Won't do medication before midday

Beeston branch have decided that they won't take any medicine orders before 12PM. You're a paid for vet not a doctor's. I have enough on in my day that I don't want to be watching the clock for when to call like at a GP! Outrageous considering we're paying and you phone up regardless. Sort it out.

Formal Complaint Regarding Hygiene and Examination Standards

I am writing to formally complain about the service I received during my recent visit to your Vets for Pets practice in Chadwell Heath, where I brought my cat for a check-up.

This was my first time using your services, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.

Before my appointment, a puppy was being examined in the consultation room. When I was called in, I immediately noticed that the examination table was wet and covered in dog hair. Even the vet had visible dog hair on his clothing. I was then asked to place my cat on the same surface.

This raised serious concerns about hygiene and cross-contamination.

Cats are particularly sensitive to stress, smells, and potential infections, and allowing one animal to be examined on a surface that had just been used by another animal without proper disinfection is both unprofessional and unsafe. There could easily have been fleas, ticks, bacteria, or disease transferred from the puppy to my cat.

A veterinary clinic is a medical environment and should follow strict hygiene standards between every patient. A simple wipe-down is not sufficient.

I was extremely concerned to see that no thorough cleaning or sanitising took place before my cat was examined.

To make matters worse, I paid £75 for this consultation and the prescribed medication. For this price, I expected a clean, safe, and professional service. Instead, I left feeling worried about my cat’s safety rather than reassured.

I would appreciate a full investigation into this matter, confirmation of your hygiene and cleaning procedures between patients, and an explanation of why these standards were not followed during my appointment. I also believe this warrants a review of the fee I was charged, given that the service provided fell well below acceptable standards.

excellent service

Both our cats have been looked after by you since 12 weeks old and they are now 5 years old. We are on a animal care policy which includes flea and worming medication and an annual health check and vaccinations. It is very easy to use and ensures our cats are looked after. Never had any problems and the staff at the Hucknall practice we use are always very professional and friendly.

Vets 4 pets complete care health plan

It was easy to book an appointment for annual vaccinations at a time convenient for me. I was seen promptly, the vaccinations were administered easily, & the vet even did a quick health check which I was not expecting. This was all covered by my monthly vets4pet care plan & I think that this provides excellent value for money, & reassurance that basic care is covered.

If I could give no stars I would!

If I could give no stars I would!! Absolutely apalling service!!! Brought my sick rabbit to the Guildford branch and given antibiotics that did nothing. Was told if he was still poorly to come back which I did only to be asked what my concern was. It was obvious to anyone that the poor rabbit was not able to breathe properly and needed urgent care. Was palmed off with more antibiotics and told if they didn’t help then to bring him the next day when he was already suffering!I was told by reception that he would be down as an emergency. The next day I messaged to say he wasn’t doing great at all and needed to be put to sleep then to be told to bring him down for two o’clock when I had been supposedly down for emergency! Then I was told to bring him the next day!! Absolute waste of time money and suffering for my poor boy!! And the vets weren’t very empathetic either looked awkward when I was in tears and didn’t know how to give me any comfortable words. Never use again!! Wasted too much time now my baby is gone!!
