Where’s the clay?
Hello, I ordered 60 bags of clay last Thursday. I was expecting the delivery to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. On Monday morning I was told the clay wouldn’t arrive anytime before Friday. That is 7 working days, on the invoice it says it would take 4 working days.
We run a community pottery and we are almost out of clay. You can understand that a pottery without clay it doesn’t work.
Anyway we love your clay, how it’s fairly priced and how helpful your technician is.

Hi Rosa, thanks for your review, I've just looked into this and can see you ordered just before 3pm on Thursday 26th Sept, it was processed on our system the following day 27th and booked in for delivery on the 4th October via economy delivery, which is 5 working days (stated on invoices)
The first working day was the 27th (the day after ordering as the order was after 1pm) and we don't class the weekends as working days. With this particular order it looks like it was delivered on the 6th working day, one day after the estimate, which could be down to numerous factors. Being a palletised delivery, we have to call you to book in and this sometimes isn't a quick process getting hold of customers which is why the delivery turnarounds for anything over 75kg is always an estimate and not a guarantee. I can't say if this is the case for this time and why we didn't contact you on the Friday to book in, but if you can try and give a couple of extra days for anything over 75kg just in case we cant get hold of you at all.
Without this part in the process, we cant action a palletised delivery further unless we confirm with customers that you will be in to accept the pallets on the date of delivery. This is an unavoidable part of the process unfortunately when shipping weighted goods. To speed up orders, you can opt for premium shipping, but this does come at an increased cost unfortunately.
However, we agree a pottery without clay doesn't work and the reason why we ship as quickly as possible. Please accept our apologies we didn't deliver to you as expected but hope this clears up our processes for future deliveries.
