AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

What an absolute shocking company to deal with!!!
I've received a few invoices from Fedex asking for payment of a delivery charge, & now threatening debt collector letters.
I have emailed, live chatted, facebook messages & absolutely zero response from Verve house.
I have also contacted Fedex & they replied with a 'generic email, basically saying that I need to pay it!! I am just going to pay it because I am getting nowhere
Avoid this company like the plague

CROOKS

TRASH COMPANY. AVOID!

This company is a bunch of crooks. I had the same issue as all of the other reviews. Verve House didn't send my sign, made me purchase not through Etsy but through their shady website, didn't send, accused me of missing contact (They didn't), accused me of misspelling my email address ( I didn't), told me my item was held up and they did have tracking information... I finally raised issue with my credit card company and they refunded me.

Then Verve House accused ME to my credit card company of buyer fraud! I'm trying to cancel the whole mess but they're playing dumb and asking for a letter from my bank saying I did pay. Um, what?

Also the product itself finally arrived and didn't light up plus had about three adapters and exposed wiring that a firefighter friend said was dangerous and probably illegal to buy in America.

Edited to add LOL I definitely asked for a replacement, refund, cancellation at least 10 times. This response is hilarious.

The customer has labelled the company as crooks, whilst placing a chargeback against an order after it was received, with no request of a replacement or a refund. We replace or refund every single sign that is faulty, and so far there has been no request for a replacement, let alone a complaint that it does not turn on.

Unfortunately, the bank (not our company) judges buyer fraud on the grounds that an item is ordered, delivered, and a chargeback on an item not being received is placed. This is seen as a criminal claim, which is unfortunately out of our hands without proof from the customers bank to confirm otherwise.

Should the customer send this, this can be resolved.

Dreadful - AVOID

So so so bad. Sent the wrong sign twice. Still haven’t rectified since and the order was made in July 2020. They are impossible to contact. The reviews on their website are obviously approved before they are posted as I left a negative review on there which does not seem to have appeared. Avoid at all costs.

My Experience.

I ordered from them on 6th Jan. Order No. 1527.

They led me to believe they were a UK Company and that my product would be coming from there. While putting together my Order they were quick and helpful on the Chat facility on line. I placed the Order and was assured it would arrive between 18 and 23rd Jan.

I have contacted them several times via their on line form and the on line Chat facility since, not once have they replied. I have asked them for information as to when my Order would be despatched. Nothing!

This morning after waiting for over 15 minutes on the on line chat facility, where it clearly says we reply immediately, I gave up and decided to check on line Reviews. To my dismay I found the Reviews on here, indicating that it is probably a Scam!

I went back to their on line and found their email address and have emailed saying that as they are in breach of the Contract that I now wish to CANCEL the Order and have requested a refund.

I will keep you updated with the response I get.

UPDATE.

After my email above I (remarkably) received an email, apologising for delays, etc., and saying they had received nothing from me! Surprise, surprise! I replied and told them, thankfully, I had copies of everything apart from their online form, which I completed and received no reply to, (which was why I copied everything from thereonin) emails and their chat which I also had not received any reply or notification whatsoever. I again reiterated my choice to CANCEL my Order.
They again replied very promptly, saying misunderstandings etc. etc., and
"You are welcome to have a cancellation and refund, but we would then need to ensure the order is held and confirmed by Fedex that this will be returned to us, something that shouldn't take too long at all 🙂. As soon as that happens, we will let you know and confirm your cancellation"
which I thought very odd? Anyway, yet again I gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent them an email as below.
"I assume you hold pictures of the completed product? If you let me see it and confirm just how long and when I would receive it, then I may reconsider, but this would need to be by return and confirmation in writing of when I would receive it. As you say it is with your couriers, then you, as the purchaser have the authority to request this information.

If you cannot prove the order is with your courier and give me a reasonable, guaranteed delivery date then I will confirm my Cancellation."

I eventually received a reply from them on 26th Jan saying
"Just to let you know, your sign is now reaching the front of the queue and you will have tracking for your order sent out to you automatically via Fedex within the next coming days. You will then receive your sign a few days after this."
Well surprise, surprise again. Here we are a week later and again NOTHING!

In accordance with my rights, I have today CANCELLED MY ORDER due to their breach of Contract and requested repayment in full by return.

Please stay away from this company!!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking service.
Item was late and I was not told it was being shipped from China.
On top of this once arrived it is of poor quality. Lettering unclear and glue showing around edges.

On trying to contact the company Verve House, I am getting no assistance whatsoever. I’ve had no response. I just want to return it and get a refund. I am now getting letters from FedEx asking for money due to delivery costs not being paid!

