An Indifferent Quality Jazz Band
Whilst The Exeter team were all polite, my overall feeling is that I should not have gone to this dealership. They will know that I gave them a good deal on part-exchanging my 2017 EX Jazz for the SR HEV version - laughing all the way to the bank maybe - despite that, small requests on my part were refused. For example, I asked if the dash cam could be transferred, that received a polite but emphatic 'No'. I was given one key and told a second had been ordered, in view of my experience, I have no doubt that I shall need to keep asking for it. I have since found that the trim covering the roof-rack channels is loose on one side, I have no confidence that would be attended to without an amount of persistence on my part. I have had Honda cars for many years and this is the first time I have not been too happy with the buying experience. Finally, the way that documents need to be cleared at head office before they can be printed at the local dealership introduces a tiresome interval that is, surely, unnecessary.

We regret that some of your requests left you feeling disappointed. Decisions around items such as dash cam transfers can be influenced by technical, warranty, or vehicle-specific considerations, but we understand how the refusal may have felt frustrating in the context of the overall transaction. Your feedback on this is appreciated.
Regarding the second key and the roof-rack trim, these are certainly matters we would want resolved promptly and without the need for repeated follow-up. We apologise if we have given you any reason to doubt this, and our General Manager will address as quickly as possible.
We also appreciate your comments about the document processing times. As a franchised retailer, some administrative steps are required to be completed centrally to ensure compliance and accuracy, but we recognise that delays can be inconvenient and we are continually reviewing how these processes can be improved.

Buying a Honda Jazz from Vertu Honda…
Buying a Honda Jazz from Vertu Honda was a 5* excellent experience! I was nervous about driving an Automatic for the first time but the test drive with Ian Sykes was reassuring and his calm patient approach was exactly what I needed. I was uncertain whether to buy new or nearly new and he explained the payment options clearly and located an almost new Honda Jazz at another branch for me to consider.
The following day I asked for this to be brought to Exeter and, in Ian’s absence, Ben Miller was very helpful, going through all the necessary paperwork with me over the phone, explaining everything and answering all my questions.
In the coming days I was kept fully informed of the progress by email, text and phone and received a video of the car when it arrived.
The whole process was made easy for me by Ian Sykes and other staff at Vertu Honda Exeter. The deal was completed quickly and efficiently. Ian took particular care to make sure I felt confident and safe with an Automatic, even on the day I collected the car he offered a short test drive in case I had any further questions. I am delighted with the result and have already recommended Vertu Honda Exeter to a friend who is looking to upgrade her Honda Jazz!

Perfect salesmanship
Well, we found the car we were looking for so popped in to Vertu Honda and was made to feel welcome with no pressure at all. Tbh, dealer pressure in the past has made me feel uncomfortable and walk away but on this occasion, it was a totally different experience. I had already done all the research so knew what we wanted.
I was very relaxed and the salesmen and dealership knowledge was first class. I was welcomed by Ian Sykes at first point of potential sale then two other's on hand over to seal the deal. Best and most comfortable buying experience I've had. Thanks guys.
