We checked a car registration for 50p. At no point was there any information about us signing up for a charge of £7.95 per month. I’ve checked the website again, and still no mention of a monthly charge! We think we’ve now cancelled, but, despite never using the site again, there has been no mention of a refund.

I went on DVLA website to pay our van tax and my partner has just noticed 3 transactions taken from his bank account from the company, that he never signed up for. Total scam. Shouldn't be allowed to do this without his permission. We will be getting in touch with our bank to have the payments stopped. It's fraud.

COMPLETE SCAM! This site makes you think you have logged on to DVLA, charges you 50p to tax your car then sets up monthly payments.
You can cancel the payment via there website at the moment by using contact us.

I am hoping to bump into the directors and explain how unpopular they are :)

I was taxing my car on line and somehow got onto this company who made charges of 50p then £7.95. For what? They came up when I looked for DVLA. Very suspect and I would like the monies reimbursed as did not ask for any service from them.
Update - I see I am far from the only one. Something should be done and DVLA making their site more secure for us folks when wanting to tax our cars. Also the Fraud Squad should be alerted and after Vehicleenquiry to stop this NOW.

My wife tried to tax her vehicle and somehow We've got scammed by this company.

I feel like I have been scammed. No idea why I am charged a monthly fee. I have tried to cancel but my bank says I have to do it with directly with this company. I have not had any service from this company and have never asked for any. I am in my 70’s and don’t need this aggravation

Totally deceitful site,

the company can improve by returning all the money they are scaming from impersonating DVLA website
They should be shut down and fined.

Went to tax my car only to be charged 50p and then £7.85 pending in my back next day rang back to cancel it but can't until its gone out of my bank ,been pasted to fraud only to be told its not fraud as I leave permission yo take 50p now can't get my money back as I can't cancel my subscription ...anybody know how I can cancel it ????

Total rip off be careful hacked into dvla website only after I taxed my vehicle the payments from my card went to them. First for fifty pence then seven pounds 85 day after. Didn't request their service and made their site look like dvla when it's not the red flag was not asking for renewal reference number. This company is a scammer.

I am currently trying to cancel my "subscription" - I was only paying my car tax- how can this be continuing to happen?

This company are parading as a site where you can pay your car tax. Total scam and should be shut down. When you try to pay tax, they take 50p then they charge a membership of £7.95. I cancelled a membership I didn’t sign up for. Beware this company.

I have just had to call my bank to block these people. i thought i was taxing my car. they took 50p first and then £7.85 later the same day. why hasn't anyone shut these people down yet?

I was also scammed today on this site thinking I was paying my road tax
Searched the company on line and found out the comments here. Having called the bank I was told I cannot do anything and that I need to cancel subscription with retailer first

I was guided to this site to register my new car with DVLA..... it's a con !!! AND they have been charging me £7.85 every month since last June and I can find no way to stop them from taking this money .

This is not a real site connected to the DVLA.
Do not use it to check your car, you should have a notice from DVLA.
Carefully follow their links or you will end up paying .50p and if not cancelled in 24 hours a membership fee.
