Firstly I have to say that the staff were very friendly and professional. The above rating is all about the outcome of the treatment.

Those of you with unsightly veins are probably like me and just want to have the confidence to wear dresses and not trousers all the time.

The main veins which I had treatment for did work. However it has left my legs slightly worse as the treatment has now left me with so many thread veins. Every point of injection has been left with a large number of thread veins. Which they treated with sclerotherapy, however this didn't work. This is of course very disappointing as I have spent a lot of money for improvement not to make the situation worse.

Now I find myself in the same position after paying a considerable amount of money.

I feel very depressed and frustrated. I don't have the ability to fund anymore treatment.

They do state that you might get some thread veins that they can treat, but not on this scale and without successful treatment.

Dr Haslam was thorough and informative. The team were most helpful and reassuring so I feel confident to place myself in their hands.

When I have to go to places like the vein clinc I like to feel comfortable in the room l found that the doctor I was with very professional and very relaxed helping me to feel comfy and relaxed I found it all very interesting and very professional

I’d been contemplating getting my varicose veins treated for many years but had always been too anxious about the treatment involved. From the moment I arrived at the Vein Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, I felt at ease and knew I was in the hands of trustworthy professionals. Although quite costly, they are transparent about their prices and there were no hidden costs. Mark and Hazel are wonderful and they put my mind to rest straightaway. The procedure itself is a little uncomfortable but they both talked me through each stage while making me laugh and it was over before I knew it. It’s two months since my treatment and I’ve already felt confident enough to wear shorts for the first time in years and it’s been lovely to get compliments on how good my fifty-year old legs are looking! I would definitely recommend this place to others! Thank you so much to all the staff for giving me my confidence back.

Friendly and efficient

I have been receiving treatment from Hazel and Mark and it’s been nothing short of fantastic. They put you at ease and make the experience very pleasant. I am very happy with result too

For a procedure that is by its nature pretty gross and completely unappealing, The Vein Centre in Newcastle made my EVLA as pleasant an experience as it possibly could be. Dr. Mark Regi and his staff were just fantastic, kept the mood light and made sure I was informed about exactly what was happening before, during and after. I just had my follow-up with a little bit of foam sclerotherapy to clean up the last bits and everything has gone so smoothly. I hope to never need another EVLA, but if I do, I know who I’m calling!

An absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end. Such a professional team who looked after me superbly. The whole team have been so helpful. Dr Regi and Hazel put you at ease straight away, explaining everything and maintaining a really relaxed and friendly environment. The results I have had so far have been great and I highly recommend the clinic at Newcastle.

Thoroughly good experience at the Newcastle Clinic. Dr Regi and Hazel put me at ease as soon as I walked through the door. I have had my follow up treatment today, however, I have already had great improvements; my leg veins are no longer painful and they look so much better.

I was anxious about treatment but the team at Newcastle were great. The Dr and nurse were friendly and explained fully what was going on. Treatment was much easier than I'd imagined and I've had an amazing result. I can't believe the varicose vein I've had for 30 years has gone. I'd definitely recommend veincentre.

I visited the Newcastle Clinic in December for my consultation and was fitted in the following week for treatment for both EVLA treatment and foam treatment with a follow up 6 weeks later with more foam treatment. I saw a significant difference within those 6 weeks and 3 months on you wouldn't know there had been a varicose vein there.

Having payed up front and had my operation postponed 3 times in a year by a local private hospital, a friend suggested I tried somewhere else.
The outcome being the Vein Centre, Newcastle.
I rang them on a Tuesday, they did a consultation with me that Friday and my operation the following Friday.
Now, if that isn't good service, I don't know what is !
From Tracy in reception to Dr Regi and nurse Hazel, you truly did a wonderful job. I even received a follow-up telephone call, checking on me 2 weeks later.
The procedure was straightforward, back to driving in a couple of days.
Follow the sensible guidelines.

The team were friendly and professional and the information given was explained clearly and comprehensively. As it was my first visit for a consultation and scan I was made to feel comfortable and confident in the process.

Nice environment and consultation rooms, great location and an added bonus is that it is available on a weekend, professional and informative consultation.

Couldn’t recommend them enough! From my first phonecall, to my first appointment and treatment day and lastly my follow up they have all been amazing! Very professional but at the same time they made it a nice relaxing experience. I was made to feel at ease/ comfortable at every appointment I attended. The staff were lovely, made an effort to ensure I was ok throughout and couldn’t have done anymore for me :) my consultant was very knowledgeable, friendly, exceptionally understanding and answered any questions I had. It easy to get an appointment and didn’t have to wait for long at all. I would say the price is good for the treatments I had done. The aftercare was really good and the information pack they provide is really useful :)
