A car for all drivers
The staff were very professional and polite. Whilst we couldn't agree on the original car I had enquired about I di eventuallly buy a vehicle. This is the second car I have puchased from this staff (originally Bristol street and now Vertu) where I have gone in for one vehicle and ended up buying a different car (in my opinion a better car).

Make sure you talk everything through. If you want some petrol in the car before you leave, they will charge you for it. If you buy a new car, apparently it doesn't come with floor mats. You can buy some through them and pay £400 for the protection package.

Horrendous expiernce
What a mess buying my car has been.
We applied for their finance and was told that we was accepted in a set rate. We then went home happy with the purchase. Day later then get told that we needed a guarantor and that the finance hadn't been accepted despite being told it had been!!!!
We then struggled sorting that out and then after passing through the details for the guarantor we then had a call from a different sales person saying that we could try with another finance company for the same APR. Passed it to them and got accepted first time with no guarantor .
I dont see why we got lied to about the original acceptance and then also messed about with a guarantor when the other finance company was happy with us without one.
Only reason we are still purchasing is because we love the car but will never be coming back here again!
Do not take out finance with them, Wish we had got a bank loan!

Amazing customer service

Absolutely fabulous customer service from start to finish from George. From going through initial application to collecting the car. Even set it all up and explained the features thoroughly. The whole process was smooth and excellent with no pressure at all. Definitely worth a trip.

Daniel was so helpful
Daniel helped me purchase my Nisan Leaf and was amazing ! I made the final purchase on the Friday and by the Monday Daniel had organised a driver for my car to be picked up and driven to me on the Wednesday ! The car arrived spotless and Daniel helped me with the basics over the phone to as I had never driven an automatic or electric car before.
It also only cost £120 for my car to be delivered from Derby to West Lancashire which I thought was really good as you get the first 30 miles free!
I had never driven an automatic before and was worried with collecting it and driving back from Derby so this was perfect for me

We recently purchased a used car from Vertu Derby, and after a very difficult experience with another dealership in Castle Donington, we were understandably quite anxious about buying again. However, our experience this time couldn’t have been more different.
From start to finish, Regan was absolutely fantastic. He was patient, professional, and incredibly understanding of all our concerns. Fantastic & Helpful Service
On the 9th April 2026 I dropped off my Nissan Ariya Motability car to Vertu Nissan Derby for its second yearly service.
I was met by Sophie Campbell who signed me in and arranged a loan Nissan Qashqai for to use while my car was being looked at.
Sophie was absolutely fantastic and very helpful.
On me coming back to Nissan later on that day to collect my Nissan Ariya I was met by Adam Ali who I first met in 2025 on my first vehicle service.
Adam as always was fantastic and very helpful.
Both Sophie & Adam are a great asset to Vertu Nissan Derby and represent the company at a very high standard.
I would highly recommend others to use Vertu Nissan Derby as I would be using them again .
