was a valued customer and it was clear that they really wanted me to receive the products that I purchased.
Additionally, I love the tanning products. I got the utan x Jamie Tanning Water Dark and the utan Cherry Almond Turbo Mousse. They give me a natural looking tan that is dark and noticeable but not fake-looking! I feel like these products have given me a boost of confidence. I really really love them!
I've repurchased this facial mist around 6 times now since I first tried it. I don't ever let it run out before I repurchase it again because I honestly can't live without it! It gives you the most beautiful glow to wake up to and has made me much more confident in my skin. The scent is so calming and lovely too doesn't have a hint of that "fake tan smell" at all. Its not patchy in the slightest either just seems to settle beautifully on your skin. I've tried both the original and the 50% darker and love them both. The 50% darker isn't majorly dark so don't be scared of it just gives you a slightly deeper colour. I really hope this stays on the market forever because I honestly can't live without it! Have recommended it to so many of my friends and they all love it too. Amazing product!
I recently made an order from utan which essentially got lost in the post in Ireland (no fault of utan just the courier over here). They were so sympathetic and helpful when I emailed to see if there was anything they could do. I really got the sense that I was communicating with someone like minded and I was really impressed that they cared about my issue even though it wasn’t their fault, and they kept in contact with me throughout and asked for my updates. The product got returned to them and they sent it back to me right away. It was exactly the kind of experience I would want to give in my own job, and I will definitely order from utan again as a result.
I’m using the Enhanced Tan Gummies for a month now and the first 2 weeks I already saw a little glow on my skin. This past week I saw the fantastic effect of this because I sunbathed for an hour everyday and didn’t get red as before. Of course I’m not dark tanned because my skin in fair light but I see the gold glow and my legs are so beautiful. I tried to take fotos to post but doesn’t show very well the colour. Other thing I like so much is the tasty. Highly recommend.
