Poor soil quality with large stones
Poor soil quality with large stones, plastics and with large amounts of clay. So much clay that the soil is not free draining used the soil for plants but plants started to die removed plants from soil and plants recovered.

Quality good so came back for another bag!
We have now had two bags of topsoil With manure delivered. The quality is brilliant, dark and well mixed.
We ordered the first bag by phone and the delivery charge was £30, the second ordered online was only £15!??? Still very happy with product.

Topsoil for planters
I ordered the topsoil to fill some large planters as was told by customers services that it is suitable for this purpose. The topsoil is quite stony, and doesn't seem to have a great deal of organic content. Also I did not get told a delivery date so the lorry turned up unexpectedly, which could have been a problem.

Can only give 4 stars as was not provided a tracking number and was left a little in limbo on it’s arrival.
Delivery driver very good and understanding and all completed with no further hitches

Awful Valley Contractors
Ordered large bag of soil, delivered small bag without notification or reason. Refused to take back the pallet that the bag was delivered on. Customer service slammed the phone down on me when I calle

Hi sorry for your experience however we did not deliver a smaller bag than previous times, we cannot collect the pallets that the bags are delivered on and we definitely would not have slam the phone down on you as we are a family run business.
