Sandra was great. But I’ve cancelled my classes. Please refund what you just charged me.
I had a mistake and request info re tutoring, then I find a better tutor for my son and indicated Varsity I am no longer looking for tutoring, Jaime from Varsity on purpose keep calling very late in the night, early in the morning, during day, they are desperate calling too many times when I have clearly indicated via phone and in writing I don't need their services. I had reported this call as scam, I do not recommend this company for this lack of respect.

Very experienced Tutors, quick and easy to get help. Customer service representatives are very helpful and easy to reach. Platform feels very reliable.
Between canceled classes and not being rescheduled tutors not showing up and the amount of money you spend not worth it

Dylan is a very nice tutor. He let me think through the problems and gave me good points to work on going forward.
The instructor maintains an appropriate pace, provides clear explanations, and actively engages me in conversation throughout the lesson as we work through the material.
I couldn't be happier with the tutor they setup for my daughter who was taking the pharmacy technician certification. Her tutor,Seth Austen was amazing. He was not only able to tutor her but gave her confidence that she has not had in the past with teachers. She has struggled with low confidence and I was amazed at the transformation I saw in my daughter who took her test last Friday and passed. He was amazing and worth every penny and for the first time I feel like my daughter really has gained lifelong confidence.
She was very helpful with explaining things to me. Review the information on topics that I didn't understand 🙃
Just having the opportunity to learn and have the slow take our time with everything and go to a pace that fits and get confidence in ourselves and around uncomfortable situations to communicate and make anything impossible to possible
My tutor is knowledgeable in the areas I need to teach me how to write my dissertation. She is empathetic and flexible with scheduling. Varsity Tutor made an excellent match for my needs and my tutor’s knowledge.
My tutor Heather was beyond amazing and was a significant help in me passing my NCLEX. she was a god send and words can't express how grateful I am for her.
Larry is a great tutor!!! He has a way of explaining things so anyone would understand!!
On time starts, and well prepared lesson. Detail explanation of material to student. Good engagement with the student.
I signed up for this for information to find a stats tutor in my area and quickly decided I would not be using them because they immediately started spam calling not only me (and way too early in the day for my schedule, as well as from different numbers so they can’t actually be successfully blocked) but also spam calling members of my family on the other side of the country —and I don’t even know how they got their phone numbers. So, if you want incessant spam calls to you and to people who didn’t even give their numbers to this business then go ahead—but to me that’s a huge red flag and absolutely unacceptable. Absolutely will not be using their services—I’ll just have to continuously block their many numbers that they call from unfortunately.

My tutor was great. He was very knowledgeable, patient and very willing to answer my questions without making me feel awkward. He is very professional and personable as well as being very encouraging.
My daughter loves her teacher Ms Lei and looks forward each week to learn more Mandarin from her!
The corporate entity behind Varsity Tutors is a predatory money-making machine. They hardly seem like folks to trust your childrens education with. After two years of loyalty, I purchased 16 hours last September for my child’s winter exams, having been assured by agents that hours do not expire (via Bright Horizons). I logged in this January to find every single hour gone.
Zero email notifications. Zero warnings. They simply wiped my account and claimed a "90-day expiration policy" that was never communicated. I navigated a maze of "escalated" cases that were closed without a word. When I finally spoke to a manager, Sajatha M, it was like talking to a low-grade, scripted AI. She offered zero empathy and zero solutions, essentially telling me my money was gone and I’d have to pay again if I wanted my child to have a tutor for exams. They are holding my child’s education hostage for a double-payment. Never again.

Jake is just an awesome individual to work with. He is so patient and understanding.HE HAS A VAST WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE.
I started tutoring services for my son back in November/December . He really liked the tutor he was matched with, and we were happy with the quality of the sessions themselves. Unfortunately, the communication and scheduling were extremely disappointing.
We were supposed to receive two 30-minute sessions per week, but most weeks we only received one session. There was very little follow-up or clarification despite the inconsistency. Then, we were informed that the tutor no longer worked for the company, and after that, we were never re-matched with a new tutor.
In total, I paid $672.30 for only 2.5 hours of tutoring. That is completely unacceptable and feels like a total rip-off. I’m very disappointed with how this was handled and would not recommend based on my experience.
