I recently had a deeply frustrating…

I recently had a deeply frustrating experience with Vetsource Home Delivery. My vet assured me the medication for my kitty would arrive in a couple of days. However, I soon received an email stating it was delayed, with no further updates.

When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the medication wouldn't be available until on or before 5/30—far beyond the initial promise. This delay is particularly distressing as my kitty’s upcoming surgery depends on this medication to stabilize her thyroid issues.

The lack of accurate stock information and transparency about delivery times is a glaring issue with Vetsource Home Delivery. Turning a supposed 2-3 day delivery into a possible month-long wait is unacceptable. While the customer service representative was understanding, the company’s system is clearly flawed.

Vetsource Home Delivery should provide clear warnings when medications are not immediately available to set proper expectations for delivery times. The inconsistency and poor communication could have had serious consequences for my pet's health. Due to this experience, I will be seeking local options for future medication needs to ensure my kitty receives timely care.

Frauds! I see I join many with lousy reviews on…

I see I join many with lousy reviews on this fraudulent company I've already used them several times but I went in today to order. according to their website, most of the food options i was looking for (prescription) have a banner at the top that says SALE with auto ship. I clicked all the right things but the the price woud revert back to regular price After three people on the phone, they tell me that it is only able to be used on a first time autoship order...I said where does it say that? I finally get directed to the very bottom of the page that says, in small letters, Promotions Then I have to click to open. Who, when ordering, would someone scroll to the bottom of the page to find that? Bait and Switch on the prices. Some could have just completed their order and not paid close attention NOWHERE does it say there are only for first time autoship customers Fraud, Liars, Bait and switch, false advertising, add any more you can think of...should be illegal One time on hold, I opened Chewy and on the item when you click on an itemit says in big red letter and numbers describing the limitations This review does not even begin to touch how angry I am at their fraudulent site. I will never use them again

I wish I could give negative stars

I wish I could give negative stars. My first order they sent the incorrect amount of meds. They were supposed to send 3 months worth but only sent me one and was more expensive than Chewy but my vet was adamant about using her pharmacy because she had a issue with fraudulent pills from an online pharmacy supposedly and if I do not use their pharmacy I have to go in and pick up the prescription and send it myself. I’ve never had issues with chewy or VetRx sending fraudulent meds and did not know she was using vetsource which is still an online pharmacy. I was under the impression that she would be sending the meds to me from her office that she filled. All I had to do was call or email the vet office and they would send me a link for check out. I somehow got set up on auto ship and canceled the order when I got the email for the next shipment but they didn’t cancel the auto ship which I didn’t catch. I caught the next email saying a shipment was being sent but was expecting my pups Prozac so looked at it later on to find it was flea meds which I did not order. I called my vet office to figure out what was going on and was told it was not coming from her office. So I called vet source on 4/18/24 to cancel and figure out how they got ordered. When I canceled the order in February there was no info saying I had to call to cancel any autoship and I was still under the impression that this was somehow connected to my vets office not a online company. I’m pretty upset because the cost of the med was a surprise expense. I’m very low fixed income and this was my entire budget for food for the month. I had no way to pay for this and it incured overdraft fees in my account on top of it. They said they might not be able to cancel the flea meds because it might have already shipped but to call back for a refund when the meds showed up. I was irritated but told they would issue a refund. I called back when the meds showed up and spoke to someone who told me they had already done all they could and could not give me a refund. When I asked how this happen the person was infuriating and kept telling me they had sent out multiple emails which covered them legally and because I didn’t respond to the emails they could charge me for the meds. I didn’t see the emails because they send out a lot of spam emails and I was not expecting anything from them after I canceled the med other than my dogs Prozac which I was waiting on. I ended up talking to a manager and he was able to refund me after having a breakdown over the whole issue. I will not use this service ever again. Their website and emails are deceptive in how things are worded. I was under the impression from my vet that this pharmacy was the office pharmacy and they would be sending me the meds so there was no fraudulent pills sent, not an external online company. This experience not only made me never want to use this site again but also changed my vet for misleading me about this company to begin with.

Wish there was a negative star rating

Wish there was a negative star rating. Just received my first order of Vetsulin from Vetsource (because my vet switched online pharmacies). The packaging was laughably insufficient to keep the Vetsulin cool and it arrived with "Prolonged heat exposure". Will switch to Chewy's today. Now if I can just get my money back.

Fraudulent Activity

The company fraudulently charged my credit card. When I asked for a receipt of this transaction, the uneducated service rep told me that the shipping update was my receipt. He couldn’t produce my transaction receipt. He further told me that I’m on auto delivery. I never signed up for that nor have I ever done business with them! He couldn’t care less of my issue and couldn’t get me off the phone any faster. Do NOT purchase from them!

