Superior service

purchased a Renault master window for a short wheel base low roof van
it stated in their description that it would be slightly over sized but it did not state it was for a high roof van so I purchased it and it wouldn't fit I asked if they could provide the correct size and they couldn't and they said if I wanted to send back it would be my problem to pay postage and that a certain percentage would be taken off the amount I paid for it this has been a crap service considering this is my family car and this is all they offer maybe had more to your description wouldn't use this company again

We do apologise you feel this way.
I can confirm that these windows will fit the standard roof however as stated in our product description and window page "These windows are oversized and cover the whole panel, not just the recessed area." This was advised to yourself through your support ticket with our customer service team.
As the window is fit for purpose, the sizing is just not to your liking, the return is deemed as an unwanted product. As per our terms and conditions a 15% restocking fee is added to the return due to this. "5.3.3.1 Unwanted goods can be returned within 30 days from date of delivery. Goods returned within 14 days of delivery date can be refunded or credited. Goods returned after 14 days of delivery date will be issued with a credit note only. A restocking fee of 15% will apply to all unwanted goods that are returned to us."

Great windows, shame about the hole.
Thank you for your response. Please can you send me a new one. Please can you check its not also got a hole? Also any tips on removing the old one? Something to counter the bonding?

Ordered windows for back of Citroën Relay and both sides. The drivers side window has an opener. I'd read after purchase some comments about leaks. Fitted mine Saturday and noticed a small hole in bottom of external opener frame.
I messaged Van Pimps, and sent photos. They said it will be fine, suggested belt and braces I fill the hole with bonding. Which I've now done. The windows look great and were a perfect fit. Due to cost you'd have expected no holes, and a better response.

Thank you for your feedback. I have looked into this and can see you had emailed our customer support team on the 14th of April regarding a small hole in the exterior of your window. You had asked if this would cause an issue and supplied images. Our team had replied on Monday the 15th of April to say there should be no issue with this however a small bead of bond could be applied to be sure. We advise this first as removing a fitted window to be replaced can be a lot of work however, if you would have preferred a replacement window to be sent out we can do this for yourself.

Great windows, great company
I bought 4 windows from van pimps and I’ve fitted two so far. What can I say the windows do what windows do and the quality is great. The bonding kit that comes with the windows too is all that you need.

Great aftermarket rear high level smoke brake lights. Easy to fit and worked with just plug and play. A definite improvement to my old red plastic lights and really makes the rear of my black transit custom look more slick.

MUST DO BETTER !
Spent £230 ordering items from them fine no problem they took my money quite efficiently ....looking for a item they dont list but should 100% have (second window driver side curtains) so far made 7 calls been promised and been waiting for a call back for 2 days no answers to emails .
Receptionist said today she has 45 call backs to make and made it sound like that was some how my fault ....Three times ordering the same items ( curtains) since 2017 they have yet to get an order correct , honestly there has to be better companys out thre to deal with find one it will be worth it in the long run.

IT'S ALL MY FAULT APPARENTLY!
First you sent me and damaged window, you did exchange it. so whats my problem? they are the wrong windows which is my fault apparently. Then you respond to my google feed back looking like you going to put things right, to then tell me on the phone its all my fault and you won't replace the wrong windows you sent me, even after I offer to pay any cost.

We do apologise you feel this way. I have looked into this and can see your original order was placed on the 23rd October 2023. This was delivered to yourself on the 25th October 2023. You had then contacted us on the 1st November 2023 to advise of the broken window. This was set up to be replaced and the replacement window was received 7th November 2023.
You had then contacted us March 2024 regarding a new issue with these windows. As you had said we had sent the incorrect windows in your review, you were asked to send in images of the yellow labels on the windows received. This was looked into and you had been sent the correct windows to what was ordered by yourself. Unfortunately if these were incorrect for your van it is down to yourself ordering the incorrect window. We do ask customers to check their orders within two days of receiving them to ensure there are no brakes or issues. Customers are also given a 30 day return period from receiving their items to return them. Due to the time passed, as per our terms and conditions, you were out of our returns period.
We do apologise for any inconvenience.
