Really pleased with all the work carried out by Verdi. Soffits and facias were something we were planning on, however not before Christmas 2022 until there was a knock on the door by a very pleasant young man called Oscar. He was probably the best sales advisor ever to knock. He was not pushy at all and was very natural and knew exactly what he was talking about. So we arranged an appointment and got the work done. The work was carried out by two brothers who really worked efficiently to complete the work to a very high standard. The products are excellent and we’re are really pleased we chose Verdi!! Oscar thank you for knocking on our door!

No pressure from the salesperson who came to quote. Efficient and friendly fitters who cleared up after the work was done. No redecorating needed after completion.

Amazing quality windows fitted by verdi, friendly informative staff, solid workmanship, an all round pleasant experience from start to finish

We loved the idea of a family firm that was local and we liked the product. However do not let them book the surveyor within your cooling off period as that null and voids your deposit. We will not be using them in the future.

Verdi’s response. Must be spam. Must be made up. This company is in denial. I’ve had every product they do. All good products. After care service. Diabolical. Instead of trying to improve they label it false. Definitely in denial

We have just had some home improvements carried out by Verdi. We chose Verdi because from the first initial call to the completion, the team were warm, friendly and professional. The work carried out was done to the highest standard and I would not hesitate to recommend Verdi. We will certainly be using them again in the near future.

From the initial door knock to the final installation I found everyone at Verdi to be polite and respectful, both of me and my property.
On the installation day the guys arrived promptly and got to work removing and replacing the soffits, fascia and guttering. They also cleared up at the end of the day taking all rubbish away with them.
I am more than happy with the work completed at my property and wouldn’t hesitate to use Verdi again for other work if needed.

Verdi fitters were courteous and respectful of our home . The new windows are now draught proof . Have a new look about them and of course the closing mechanism is very easy to operate

Well finally after nearly a year we've two doors fitted second one is not what we ordered so we made the compromise of having a white frame fitted just to get it sorted and put an end to this for ever going on saga,one thing I can't fault if you get the right ones are the fitters we actually feel sorry for them as they work efficiently and do a great job again if you get the right ones. If anything the company needs to not make promises it can't keep as stated in there brochures and need to improve there customer service.

On time . Explained what they were doing .completed the job quickly but did not rush and end result looks clean and tidy . They did clean up at the end but I had to do a little myself but did not effect overall experience.well done 😀

Scaffolding was erected the day before the men started. Two fitters worked well and coped with the rain and wasp nest! Soffits and facias were well fitted and look good. Given time I would have preferred to replace the end ridge tile rather than rely on a cement finishing. Two weeks after finishing the scaffolding was removed.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Absolute cowboys!!! Use their pressure tactics, ridiculous gimmicks, false promises and timescales to make you buy something that you only wanted a quote for. THEY WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE YOU SIGN ON THAT DOTTED LINE AND TRAP YOU INTO THEIR NONSENSE CONTRACT!! I am now having to go to court with this company for a product they have mis-sold to me and are now asking for 80% of the total cost without any work being done. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES! If you care about your mental health and well being then trust the bad reviews you see!! As I did not.

Clearly communicated timescale and kept to it. Windows look great and they were quick to help when I needed to make changes. Would definitely recommend.

Executed exactly as planned by very competent technicians and scaffolders. Much improved fascia, barge and soffit boards over the rubbish installed by the builders. Efficient and tidy craftsmen.

Good Evening,

Last week my partner and I were visited by salesman in order to obtain a quote for 2 windows in our property in location. Prior to the appointment I emailed the enquiries mailbox to make 3 things clear;

We would not be agreeing to anything on the day of the appointment.
We did not want to have a prolonged demonstration of the product.
We did not want to discuss our budget as we do not understand the current market so cannot have an informed discussion on that basis.

The day prior to the visit I also spoke to someone who had called to confirm the date was still OK - during that call I reiterated that we would not be agreeing to anything on the day. I was told that this would be fine and that all quotes are valid for 12 months.

When salesman arrived, he first asked whether we had been sent a code when booking in the appointment which we had not; he made a phone call (without excusing himself which I found quite rude) to retrieve what turned out to be a discount code. We initially discussed our requirements and showed him the windows that we would be replacing. During this informal chat I conveyed to him that we would not be agreeing to anything on the day. The reason for my persistence in making this point is that my only experience of double glazing sales was from many years ago when my father had to throw a salesman out of the house after he had spent 5 hours there making continued phone calls to the office to try to secure agreement on the night.

After salesman had measured the windows, we then went into our living room where he proceeded to give us a warp speed description of the company and a demonstration of the product. This was followed by prices; one if we were to sign on to a deal that evening and another that would be the quote valid for 12 months but that we would need to pay a deposit to secure (which was not mentioned on my call the previous day). I again reiterated that we would not be agreeing to anything on the day the 4th time I’d told your company this fact.

Following this, salesman again placed a call to the office without excusing himself. This time it was “to return the discount code” retrieved by his first call. At this point I realised that we were being subjected to pressure techniques and quite blatant ones at that; returning a discount code, if that wasn’t just clearly a ruse to create urgency, is something that could be done after leaving our house. Also, the code was mostly our postcode so you’re telling me you have so many customers in this area that you would need to immediately return it to allow others to benefit? No, it was completely unnecessary and salesman was obviously trying to pressure us into signing up immediately out of fear of losing this mysteriously sought-after discount.

The call served another purpose, however. It allowed salesman to try the make-the-customer-feel-bad technique; he told the office that he was returning the code as we wanted time to think. The cowboy at the other end of the phone did some prompting and salesman put the phone on his knee to ask us “So you’re happy with the company, you’re happy with the price…I’ve not done anything wrong?”. Of course our answer was that we just wanted to compare your prices to others.
Phone back to the ear: “No they just want extra time…”

We hear “YEEHAWS” from the other end of the phone…

“We actually have someone in the area with a couple of doors being fitted. They’re just a quick job, what if we could get you booked in on that day, we could reduce the price a bit more as we’re already out this way?”

At this point I’d had enough, my partner was feeling incredibly uncomfortable, as was I. I made it clear to salesman that he’d reached the point where I’d witnessed my father throw a salesman out of the house decades ago and that there was nothing further to discuss. He packed up and left.

The prices that we were given so far seem to be slightly higher than competitors but I would not go with yourselves if you were the cheapest by a mile; quite frankly I would not allow another member of your company into our house. All of the above doesn’t even take into account the fact that salesman spoke directly to me the entire time, barely acknowledging my other half. You would be fighting an uphill battle even if you hadn’t tried to pressure us into something we were explicit about not doing as we do not deal with companies that would act as if these are male-only decisions and that the lady-folk are there just to listen to the men talk.

Your sales techniques have to change; I will be placing this blow-by-blow account on many different review sites in order to warn others about the tactics you use. I hope this provides you with the motivation required to update your practices.

Excellent service from start to finish with Verdi and the fitters were fantastic and cleaned everything up before they finished. Thank you

Verdi is a Great Company !
Everyone is friendly and helpful and the work has been fantastic and has been admired by friends and neighbours.
I am planning to have further work carried out next spring.