I will be contacting trading standards and my credit card company.
This so called company needs shutting down and dealing with legally

Placing my order with Neon-Verve had a positive outcome !

After placing my order with Neon-Verve. I immediately checked trustpilot and other reviews on this company.
I was really disappointed to find negative reviews including scams mentioned against this company I’ve just placed an order for £740 !
Their website was fantastic and easy to place your order, but online chat option didn’t put my mind at ease at the time. So I contacted Customer Services. They responded to all my quires within 12 hour period, Alice always very helpful. And checked my order requirements on a number of occasions.
My employment is Exporting/Exporting. I threw all the legalities at them. They explained the past reviews was consequence of not having their past procedures right.
So I took their word and trust, ensuring I had everything legally covered on email conversations if things didn’t work out right. Or I received incorrect item or arrived damaged. Price included Importing Tariffs.
They processed my order in China. Shipped (Airfreighted) to London Heathrow within 8 days. I was given tracking information throughout. DHL delivered following day after customs clearance ( I had to pay £4.95 for this service).
I received a lot earlier than expected. The packaging was of the highest standard for such a fragile/light item.
I’m very happy with my purchase. The Neon Lighting is built to the hightest standards, looks great ! And would not have any issues ordering from this company again.

Reason I’ve placed this extensive review. Is that the online negative reviews made my experience with this company a lot more stressed than it needed to be.

My advise is to email Verve House (contact info at bottom of their website) if you have any concerns.
This company might of had procedures issues in the past. My experience was different.

Nice sign but Delivery delayed + poor customer service

This seems to be the only place where verve house gives out tracking numbers so maybe they'll send me one if I leave a negative review like all the others...my order number is #1324

I ordered a sign on 25th of October and still have not received a tracking number. I have messaged them 3 times on Etsy. I have had responses to all but, each time they say the sign is with their courier and will be passed on to the delivery company once it has reached the top of the queue. They said it should reach the top of the queue this week. It has now been a week and still no update....

I was promised before ordering that I would have the sign within 3 weeks. It is now one month and it hasn't even been shipped yet.

Just to update, I sent them an email last Friday stating I wanted a refund or a tracking number to be sent within 24 hours. First thing Monday morning I was sent a tracking number and it was only being shipped that day. Today, Wednesday, only 2 days later I received the sign.

The sign is of good quality and I am happy enough with it, however, it is not exactly what I asked for. I asked for the acrylic background to be square and it is cut to shape. I also requested the wiring to be positioned on the bottom left of the sign and it is on the right. I requested a 3 prong UK plug to be fitted and I received a 2 prong EU plug so I had to go and buy a plug converter.

Overall I'm happy with the sign itself even though it is not exactly what I ordered. But due to the delay in shipping, the delayed responses from their customer support team and the amount of money spent to receive a sign that's not exactly what I ordered, I can't give this company anymore than 2 stars.

Verve House Are Incompetent Liars!

Dear customers,
Just to clarify the bogus reply of Verve House on my previous review:
1. The customer service agent who replied to me ONCE per WEEK, if lucky, in the past 3 months, sent me the Fedex tracking code with the shipping ADRESS in AMMAN, JORDAN, while I am living in IN MILAN, ITALY!
So now, that you have FINALLY found the correct tracking (and i see it for the first time today), I am NO LONGER INTERESTED in your item (as I have also mentioned to the absolutely incompetent customer service representative) and all the problems with Fedex are your problems, not mine, as I have indicated my address, the date I needed it to be delivered (before October 10, 2020!) and all the rest correctly!
2. I also have proof of every conversation with your bogus company and as have previously mentioned I am not interested in ANY ITEM from your TERRIBLE company and I highly advice to STAY AWAY to every customer!
3. Moreover, I did not need to contact your company in the past 4 weeks, as you were supposed to solve the PROBLEM, not me, and as you have correctly mentioned, ZERO attempts to FIX YOUR MISTAKE have been made!

Your item has been with our courier partner, Fedex, for months, and they have attempted to deliver to you 6 times, in which case they have not been able to. We have specifically called them today however for them to attempt again, as the previous occasions they have not been able to. Another bad review for worst company I…

Another bad review for worst company I have ever dealt with .... after ordering in July rcvd a sign in aug that was smashed to smitharines. Next sign didn’t come til 30 Oct with a chinese plug .. seriously what am I meant to do wity that. Been told I’d get some money off for delays still nada. Now 2 lots of shipping charges for a sign that’s as much use as a choc teapot .... not answering emails when I told them about it.. Do not buy from this company ..sham

Awful customer service and badly…

Awful customer service and badly presented product.
They ship direct from China so expect st least 1 month before arrival, ignore their b*llsh*t tracking system. It literally came wrapped in a ripped up mattress inside a box that had that many exposed nails you’d be lucky to not stab yourself.
I was disappointed with the first light, they sent out another. But unfortunately I was left disappointed again. The quality is shocking.
I got charged import fees on both, which they did end up sorting out for me.

