We are Ford Retirees
We are Ford Retirees. We have sent them everything they have asked for and they still won’t pay us our healthcare benefit premium payment. We have spent hundreds of hours dealing with them. They should be investigated by the USG! Where is the money going?
This is the worst company in the world
This is the worst company in the world. It’s now 12:30. I’ve been on the phone Since 9:30. Ivebeetransferred to two in licensed reps THAT CANT HELP because they aren’t licensed. I have a 12 o’clock appt with them,,,I made this appt a month and a half ago. This is not fair. Thanks Eversource. Can’t even get the $2500 “benefit” you promised.
I really wish I could give them a zero!
I really wish I could give them a zero!
Every time we call them we are mislead or getting wrong information.
I believe they are scamming retires and shame on OPERS for hiring or contracting with them .
Only because GE makes me…
All I can say is that until you get the right person getting resolution is a nightmare. Without going into detail 6 calls and over 6 1/2 hours spent. Not all one date Finally resolved 11/02 I hope. Sad
This was the worst customer experience…
This was the worst customer experience ever and by far. I have spent close to a year, have spoken to dozens of individuals and no one can resolve a very simple issues. Promises are constantly made and no one ever follows through. I have called and faxed and emailed over and over again. I follow all instructions but never does anything get resolved. No one with any reason ever read the dozens of documents I have submitted. The initial notice I recovered came late from via benefits, never allowing me an opportunity to submit a claim on time. If they read it, they would see I made a reasonable request. This claim was related to my dad who passed away last year. What a shame to treat a veteran this way, and not acknowledge he should still be entitled to these benefits. If you read reviews, please be careful. Absolutely the worst customer experience ever. It is unbelievable, but I would retract this review if someone of authority would look into the matter and help to resolve. Please beware.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with
I've been trying to get my Moms uncashed checks returned for 10 months now I've talked to 20 people and resolution They hold onto your money and never give you solutions I would never do business with them
Worst Company I’ve ever dealt with
Worst Company I’ve ever dealt with! The website is completely user unfriendly. We’ve been trying for two weeks to get money reimbursed, but the website never excepts our password so that we can get in to upload our information. We’ve talked to numerous people and have a ticket number. That was Wednesday and now we’re told we won’t have an answer until Tuesday.
HORRIBLE COMPANY
This is such a difficult company to work with and the plans are OUTRAGEOUS in price.......it costs 3 times as much to use the same plans outside of this company.
RIPPING US OFF!
Can't get MedSup premiums paid monthly.
They're fine for online, one-of-a-kind disbursements. BUT getting Medicare Supplemental Insurance premiums paid monthly is very, very difficult. Service has frequent line drops after long lead-in. Do they want to keep my former employer's money by preventing me from getting it paid for totally reasonable expenses such as Medicare Supplemental Insurance by a major insurer?
The only way I got service was to complain to the Better Business Bureau. Try it!
Worse customer service
Worse customer service. I had an issue to upload a receipt that is required for my debit card charges and the app only gave me message - Error. please try again later. I use the in app help function to log a ticket. The representative kept resolving the ticket without fixing my issue. The respond back for 1 ticket was there is no issue (without even reaching out to me) and the other ticket was I called and left message to the user (and issue still persist). I had to call their toll free and the the representative on the phone - Bobbie appear to be taking the call with monotone. When I brief him with my issue, his first respond was there is no issue with their system. He cannot help me. When I explained further, he then said its an app issue and for me to just log in and log out, then keep repeating that he cannot do much. When I told him, I've log in and out for almost 5 days now and I am able to upload 1 receipt but not the other. He then point me to the web and repeat again he cannot do anything. By this time, if you are a customer you might be already getting a little agitated with how little interest a customer service rep is trying to help you with your issue. I had to hang up eventually before I lost my patient. Now I am still having issue with uploading my receipt and my card is suspended.
This just show how bad the service this company had.
Scam company that beats you out of your money to keep for themseves
I enrolled via benefits and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I contributed money every month to the account and I used the money to pay for my medical appointment bills. They requested my receipts and when I uploaded the receipts, they denied them and suspended the card. I have uploaded itemized receipts for two appoints that gave the reason for treatment and diagnosis, and they still denied the payment. I have over $1800 available and now they are telling me to request for reimbursement after I pay for the service again. Well, the money that's in the account is the money that I pay every month. Why do I have to pay twice? I cancelled my enrollment with the company, however, I have up until May 2022 to request for reimbursement, and march 15, 2022 to use funds that are suspended. This company is a scam and they are set up to take money from those that are less fortunate that need the structure of contributing to an account to have money available to pay for medical expenses. I have tried to resolve their request on several occasions and they are just trying to keep my money. I would like to be reimbursed the funds that I was not afforded the opportunity to use, as I do have medical treatments that I need and now I have to reschedule due not being able to pay for the the treatment and this company holding the suspension to keep the balance of the money until the account expired.
Nothing but a hassle
I have been trying to get reimbursement for my secondary insurance premiums. After sending 3 types of documentation for each months premium and a phone call where I talked to 3 different people, my claims are still being denied. This shouldn't be that hard. What more do they possibly want? I'm wondering if they misused the money that was supposed to go to reimbursing people!
Horrible Experiences
The process to obtain reimbursement of MY funds has been horrendous even though I have submitted so many documents the website will not allow me to upload any more and the “help” desk is unable to assist. Premiums paid out of pocket, at this point, double the amounts deposited by my employer for my reimbursement. Every time you call to discuss the denial you are given different information and a request to resend the same 20 documents you have already sent twice. I know that I am well over 20 phone calls this year…and forget a supervisor calling you back when requested. And when the system no longer allows a website request, send your manual request by registered mail or it will not be received and/or opened by Via Benefits. After filling out one of their automated email surveys I did receive a call from someone that initially sounded somewhat caring but end result was she was going to have the partial funds we have received reviewed as she felt we weren’t deserving. We will be pursuing with legal and regulatory agency notifications at this point. I can’t believe I have to deal with this company for the rest of my life!
Promises, lies and inefficiency
Hopefully future customers in need will read these reviews before going with via benefits. As an Allstate Insurance Co contractor you would think they would care but obviously don’t. Neither about this company or their retirees. Allstate is reimbursed by the health insurance companies for customers selecting them but decide to hold on to the funding we are promised. Neither company will act on these complaints so buyer beware. No accountability by their employees and no one to assist. Excuses, lost or unaccounted for faxes and/or correspondence and delays, delays, delays. If you ever saw John Grisham’s “Rain Maker” you can appreciate the irony.
Vía Benefits is the worst thing that…CHEVRON did to retirees
Vía Benefits is the worst thing that Chevron did to its retirees. Unhelpful middleman. I wish Chevron would pull out from letting this company manage our medical premiums. Via Benefits is unhelpful, thwarts chevron retirees with delight, and robotic on the phone.
For those of you that are having a…
For those of you that are having a horrible experience with Via Benefits let me tell you how to get them to work with you. After three months of unsuccessful complaints to get them to give me my reimbursements, I spoke to my lawyer and I wrote to Via Benefits that I was going to turn over all of my information to the insurance commissioner of the state of Arizona which is where I live and also the state of Utah where they are located and also the state of Minnesota or the 3M company where I worked for is located. After this note miraculously my claims were approved. If you are having continual trouble please put together all of the information and all of the things that you have dealt with and go to the insurance commissioner of the state you live in as well as the state of Utah to get help. These people are horrible to deal with
