I never signed up for Velkommen. They bought another company that I was very happy with.
They keep a lot of the money every month even though the consumption was way lower than what they kept. So over half a year I overpaid by almost 11.000 kr. I still haven't received my money back after months.

Honestly, this is very scummy behavior and should be reported to the police.

AVOID this company!

This is the biggest energy scam in Denmark! AVOID AT ALL COST! They called me when my contract was about to renew. Guy from their service didn’t say he calls from a company, he said he is calling from energy association and because my contract is about to expire, I have to choose NEW provider. He made me believe that company Velkommen is the cheapest and best option. Since the first bill our invoices tripled. Instead of 280 dkk per month we had to pay 650 dkk to Velkommen!

After few months we called them to ask what is going on, we’re they replied that these are normal prices, and we should use less energy!

We switched back to orsted which is the main energy provider in Denmark with it’s own infrastructure. Velkommen send us already two fines for breaching the contract where we had a right to switch provider as we moved out.
First 550 kr and again 850 kr. This is the biggest scam and most expensive solution! The worse liars in customer service. They kept calling when we quit on Friday Saturday and Sunday at 20:00 several times. I recommend creating group of victims and having massive court case against them!

They constantly send me emails even when I withdraw consent. People need to sue them as a group and civil case! This is embarrassing that danish law enables this sort of scammy tactics on consumer market!

They reply that they don’t know what went wrong but it’s clearly their sale strategy to hope to catch people without them knowing. Many reviews have the same issue mentioned and each has response “oh we didn’t know”. How come Danish law allows for this scam to continue?!

could I give less than 1 star? Honestly, avoid this non-existent service at cost. Do yourself a favour, dont even bother, just look at the other alternatives - there is no logical reason why another human being would put themselves through such mediocre service. im on day 31 of emailing customer service without yet a response and phone waiting time is over an hour each time. Just dont do this! enjoy any other service.

Very annoying company
Not sure how they got my details, I already unsusbcribed several times from their emails, they keep sending me emails with offers, airfryers and other sorts of cheap crap. I would really like to be respected and not be contacted anymore.

I received an end bill 1,5 yrs after my last energy being supplied. Late, but OK, fair. I paid within 24 hrs.
Two weeks later I get a reminder fee bill for 100 kr + 29 bank fee (no energy fee). Why?
Send email and called them (waited over 1 hr) and bill was cancelled.
What an incompetence!

Long waiting time to get in touch with someone from customer service... Sometimes more than 30 minutes...
Delivering wrong information...called few times each time I got different information etc...

I bought 4 life jackets and only one has arrived. I have no way to contact seller and Royal Mail said they only had one tracking number and therefore can’t comment. I have no idea when or if I can expect the rest and no way to find out. Terrible service and would not recommend using. I have emailed them but now have to wait a week on a response.

A Really Scammer Company!
The company charges me money for the same bill twice. It has been almmost half year, but they still did not return the extra money back to me. Moreover, the stupid company always charges fee very randomly and charges many different types of wrong fees. I have complained this problem several times to the company, every time they promised me that this will not happen again, but it continued to happen again and again. I am really tired with this stupid and scammer company! Never use this company!

You charged me 689.03 DKK twice in January. Why you still did not return the extra wrong charged money back to me?
Scammer company! I did not receive any contacts from Velkommen! This company cheated me many times, every time they said they will contact, but they will never contact me. It has been more than half a year!

Very kind person and great communication skills.

Started nice, good sales pitch, promise of better service.
Then kept charging aconto but not giving back over 10 k on top of my usage. Took 2 month to clarify. 4 month later I quit due to a move, took two weeks to fix the move out date. Stay away! I even went to their office, because they kept ghosting. Hundreds of people, excellent ambiance, looked like no one was working! It was like in the movie Hangover.

Never have agreement with them even if conditions seem to be good!
I used them only for 2 month in Sep-Oct in 2024. I quit because they did not follow the agreements we made at the beginning (no binding period, no forward payments) - I have proofs for that.
I got a message with "final" payments in Nov 2024 and paid everything including ridiculous transaction fee of 29DKK. In mid May 2025 I got another "final" payment of 49DKK. Today I logged into selfservice and see negative saldo of 129 DKK. How many times I have to pay your "final" payment together with 29 DKK fee?!?
I insist you admit that it's a mistake and return me my money!