It seems to me these guys are trying to keep costs down by cutting out the middle man. The plug attachments aren't to standard.
I would recommend spending a bit more with a Uk based neon company that will attach proper fittings and at least package the product in a presentable manner.

Verve house... it’s time you took. It if these negative reviews and started to make some changes rather than asking us to take them down.

I have upgraded you from 1 to 2 stars for paying the import fees.

However the whole magic of ordering an awesome neon sign was ruined by your bad communication skills and awful packaging.

This is a scam!
Do not ever buy from this website!
Not only did they not deliver my order but they also stopped replying on the emails i have sent.
The phone number on the website is not working.
And on top customer service ever!

Be wary of this company

Made & paid for a neon sign beginning of July 2020, for my husbands birthday 27th July, website stated it would be with me by 20th July, also believed this company are based in London UK, they are not they are in China, eventually received the sign 6/7weeks later, which was incorrect, promised a replacement, advised this was back with the courier at end of August, after numerous emails asking where the product is I’ve had nil response! Avoid this company like the plague, they have my money, I have no neon sign & I cannot contact them. Less than impressed as they are not cheap. No idea how to seek compensation or refund. Order 1052 should verve house be interested in this review & contacting me, you have my email.

Awful Customer Experience

Awful Customer Experience

We ordered a bespoke sign from Verve House and initially they responded really well and worked with us to get the right design.

Very quickly the customer experience has gone downhill starting with the expected delivery of the sign.
It was delivered over 3 weeks late with no reason as to why, trying to get hold of their customer support team via chat or email is like trying to get a baby to answer a question.

We realised the reason for the delay once the product was delivered last week from China. However when we opened the box, the sign was the wrong design and colour and we have been trying to get in touch with the company to get this rectified. No one is actively getting back to us to try and resolve this situation and it is very unprofessional.

We have also received a customs bill for the sign which requires us to pay an additional fee. This is completely out of order to make your own customer pay for when we have already paid for the sign.

I would avoid using Verve house altogether, they seem to respond only when they want to and cannot provide support when things go wrong.

DO NOT USE!

I’ve had a bad experience with this company. Firstly my sign arrived wrong, have been told a new sign has been made but never arrived so I am now left with a faulty sign, and no refund. They never respond to any emails and the customer service is terrible. DO NOT USE

Apologies for the confusion here, but we did not receive any new email from you since the one we replied to you last week? Our apologies if you have sent any further message to us over the last few days and have not received any response, that is completely unacceptable!

However, you shouldn't have paid any import charge, and no charge is required with ANY of our signs. We pay that automatically with our corporate account with Fedex, so for them to send this to you is a COMPLETE mistake, for which we will now lodge a complaint with them on.

We have processed your refund for £25 and your new replacement sign has already been in production.

Vervehouse.co IMO complete shysters..avoid at all costs.

Ordered beginning of july and received nowt. They sent various emails promising item was on its way. Even sent us proof of tracking but all bogus. Still, never mind, I have the internet bogus police onto them no doubt knocking on their appartment door in London soon. Paid by Visa so all good; my bank has refunded my £120 and are gonna bust them wide open.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SHYSTERS..DONT DO IT...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Utter nonsense! You have not replied to my recent emails whatsoever after telling me my item was sent and you guaranteed next day. That was over 2 weeks ago. Utter rubbish. Absolutely dreadful company

Absolutely dreadful company, don’t touch them with a barge pole. Empty promises about delivery of a wedding present, when they finally did send a sign it was the wrong word (which they say has never happened before....yeah, right). When I queried this I got one message back from them and now they’ve gone silent. Yesterday I had an invoice for £33.44 from Fedex for custom charges. Do not do not do not use this company.
If you read this Verve house, you’re not going to get rid of us easily, we want our money back and someone to collect this useless sign within 14 days from today or I will dispose of it.
Update.....the correct sign finally arrived 5months late. I’m now getting letters from a debt collecting company because they haven’t paid import duty. Not answering my email or Instagram messages.

Absolute bunch of cowboys

Absolute bunch of cowboys. I placed an order on 31st July and I have still not received it. I have rang and emailed and be given excuses and asked by DHL to pay more delivery even though delivery was supposed to be included in the price. I contacted Verve to let them know and was told it was all sorted and it will be with you shortly and now they have given up responding to me at all. I wish I had a checked this site before I handed over £130 which I’m now fighting to get back.