I would not even give 1 star if I didn’t have to! Order was placed during a promo for initiating a new auto ship order. Order required a written prescription to be mailed to the company. It took a few days to receive the written prescription from my vets office.

They cancelled the order after 7 days. There was no warning of it being cancelled in a certain amount of time on my receipt email whatsoever.even if I had received and mailed the written prescription the next day.. odds are they wouldn’t have received them in time anyway.

When called to inquire.. I was told the order was cancelled after 7 days and that the only thing they could do was cancel my auto ship going forward. I said that’s really disappointing regarding missing out on the discount and the only response I got was, “Yea we are no longer running the promo.” Not even a sorry.

Will NEVER attempt to use this company again!

Customer service representatives were…

Customer service representatives were helpful over the phone but it took their email support team more then three days to respond.

I was trying to set up an autofill prescription for my dogs flea medication and was charged three times. One charge was reversed but the other two have gone through. I only needed one dose of flea medicine - I never authorized two orders / charges.

At this rate it's less of a pain to just go directly to the vets office.

AWFUL COMPANY

Placed order after hours on 2/27, pet died on morning of 2/28 called that afternoon. Customer service stated there was no way to cancel order. Order had not shipped, no returns, and I just recieved email order shipped today. 5 days after I called to cancel. VERY TERRIBLE COMPANY!

terrible customer service

I had placed an order for prescription dog food on 1/7. I got a message on 1/9 saying that a label was created but then did not get any updates from there. After a few days I checked the tracking status and saw that it still said label created. Since I was low on my dogs food I reached out to their customer service to see if there was anything they could see or do. They said they could see that it left the warehouse on the 9th (even though it was never scanned by FedEx) and I would have to check back in 6 business days. In that time frame I ran out of food and had to go to the vet to by more to hold us over which is more expensive than ordering it. I called customer service today and they mentioned that since yesterday was a holiday they still couldn’t do anything and that I would have to wait a few more days to see if the food that is still not scanned in shows up.

Not once during these two calls did someone offer a solution to help me get the product that I was order. I was pretty much told I was out of luck and I had to wait even though the issue is not on my end. No one apologized for the delay, offered to get another order placed to replace the missing bag or expedite a new bag because of the mix up. I would have happily payed for two bags if the second one arrived but due to the lack of quality customer service I will no longer be buying from VetSource. The supposed “ease” of being able to order online and have it shipped to be is outweighed by the negative customer service.

Will not let you cancel. Even if your pet dies. They have excuse after excuse why you cannot cancel. Do not give them your credit card. Real nightmare.

.i usually don't fall for bait and…

.i usually don't fall for bait and switch, but it was the first time I had used this company. They mailed me a coupon for a 30% discount, so I ordered two prescriptions from them. They charged me full price. I called several times, and each time they assured me they would post a credit to my account. I never got the 30% discount.

Terrible customer service

Poor communication between vetsource and my vet. Called to purchase ointment after talking to my animal hospital who said vetsource would have the new prescription , vetsource says they have no idea what ointment prescription I am talking about so, (very rude receptionist). I called my vet again and got name of meds etc. Called vetsource again to place order but was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I gave up. 2 days of useless phone calls to achieve nothing, there has to be a better process, vetsource is recommended to the customer by my vet supposedly to help take the prescription pressure off of them. Not convenient for the customer though.Would not recommend vet source to anyone unfortunately.

Misleading and deceptive posted prices

Misleading and deceptive posted prices. AutoShip price for product is shown as being less money than single purchase price. I was charged the single purchase price for my AutoShip and called to ask why - Customer Service says that the discount is only on your first AutoShip order, yet the product page shows AutoShip at a lower price, and even their AutoShip Cancellation page states that AutoShip pricing is lower. All other companies offer lower pricing for AutoShip, but Vet Source posts one thing and does another. Classic bait and switch.

A mistake was made in my street name so…

A mistake was made in my street name so my order was returned to Vetsource. When I called customer service made the correction to my street name that was off by one letter. I assume I should be upset that USPS couldn’t figure out the error but customer service at Vetsource was rude and didn’t offer any solutions such as returning the box when they receive it! I was told I’d have to reorder and repay for a $58 item. When I tried to chat with them my chat was cut off. I will never use this company again!

Amazing customer service!

Vet source has consistently been amazing with customer service. I haven’t had to wait more than 3 min on hold and they always help me out with my question right away. Today I let them know my cat had to be euthanized and to see if they would possibly take back the prescription food I have unopened. They credited me the food price and said I could donate to my animal shelter of choice. SOO appreciative of their support and kindness!
