Avoid avoid do not use them
I have had nothing but trouble with my door and windows snd all I get told is it’s not covered
The only time they call is to try and sell you more if there crap and when I say how unhappy I am they just say you have to call someone else
Still waiting on my door to be fixed as have to lift it to lock
That was over 6 months ago so go else where and they might treat you with respect as a customer

Windows were top quality, expertly fitted and the surveyor was extremely professional and polite

I recently had windows done by Verdi home improvement . The whole process was soo easy and the staff were so friendly and polite it made the process so easy. The finish product was done to top notch and the windows were top quality. Verdi products looked fantastic and are high-quality products. I was soo impressed with the staff and process and prices and the quality i decided to do my Conservatory with Verdi
Home improvement also. They always acted in our best interest instead of looking for bigger job or profits they wanted what was best option for us.

Thank you soo much and looking forward to use Verdi for other work to be done in my house.

Really lovely representatives and great communication, came to assess our shambles of a Safestyle door (they went bust, insurer selected Verdi). Ultimately not gone ahead with replacement as we've decided to move house asap but wanted to comment on how great Verdi were with communicating with us, booking us in, and their professionality.

Work done to an agreed and competitive price with no issues as of now. Installers were efficient, tidy and polite. Can't think of anything to improve at this point. Would have no problem recommending.

Had verdi do some work on our home just under two years ago. A door and a window for the kitchen. The work itself was good although the original quote was quite high. The price was bought down after agreeing to have a verdi advertising board on our front fence (due to the house being on a corner with many people driving by). This generated a lot of calls and custom for verdi, so much that they contacted us again offering a discount on any future work.

However, the after care is quite poor. The seal on the front door has started to get loose which has led to a draft coming in. Especially during winter, this is not ideal. On top of that, one of the keys for the kitchen window has broken inside the lock.

This would all be fine if verdi at least would come and sort it. However, after contacting them, they told us they have a 1 year warranty on the seal and moving parts. 1 year? Really? Thats ridiculous. Especially after the amount of enquiries they got from the board on the front of our house.

I won't be using verdi again seeing as their slogan of "your home, our passion" seems to be a lie. It should be "your money, our business, but only for a year".

UPDATE: Their response below states its not feasible to cover accidental damage. Even though the seal on the door coming loose and letting in the draft isn't accidental it's just poor product along side the key breaking in the kitchen window lock.

Behave verdi, take accountability foe your poor product that can't last more than a year.

The seal wasn't damaged by accident or misuse and the key breaking in a lock is just poor product if all it takes is a couple of twists to be broken. Yes your guarantee paperwork is included, however considering how much custom you got off putting a board on our fence (which clearly was a lot seeing as you then called to offer more work at a discount), it would've been good customer service to at least come out and look at the damage. But why would you do that when clearly caring for your customers after they've already paid isn't in your company policy.

Again, it's simply poor product and poor customer service. You can TRY pass it off as accidental damage, when it clearly isn't, and it's just terrible product that went bad after a year of use (with the key) and a year and a half (with the door).

We also did contact you, your customer service representative had all the customer service skills of a brick that spent 19 years in a Russian gulag.

This is the 2nd time we have used Verdi Home Improvements Ltd. Their fitters are competent and personable. Staff are helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Verdi does not honour its guarantees. I moved into a bungalow a few months ago where the previous owner had spent almost £15,000 on Verdi gutters, fascias and windows. The gutters that Verdi installed are leaking badly in several places, but they are still under guarantee. The guarantee document states that if selling the property, the owner must pass the paperwork to their solicitor (which the previous owner did did) and then Verdi needs to be notified and an administration fee paid. I offered 3 times to contact the previous owner to obtain the required notification, but was told that this was not necessary. Then I was told that it had to be done "at the point of sale" though it does not say this in any Verdi document. When selling a property, who on earth goes through all their guarantees, writes to all the companies issuing guarantees and pays an extra fee? If Verdi really are an trustworthy company, they should honour their guarantees and not wriggle out of them when it suits them.

Verdi replaced all of our double glazed windows/doors. They were very competitive on price. The whole experience from initial contact to completion of the work was a very positive one. Instillation was carried out very professionally with minimum disruption. Special mention to Owen and Joe for doing an excellent job! I would not hesitate in recommending Verdi to anyone wanting to replace their windows and doors.

Had a full set of windows done by verdi fantastic from start to finish. The team of lads that fitted was amazing couldn't of asked for anything more. Very polite and professional will definitely use again.

Just had a conservatory fitted by this company, i am very pleased with how everything went from start to finish. The work is all completed now and i'm very impressed with how it looks, a great team of lads that fitted it also. Thank you

Everything went wrong from start to finish, they changed the fitting dates so we had to give them a key, which they lost!
We didn't get the vents in the soffits? They dropped a hammer through our plastic roof, the guttering did not meet the neighbours so it leaked, the down pipe was too short and they didn't use a proper piece of down pipe so it constantly blocked because they simply cut a small hole in it and had to come and cut a bigger hole!
When they came to repair the leaking gutter, they arrived with no ladders and my husband had to help them out the bedroom window 😡
Would not recommend or ever use again, total cowboys and a manager that lies about your house key being safe in their office when you already know it's been lost! It ruined our October half term because of their failings. 😔😔😔😔😔😔

Verdi recently completed a renovation on my existing sunroom, they changed 2 walls and the roof.
Harry did the sales part, Tom and Lee did the renovation part. I am thrilled with the result, their professionalism and attention to detail was excellent. I’m also impressed with the ongoing clearing up.
I am already looking at Verdi for new windows, I have no hesitation recommending Verdi.

