Warning!! Do not use. Fraudsters.

After several emails back and forth with me constantly asking for a return address, they asked me to try the product first. I hooked it up and ran a program on it that checks for validity. The program said it's claimed 30TB but actual space is like 4.10kb. (Validrive is the app btw) Anyway, they buckled and sent me a return address which isn't theirs. I called them out on it and they are stating i will receive a full refund in 3-5 days. We'll see.

Complete Scam

Bought 2 of these 2Tb drives and they have now been returned for a refund. Actual storage is 54.7Gb, so less than 3% of claimed capacity.

Useless. Advised me to reformat but this did not help.
Do they market their rubbish through Shopify? Why should a respectable organisation deal with Versik.

No guarantee

DO NOT BUY A VERSIK HARD DISK! Mine stopped working at 6 weeks and when I contacted the company they said there was no guarantee only a returns policy for the first 30 days. My disk is useless. Please do not waste your money as these disks are unreliable and there is no guarantee!

Rather Smooth and unproblematic expierience

I had only come across the Trustpilot reviews after I had bought one of their drives. From seeing all of these negative reviews, I tried to cancel my order. Sadly, they told me I had to wait for the product to arrive first; then I could try to send the product back and get a refund. About 2 weeks after I had ordered the SSD drive, it had finally arrived. I emailed them that I would like to start the return process, and I was offered a 50% refund without the need of sending the product back. I must note that it is strange that you can just buy one of their products for very cheap if you ask for a 50% refund without needing to send back the item. Nevertheless, I had opted for a full refund as I would find no use for this item. Their drives are just cheap quality, and you can find many similar SSD drives on websites like AliExpress or Wish.com. I was provided the return address which, after I had googled it, was a residential area. Regardless, I went to my nearest post office and sent it away. I emailed them the details of the package, and in just a few days, it had arrived at the address that I had been provided. I told them that the package had arrived, and that's when they told me they had initiated my refund. After 3 or so days, I got my money back. I'm giving them 4 stars on this review for the reasons that firstly, I wasn't able to cancel my order which would have saved a lot of time, and secondly, is the fact that while I did get my full refund, I still had to pay the post office to send back the product, meaning it still wasn't a full refund. But it's nothing much to complain about as the cost was rather very small. Lastly, I should point out that my experience with them was rather very smooth regarding the refund and return process, and I did not even open nor use the SSD drive itself, thus why in my review I am not reflecting upon their product. I hope this review finds you very well.

Versik - avoid at all costs

Yup
I fell for this as well.
Signs were there ... UK office doesnt exist, phone number in the UK doesnt exist, despite them saying they hold stock in the UK disks came in from China, you plug them in and as soon as you unplug them your data has gone, you report it and they offer you a 50% refund TO SAVE YOU TIME AND HASSLE. The return address I have been given is a residential street in Kent where some poor person will receive a package and they wont have a clue what its about (I have seen three different homeowners post on this site saying they have received random parcels of disks).

Absolutely useless product.

Absolutely useless product.
Spent 12 days trying to figure out what we were doing wrong (two smart guys), before giving up and ordering a product from Crucial at double the price which worked beautifully straight out of the packet.
At the same time wrote long message on Versik's website in the Contact Us form provided, asking for the promised refund.
No response.
Eventually wrote an email to the address on Versik's website. Returned by postmaster as not a deliverable address.
Wrote email to Versik's other address.
Time's passing.
Versik answer saying send product back.
I email saying that's a waste of time, this product is not worth anything to anybody. You pay the postage and refund my money immediately.
Time's passing so it's nearly 2 months since I handed over my money for a product that never worked which has wasted about 40 hours here in the office watching YouTube videos about problems with external SSDs and trying out each new piece of advice found. It takes hours to copy and paste folders to the SSD, only to find that less than 1% of the videos are now available on the SSD!
Finally got an email today from these dodgy fakes, saying "send a screenshot or any proof of the email you sent on February 3rd, 2024, regarding your complaint and refund request."
How can I do that? It wasn't an email it was a direct contact form on their website. I gave my email address but I never received a copy of my complaint.
Listen. Don't buy anything from this company.
I honestly believe all positive reviews are fake. They immediately delete any negative review, like mine.
The positive reviews are fake. Also here on Trustpilot, how can anyone be giving 5 stars for a product where 90% of the reviewers give one star, lowest score possible? Fakes!
How much money have they conned now? Every day millions of us need more storage. Versik show up on Google Search as apparently the cheapest suppliers of reliable SSDs. I wonder if anyone ever got a working product from them?

