Lovely compost and top soil mixed, I’m sure my plants will thrive in it. Only negative waited in all day on delivery date and it came the following day. A nice lady from Valley rang and apologised for the delay.

I have received 3 deliveries of top soil from Valley Contractors. The soil is good quality and has been delivered on time. Also, the delivery driver from Allelys Transport was friendly and very helpful with all 3 deliveries. Thank you.

I ordered a lawn topper soil and after spreading on my lawn discovered after rainfall that the soils contains large amounts of stones plastic and even glass. I am very disappointed with the quality. My grass seed is struggling to grow and I am continually picking out the stones and plastic.

The delivery had to be slightly delayed due to bank holiday week but it arrived on time the day they told it was going to be. Topsoil is good quality, so far so good. Communication was good both via email and phone. I'd buy again.

No point choosing delivery day, as they deliver when they want. Turf not brilliant.☹️

Ordered a small package of worm casts to test benefits for myself. Haven't actually got round to using it yet, but can say that the package arrived safely and on date specified. Best price I could find too.

I ordered a 850kg bulk bag of plum slate from Valley.

I had a slight problem with their website saying the transaction had not gone through, so ended up being charged twice. Contacted Valley on WhatsApp (on Friday evening) and got a response very quickly to say the issue would be looked into. The order was then confirmed and the additional payment refunded over the weekend.

Delivery was by Palletways. We ended up having to reschedule this for the following day because our delivery was fairly late on their timetable and they were very pleasant to deal with, offering an 8-10am delivery window and it arrived on time.

I’ve bought carrot soil but not unpacked it yet. Delivery by Palletways was not as good as 1st driver who reversed down my drive. This driver said he couldn’t get the vehicle down the drive. Then decided it was safer to reverse rather than. Leave it on the main road. He nearly took my gate out so I had to tell him to stop just inside the gate and leave it there leaving me to have to narrow the 750kg of soil 500m to the bottom of my drive. Not ideal and not like the previous driver. So not great delivery

Excellent delivery with driver able to use trolley to get half bag to my side gate. This allowed me close access to back garden.

Fantastic customer service. I ordered topsoil and later realised I would be out on the day of delivery. I emailed at 11pm asking if this would be a problem and was amazed to get an immediate response at that time of night!