We first used Verdi last summer when we had moved house, and used them to replace all the existing double glazing, including doors.
They came back earlier this year to apply ProPerla to our roof and walls.
Both times we received 5star treatment from the initial consultation onwards.
We received the relevant warranties/ completion certificates afterwards without any chasing up (something we're finding a lot of companies are bad at). But the key pointer was they happily came back, earlier this week, to replace the door chain which had broken, free of charge ( including providing a new one), simply because we were good customers.
Would certainly recommend them, and use them again ourselves, when the need arises.

Called Verdi at roughly 2 : 30pm reporting a problem with the backdoor not locking.

They arrived at 4 : 30 pm ish fixing the problem within the same day.

Can't recommend these guys enough as got a little one running around opening every door.

1 star because the lads that come out to property are pleasant and polite did a neat job.
Then the problems start. Door difficult to open from outside keys snap. Only person who can open from inside is my husband. Explained in detail what requirements were for door upon purchasing visit regarding disability issues for 2 family members. The lock on the door is virtually impossible to open for anyone let alone people with issues. Fire hazard, when you cant get out the house.
Told it will loosen up. Nope. Got worse. Then is apparently faulty. New lock fitted. Is now even harder to open from inside. Takes me roughly 9 attempts , 2 hands on a piddly little knob. Oh but its ok it will loosen up. !
Every time i have called have been told will look at it when in the area. Thats not acceptable. Were not that far away. Takes an average of 2-3 wks to come out. Staff on the phone have not spoken in a nice manor to me.
After months of issues, and asking about a more suitable handle that actually opens the door i have been told can have one fitted. But oh will cost me over £220. !! Disgraceful. Was quoted 'not free as per there contract has been fulfilled.' How is this when the door is barely operational. Only 1 person out of at least 10 can open it.? My daughter cant come home or leave if no one is here as she cant open it at all. I am now having to have medical treatment due to issues on wrist from trying to open the door.
Correct me if im wrong but the purpose of a door is to open and close when entering/leaving property. If you want a door that does this. Go elsewhere.

We had previously had work done by this company a few years ago. We’re very pleased with the entire process.
Hence we returned as we needed a replacement PVC rear door.
From the sales team to the actual supplying and fitting of the new door has gone very well.
We are very pleased with the finished product, could not be more pleased and would highly recommend Verdi Home Improvements.

I chose Verdi to replace my 40+yr old conservatory and I’m extremely happy with their service from start to finish.
After several quotes and pushy salesmen from other companies to spend ridiculous amounts on a 10x5ft sun room it was a relief when Harry arrived to give his quote.
No pressure at all, he suggested obscure glass for the side panes and have full length glass rather than upvc panels at the bottom.
Showed me lots of different examples. He was so helpful and friendly. Surveyor Ian was also very helpful and professional when measuring up .
Instillation was on the agreed date , the fitters arrived on time and went through the details again to check I was happy for them to proceed.
Very efficient, cleaned and tidied as they worked, kept me up to date throughout the day and again both lovely chaps , Ian and mark I think.
There was a small problem with the door sticking so Ian contacted the manufacturers and they came out the following week.
I really can’t compliment them enough and I’m very hard to please in general so it should be 6⭐️

I recently had my Fascia’s, soffits and drain pipes replaced last November, which I followed up with having all the windows and doors replaced in June, I have to say Verdi did an excellent job it has completely transformed my house.I also have to mentioned sales advisor Richard Moore did a great job ,his expertise and knowledge of his product was one of the main reasons why I chose Verdi.I also have to mention Ryan and his team did an excellent job in fitting the Windows and doors too ,very efficient team.

We commissioned Verdi to build a conservatory, install two extra doors and replace a gable window back in March 2020. They did a terrible job, failed to address issues, denied responsibility for faults and refuse to allow any means to communicate directly with management/decision makers.

In brief: the base footings (foundation) were not level or square, block-work left unfinished, the whole roof was built to slope the wrong way to the original design spec, one wall was build incorrectly (had to be remanufactured), it leaked in several places and flooded, one door didn't fit the frame (has gaps because the base wasn't square and true), the rainwater down-pipe from the house gutters flooded the gutters, a foul drain stench-pipe was advised to be redundant and removed (now we have a stink of drains), mildew grew in the roof polycarbonate sheets, the gable window they fitted lost it's flashing in high winds but when they realised they would have to use £500 of scaffolding to access the job they refused to do the work, another door keeps dropping and will now not freely open/close. The management refuse to talk and the after-sales team now will not accept any phone calls. And that is just what I can recall here off-the cuff.

There is plenty more. Go elsewhere. I truly don't know how this horrid outfit ever get any good feedback. The guys who actually did the work were nice enough but just bodgers nonetheless.

Most recently they refused to attend to the conservatory door that has dropped no matter how many time they came and adjusted it (several visits) without my now paying £185 in advance. I found a local specialist who for £90 replaced the hinges as they were found to be defective (stripped threads) and advised the whole design was lacking in several aspects.

I am truly sorry that I have not before place negative feedback here as my experience of this firm progressed. I had always been hopeful they would attend to the issues but I now feel I was very naive. I would have done better to have reported all my sad history with Verdi here blow by blow if only to save others from falling prey to their shambolic service.
