Great People To Deal With
I bought a used Mini in August 2025 and the service was so good that when I had the opportunity to buy a brand new Mini, there was only one place I would go.
Shout out to Ben who really looks after his customers and a very big thank you to Stacy who dealt with the order and the whole process with us. The car arrived ahead of schedule and we were made to feel really special all the way through the process right up to collection, which was a great experience.

From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. First mini purchase
Cameron and Ben at Mini were really helpful. Both answered my questions and provided relevant information. I’ve only driven manual cars previously and Cameron took me through how to drive the automatic Mini Cooper and supported me as I test drove the vehicle. Vertu provided a professional service and have since supported me following the purchase of my Mini. We were very well looked after by Carl Baker and the team at Vertu York, from start to finish. We spent some time deciding exactly what specification we required, and then Carl found us a suitable car out of new build stock due for delivery in the next few weeks.

Very friendly people . We dealt with Harry who was very knowledgeable and could answer all my questions.his tea making skills were excellent too.
Didn't really enjoy the negotiating side of the process - why do all garages do this ? " Hang on I will have to speak to my manager " "this car is about to go to auction if it's not sold"

We bought a mini in November 2025
We bought a mini clubman in November 2022 supported by Carl Baker, our sales executive, who was exceptional. As a result of that good experience we returned in November 2025 to have a look at upgrading to another new Mini. We were not disappointed. Carl once again was professional, friendly, helpful and had a thorough knowledge of the cars we were looking at. We have had our Mini for two months now and are thoroughly enjoying the new driving experience. Appeared Very Customer Focused
Recently purchased an approved used Mini Clubman from York, which overall was a very positive experience.
While the small team were clearly busy dealing with other customers when I first called in, having not made any previous contact, someone soon came over and I ended up being shown round a Clubman of interest by Harry, who was very courteous and professional to deal with. After taking the car for a reasonable test drive we went through the financial costs, as I had a BMW as a likely part exchange, though I was slightly disappointed by the offer I received for it considering its condition and Vertu's BMW dealership next door, so I decided not to commit to a purchase at this time.
However, after selling the BMW elsewhere I came back to York and finalised a deal with Harry and his colleague Ben on the Clubman which went very smoothly and with flexibility with regard to collection, as we were now into the Christmas holiday period. So in the New Year I collected the Clubman, again a very straightforward process, with the car nicely prepared for collection along with a fresh MOT too.
Also worth mentioning the customer support after collection, as while still getting to know the car along with the various settings in the infomat system, I noticed the electronic service history I had been previously shown had disappeared from the service menu, so I contacted Harry and he very promptly delt with this, with the service team successfully reinstalling the missing service records remotely within a couple of hours of making the call, so no need for a trip to York, couldn't ask for more really, first class service.
Hopefully this level of customer support continues going forward as I also took out a service plan with Vertu covering the next four years or so.