Never again!

Never again!! Avoid ! Its a scam!
Do NOT buy impulsively, slow down with your purchase or go to proper ones! Seagate or WD, etc..
You will not get quality here for the money.
It feels like a plastic cover... The weight is 37g!Opposite to my Seagate 2tb which is 238g!

When i formatted to exFAT 32 it stopped working!
There is no detection of anything now on my laptop

I lost £29.50 and sense of pride which is much dearer

That says everything.

I fell for it too.

Like others on here I fell for it which is unusual for me. They're supposedly in the UK but a Chinese tracking number?? REALLY?? Guaranteed a cheap Chinese fake. I ordered 2 and after about 3 weeks, 1 arrived. What a piece of tat. Haven't opened it. Keep asking about a return address and keep getting the fob off. These people are scammers plain and simple. Do not buy from them

UPDATE: They asked me to try the item before starting the return process which I did. As suspected, there is NO capacity on these fakes. Tested with validation software. They finally issued a return address and asked for the tracking number which I gave. Google maps shows the address to be a house. I called them out on that and they stated again that the address is correct. Lo and behold, delivery was attempted and refused as unknown. My refund was actually given and the package was returned to me. It's still sitting there. Why ask me to return it??

Purchased a SSD from Versik, no way of contacting them when the item is faulty

Purchased a SSD from Versik, drive does not work. I have tried to email them, as they suggest to do if there is a problem. However, the email address is full, I guess with to many complaints, so I have tried to ring them and the phone number they give on the website does not work either. Please save your money and do not this poor excuse of a company, it may seem cheap but it will cost you more in the long run.

Item doesn't work, not yet received full refund

I purchased an external SSD from Versik but it does not work and now they are dragging their heels, offering me a 50% refund for an item that I cannot use.

They have the gall to say this: "We understand that returning an item can be time-consuming and we want to make the process as easy as possible for you. As this is your first order with us, we would like to offer you a refund of 50% without the need to return the item. This would allow us to quickly resolve the issue and save both of us time and energy"

They could save me time and energy by just issuing a refund in the first place

Poor kit and company response

I bought the 4TB Ultra Speed External SSD on 16/01/2024. When it arrived it never achieved anything like the claimed transfer speeds and failed to operate on many occasions. After various interaction with Versik I demanded a refund. As they required I returned the item via tracked Royal Mail but they were not available at the address when Royal Mail attempted to deliver. I have had still not contact from them since.

I'm looking for a new hard drive and this company came up on google with prices so low that they immediately warranted further investigation. First red flag is they don't give any business address causing me to look further. This site confirms the concerns, they will be ignored. Thank you Trustpilot!

Have order twice first time two

Have order twice first time two. Ssd hard drives both could not format with Apple or windows. Hard work to send back but when I did. Got refund beware they don’t refund postage Second time advised by them to use specialist format software the fault showed up only part of the hard drive would format after a long argument I sent. It back again they have not paid for postage even tho they ask for it to be tracked and registered so far it’s cost over £6 have emailed many times but get no where again this company gives internet a bad nam so either very poor service or they put the money in a hight interest account and drag you refund out. Don’t buy 3 brand new hard drives all same fault. Retired electrical engineer
