Bought a new Puma Gen E on a personal hire contract. Everything in terms of test drive, model range, costs, contract details etc handled very well by sales staff.
Problems with Ford Lease Co which led to significant delays in delivery of the car but these not related to staff at Vertu Motors, Redditch. Staff here explained problems with Ford Lease, kept me regularly informed on progress and offered a courtesy car until delivery of the new car.

I was unsure about purchasing a car via the online route without visiting the showroom but I’ve got to say I can not fault the team, Gabbi was great from the first call, I asked if I could have a walk around video of the car I liked and specified certain things I wanted to see to make sure they worked.
Gabbi sent the video over within a hour of the phone call, she then scheduled a call back for when I had watched the video. I decided I like the car and wanted to go ahead with the purchase. I paid the deposit to secure the car and a follow up call was made for when Gabbi was back after her days off. We went through paperwork and it was organised that the car would be delivered to me at my work, the time frame from deposit to receiving the car was within a week. On the day the car was arriving I had a call to say the car was ready to leave and a timeframe on what time it would arrive, the car arrived as stated and as I work for a vehicle repair garage the vehicle was taken onto a lift and checked over by the technicians, the car was as it was advertised, no issues or concerns were found. I was very sceptical about buying without seeing but I would highly recommend using Vertu, I can not fault the team at all.

We recently purchased a Ford Puma from Joe Graham at Vertu Motors. We found the experience of buying the car extremely easy because Joe made a great effort to help in every part of the process. AVOIIDDD AT ALL COSTS!

Bought a car in June and within 2 weeks I had issues with my automatic lights when unlocking the car I am getting into darkness.

Birmingham Vertu didn’t wanna know and said it was working. I then took it to redditch cause it wasn’t working and they said I needed a new light console for the inside light. 2 weeks after them going this the light system isn’t working again and I’ve took it in after having Halfords check my battery saying it needed recharging.
I said I did a long journey of 5 hours driving which they said that should of charged it and to take it back to Vertu.

Ofc Vertu did their tests and said the battery is fine etc and they can’t sort it. I then said what about my lights? And the girl on reception said “so now you want me to book it in with the technicians to check the lights?” And I’m like that’s the WHOLE POINT ITS IN THERE MY LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING AND CHANCES ARE ITS TO DO WITH THE BATTERY.

Here I am still not having the issue sorted.
Sold a car with a fault that they haven’t fixed.

Advice if you do buy a car from them, don’t take out extended warranty, don’t take out service plan, save your money and go to an independent mechanic that takes pride is their work.
They charge you full whack for new parts and put the budget stuff on anyway.
All they care about is selling a car and don’t care about you after that the only time they care is if they can get loads of money out of you!!!

UPDATE - to reply you can pass details on but no one will contact or do anything to help cause you couldn’t care less and don’t know good customer service. My cousin works in the media in London il be sure to get them to write a post about how poor the company is.

From the first enquiry to taking delivery of my new car the sales person John Brooks was very understanding of my requirements and the specification of the car I wanted, John and he’s colleagues did everything they could to get me the best affordable deal to suit my lifestyle and cannot thank them enough, everyone who works treats you with kindness. We have just purchased an ex-demo Mazda 2 hybrid. The showroom team were all welcoming, the service was professional but also very friendly and all our questions were answered to our complete satisfaction.
Vertu offered me a really good value for the trade in of my previous car and the price of the Mazda 2 was surprisingly attractive.
All in all, a very pleasant car-buying experience.

Do the paper work and explaining the cost and the extras you may like.

On our first initial walk into the store we was welcomed nicely by a member of staff, however the moment we said we was after a second hand car his attitude changed slightly.
He took us to the sales agent who will be dealing with our request and he was absolutely brilliant, Umer was so friendly and helpful. He handled everything perfectly and has even gone the extra mile to help us. So thank you again Umer.
