The wait for our new Toyota Corolla was a lengthy one. During that time we had exemplary service and regular, honest and open communication from the dealership. Every time we’ve called for an update, we’ve been received as if we were the only customer in the world. Everyone, from the Sales and General Manager to James Thomas, our sales adviser made themselves accessible, and treated us with courtesy, while dealing with all matters to our total satisfaction. The car itself is a total joy to drive, and we have an open invitation to revisit the sales team at any time if we’d like some advanced feature to be demonstrated or explained. Vertu has been the best new-car buying experience we’ve ever had, by a long measure, far better than Perry’s Ford or JCT600 Volkswagen. Well done.

Visited today in view of purchasing a new Yaris and the reception was terrible, one female attendant did try and even printed a PRICELIST off to view, but the younger female did not seem intrested at all, almost could not be bothered. Walked out in disgust. Maybe this is the way of the world now, but I will not accept it. Went round the corner and purchased a car,a Yaris I might add, from another dealer. All of what I have said can be verified.

Vertu Toyota Chesterfield- I expected far more from what I thought was a reputable dealership. Stressful purchase.
Miscommunication leaving me without any warranty cover at all for a 3yr old car! I don't know any reputable company that would not offer basic 3 months warranty as standard and extended warranty should be additional. You can get 3 months from a backstreet garage!. Absolutely disgraceful.
The car developed faulty camera within 3 weeks of purchase and they refused to pay for replacement even though it was discussed that a camera was ESSENTIAL for the purchase to go ahead. After challenge and me being called a nightmare in an email clearly not intended for me, I was offered a paltry £100 which will hardly cover the cost of labour at a main dealership, let alone part costs for a new camera. I am not prepared to pay anything extra to repair a faulty camera that they should sort! The company seems oblivious of the customer rights as covered by the Consumer Rights act 2015, which clearly states a fault should be repaired if it occurs within 6 months of purchase, with or without a warranty!
I'd avoid at all costs. I cant be bothered continuing dialogue with this company. £100 is an insult. They are extremely rude and unprofessional as evidenced by referring to customers in a derogatory manner in internal emails. If this is how they deal with customer challenge maybe a course on customer care is in order? The customer is NOT always right at this company
If you do deal with Vertu, probably best to get everything in writing, as any verbal discussions that occurred are not acknowledged. And double check everything to make sure you know what is covered.
Also check reviews before dealing with Vertu as some dealerships appear to have happy customers
