New car purchase
Recently visited Vertu Hereford to look at some in stock VW Tiguans, We were looked after by India who had good knowledge of the product and listened to our requirements before finding us an available vehicle that was a great fit for those requirements, as the in stock vehicles were not quite right for us. India kept us updated on the progress of our new vehicles delivery date and gave a detailed handover when the day came.

We purchased a VW ID.4 on 01/03/26 and, so far, we are very pleased. It’s a dream to drive and we haven’t experienced any issues to date. The OHME charger installation was straightforward, and communication throughout the process—from both VW and OHME—was excellent.
A big thank you to Jordan Payne, and especially to Krystian Burzawa, who was incredibly helpful & patient during our test drives. They were both professional, patient, and supportive in helping us choose the right car.
I would definitely recommend Vertu VW Hereford.

India could not do enough to help me find the perfect car! I’m so grateful for all her hard work and patience. They accommodated any requests where they could, and made the vehicle collection memorable for our little girl by putting a big red bow on the van. We would certainly recommend them. I have been using this dealership for around 15 years, and I happily travel 1.5 hours each way because of the consistently excellent service.

Extremely poor post-service assistance.
Had my car serviced 8 days ago. Yesterday, emission warning light came on. Phoned Vertu Hereford. First appointment for diagnostic was 7th April, even so soon after paying for a service.
Asked for loan car, so that appointment would move to 20th April, about six weeks after the service. Also given approx cost of diagnostic - in excess of £150. So for a fault occurring so soon after a service, the follow up customer care is pretty poor, diplomatically speaking.
Asked if the car can be driven, response was 'I wouldn't know'.
Not the best experience from a main dealer.......
Due to excess delay for an appointment, car fault was rectifiec by another specialist company after just 4 days.

A very disappointing experience!
Called the Volkswagen dealer in Hereford to enquire about an ID Buzz, wanted to see 2 colours on offer but it was difficult because they had to get the cars to site, I wanted to test drive a second hand car to get the feel but this was to difficult as in 'we can offer one but it would only be very short' quote. Everything was too much trouble, too many problems and no solutions.
My business may not be important to you but it is to me!
I visited another dealer locally and purchased a new ID Buzz GTX with a contrasting excellent service.
I would not recommend this dealer.

Great Experience
Being over a four hour drive away I was sent a couple of well detailed videos of the van. When I went down there for a test drive, the van was just as described and Matthew and Darren were great to deal with.

From the first contact point with Hereford VW till collection of the vehicle was simple, straight forward and when the collection date had to be brought forward it was accommodated with no trouble.

I found a vehicle and asked for a walk…
I found a vehicle and asked for a walk around video, this was picked up within the hour and they were in contact straight away. A video was sent by the sales person Matthew and we were in contact straight away.
I part exchanged my car for the vehicle whereby I was given the price I wanted for it. Arrangements were made to come and see the vehicle and we drove the 2 hours down to Hereford.
It’s a busy dealership, but the vehicle was parked up and ready to be collected. We had taken our dog with us and the sales team were brilliant and looked after him while we completed the test drive.
I did point out some issues with the vehicle which I would not have seen on the video but that’s always going to be a risk. The sales manager did say they would pay for the issues which he was good to his word.
Upon getting the vehicle home and checked over another issue came up and both the sales team and the manager were spoken to. They once again agreed to pick up the bill and authorised the work to be completed.
I have to say the sales team are brilliant and their customer service is amazing.
