I have just picked up my BMW 120 from Vertu Durham and could not be happier. From start to finish (which was an incredibly quick turnaround!) Nick Mason was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He made the whole experience completely effortless and easy. I was made to feel welcome and completely at ease and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. I can honestly say this was the most pleasant and stress free experience I have ever had of buying a car. Thank you so much, I am really grateful and so pleased that it was such an easy process. Martin Turnbull @ Durham Honda is an asset to the business very friendly and nothing is a bother. I have being buying my cars from Durham Honda for a number of years now and would recommend this garage to anyone. The only thing that was long winded was buying the car the amount of boxes that need ticked before you even get to the hand over date is ludicrous. I have computer skills which I found to be over complicated so god help the older generation and would probably find it too difficult that it would put them off buying a car. I would like to say this isn’t down to the people working there as they are very good at what they do it’s just the process. Thank you again Martin as I said earlier your an asset to the business. Oh last one thank you for the pie which was a lovely extra we didn’t expect.

The reason for the purchase is,
Straight price ie. £??,000 instead of £??,980 or 999 etc. plus the car was a car Approved by BMW.

Other considerations were, it’s an Automatic, 4 wheel drive with good Safety features and high Quality.

From ordering the vehicle to collecting, the motability staff where excellent. Helpful and informative.

The staff at your Durham branch are exceptional. They treated me with respect and were totally honest when discussing my requirements. I believe they gave me the best advice possible. A special thank you to Tom Sutton whose friendly but professional attitude together with the time he spent with me ensuring that was familiar with all the controls and apps made the experience so much easier.

After 15 years I decided to visit BMW Durham Vertu to purchase a vehicle. I initially contacted the dealership to enquire about a BMW X3 and Andrew Nichols provided me with an initial briefing of the vehicle’s specifications. I had several questions to be answered and was also considering a few other BMW X3s from another dealership.
I was impressed by how Andrew answered all my questions in detail within a suitable timeframe. This was far superior to the other ten dealerships I had contacted.
Through Andrew’s excellent customer service I decided to purchase the vehicle from BMW Durham and will certainly return when I am in the market again.

I have brought and approved used 3 series which has been delivered with a faulty TMPS valve so could not use the car for 5 days until I took it to a bmw service for repair. Then after driving the car for few days i notice that there is and issue with the steering so I book it for repairs under the warranty, but that service could not provide a courtesy car and they said to speak to Vertu,which i did and they did not want to help with and still doesn't want to.As the 1st stage of the repair did not fix the issue and the bmw service i use they only have courtesy car in 3 weeks.Now I will have to drive an unsafe car until then.
For a vehicle sold as “BMW Approved”, with a supposed 120-point inspection, I expected a far higher standard of care and after-sales support.

I trusted Vertu to sell me a car that was fully checked and safe, but instead I am left with a defective vehicle, no assistance, and no urgency to put things right. Very disappointing experience and not what I expect from a BMW dealership.

Excellent service

An excellent experience from start to finish. I was able to reserve a car easily and arranged a test drive. Then it was no problem to test out another car. Once decided to buy everything was seamless and easy. Able to drive the car away the same day after a valet and some flowers 🌹 . I would use and recommend again.

Simple and straight forward with minimal fuss. Great communication and advice throughout the process.

The customer service was impressive.
I had visited just to view a Honda at my daughters suggestion.I had partially decided on another car .
However the Sales Rep highlighted all the benefits of the Honda and patiently accompanied us on the test drive identifying all the features and assets of the car.
Her relaxed manner and enthusiasm contributed to me changing my mind.
Natalie was extremely helpful throughout the whole sale ,explained in detail the various add on options and definitely was instrumental in my purchase.
I would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a Honda to visit this branch.
