Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 62 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers found the service to be immensely valuable, providing essential information that helps in making informed purchase decisions for used cars. They appreciated the detailed insights into a vehicle's history, faults, and potential issues, which can save them from scams or headaches. Reviewers also highlighted the ease of use and the reasonable charges, often finding the free version to be quite good and the paid reports to be a fraction of the price compared to competitors. However, some customers were dissatisfied with the pricing, feeling that similar in-depth checks could be obtained for much less elsewhere. There were frequent complaints that users paid for comprehensive reports but found that crucial information, like service history, required additional payments. Some also reported issues with inaccurate vehicle information, such as incorrect images or false red flags that disappeared after payment. Additionally, a few users experienced problems with payment processing and not receiving their purchased reports.

These checks give you peace of mind

These checks give you peace of mind. Rather than taking the waffle from a trader this gives you an unbiased review on the vehicle then you can make your decision. For very little money you can save yourself a lot of heartache.

VehicleScore was such a lifesaver

VehicleScore was such a lifesaver, I was planning on buying a first car since I passed my test and was considering one which after using VehicleScore turned out to be written off, saved me so much time and money. And using them I’ve found another car which showed me all of it’s previous history, Thank you so much!!

Car with MOT until October 2024 scores less than a seriously rusty mot failure?

I'm not sure why this website gets so much promotion. Everything seems to be based on the MOT results. Is it a negative a car is over 10 years old? As long as a car is looked after & has the mot faults fixed it can last a lot longer than 10 years. Reference registration LC56PWO MOT until October 2024. All new brakes & tyres fitted. S273SNB many faults including rust evident on previous mots not addressed.

Hey! Thank you or taking the time to review us. We love any feedback we can get.

Please note, VehicleScore has no way of knowing if a vehicle has had new brakes, tyres etc.. We can only score vehicle's from data provided by the DVLA. Although, it would be great if we could use this data to influence the score.

Our scoring system has been designed to give a general idea and understanding of how healthy the vehicle is based off DVLA data. We do not wish for people to make their decision based on the score alone. We expect users to do their own due diligence when looking to purchase a vehicle.

Thank you for giving us a try, and hope to see you on the site again soon!
