Very bad experience from picking up the…
Very bad experience from picking up the car 2 months just to change tyre pressure sensors so many phone calls from me chasing everything up nothing from the company customer service after purchase is zero
Finally got my sensors fitted and they damaged every alloy got that sorted and their mechanics didn't understand when I wrote can u fix the wires hanging down under the front passenger seat so they just looked under the car so had to wait again for that to be sorted manager talks down to u and walks away the branch manager said he would personally oversea all jobs but nope didn't happen they promised to put some fuel in for the inconvenience didn't happen had to wait for someone to do that whole place needs organisation and learn how to treat customers after a sale would not recommend to anyone

When I was thinking about buying a car from here I had multiple calls daily, as soon as I had put the deposit down it took days to get a phone call back from anyone, it always seemed to be me chasing them, I just want to know when my car is being delivered as I’m 300 miles away from the dealership, they just weren’t very helpful in this aspect, adding on items I specifically said I did not want making it more difficult and a longer process for myself, I missed a phone call from them by a minute I rang them straight back and I’m still waiting for a callback hours later, no one has told me anything, that aside I’m being passed around to 3 different sales people

Damage to Vehicles; AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Every time I bring my car here, my heart sinks. I thought I should give them the benefit of the doubt. However, this place is completely untrustworthy.
On this visit, they somehow managed to rip off a perfectly working windshield wiper and then tried to charge us $60 to replace it. Last time, they pushed a load of unnecessary upsells during the first service, claimed the brakes looked “suspicious” because of some grime, and tried to scare us into paying hundreds more for checks that clearly weren’t needed.
To make things worse, they even put a dent in the car and took zero accountability.
This garage operates like a scam. Constant fear-mongering, unnecessary charges, careless workmanship, and damage to customers’ vehicles. I genuinely do not feel my car is safe with these people. Avoid at all costs.

What an experience
So I traveled from Belfast over to Edinburgh Hyundai branch to accompany a family member on the 22-05-26 to purchase a Skoda Karoq. The staff were amazing from start to finish. To say we had a few issues getting the funds transferred from the bank in Belfast is a serious understatement. They all were great the whole time, worked with us while always staying professional. Scott that has to be the most difficult sale of your career, you showed great patience and understanding in what was a really difficult situation for all, cannot thank you all enough. Would 100% recommend anyone to buy a car from Vertu Edinburgh, Scott and Dale made the experience fantastic. Credit to all the staff there and thank you so much.

Just bought my first new car through Vertu, Calder Road, Edinburgh. Was a little anxious as so much to think about and consider before making commitment. However, the delightful Dermot Murphy made the whole process so easy and unstressful. I was anxious about being ‘sold to’ but did not feel that at all. There was absolutely no pressure just excellent communication and information. I am very pleased with my purchase and feel confident I will continue to receive good service throughout my warranty period. Maintenance Team very good at Vertu Hyundai Edinburgh West
The maintenance team served me well when my 21 plate Tucson was due its service and MoT just before Easter weekend. Unfortunately a software update prompted additional requirements to remove amber warning lights showing shortly after pick up. All additional.parts / updates ordered, fitted and courtesy car provided free of cost for additional visit. Steve and Alisha on the team communicated very well, after navigating the Easter hols.
Very happy with their service but perhaps Hyundai should have a programme to assess what additional updates required for the exact model and year due to be serviced, to avoid the need for a return visit.
