Everything worked out fine
Everything worked out fine, allthough it's off season. The Car was in a good shape and clean. Matteo ,who inspected the Car at the return was very helpfull. I highly recommend to rent your Car at viaggiare.

Everything was really more than fine! Except, that we had to pay for a late arrival/pick-up of the car that was not in our hands due to late arrival of the flight. We will rent again!

Avoid at all costs
Took months for them to accept that I hadn't caused damage to the car and agree to refund, at which point they ghosted me! When I left a review explaining the terrible service, they got back in touch, but only to offer me a third of the initial amount. Total scammers - avoid at all costs!

There should be a 0 star option for this lot.
To summarise - terrible service in the airport (Cagliari), waiting nearly 2 hours to collect car (several staff just lazing about in the office). Baby seat provided was totally antiquated and unsuitable. Then was charged for 2 lots of repairs I hadn't caused. When I sent a photo of the damage they contested it saying it wasn't the same car (because there was no number-plate visible). Well, derr, if you take a photo of the wheel you won't see the numberplate. After 12 emails they accepted they'd made an error, then never made the refund and told me I was out of time. Utterly terrible, can't criticise enough!

Your deposit is not safe at Viaggiare
I returned the car and they claimed half a day later several damages. The car was full of damages when I got the car and now they claimed that the damages happened during my rental period. I am absolutely convinced that this is not the case.
The company seems to do this quite often. In this way they claim the whole or a part of your deposit and there is very little you can do about it.
When you rent a car here, take pictures of every detail of the car otherwise your deposit is gone.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. It's a borderline scam company. Don't make the mistake of going for them just because they come out cheaper.
(Edit) the response from them is absolutely hilarious, and in fact the only response I have received becuase they ignored my emails. The tone of the response and its threatening nature should tell you everything you need to know about this company. The fact that the response was a copy paste template response if you look at other reviews is also very telling, when you need a template generic response for bad reviews you know you are a bad company. The last thing I'll be doing is sending them my personal information, they can fellate themselves.)

The rental company
very nice service, the car as desired and in very good condition. Return process was a proper check but quick. Funds from the deposit were available on the card within a day. So all work went smoothly. Maura was very responsive on my inquiries.

Avoid like the plague - unless you enjoy being ripped off
Avoid like the plague. As many have said before, this is a rip off company that makes their money through insurance claims if you don't buy their insurance. The deal seemed good at the time of purchase. But when returning the car, she found some marks somewhere on the bodywork that even her camera could not pick up in a picture. Abd of course mine could not have picked up. They were in a place that is not easily reached other by branches and I did not drive anywhere with branches touching the body work. She also seemed to know in advance where the scratches were going to be as she immediately picked those up. As they know that most people have to catch a plane, they have you over a barrel. The cost: £280 for a virtually invisible non existent scratch. I could have rented with reputable company and spend less in the end. If you enjoy being ripped of, this is the company for you. If you don't stay well clear of that dishonest, disreputable lot.

Advise not to use
Don’t rent a car with this company.
They gave us a faulty car that broke down while we were driving to return it back at the airport. Despite taking out the full insurance package, they provide no service to help in the event of a breakdown. We were left to find, arrange and pay for a local taxi back to the airport from our own pocket. They lied telling us they would pay for the taxi if they found the breakdown to be a fault with the car. Despite that being the case, they are now refusing to because it is not included within the terms.
In short, I’d advise to avoid and pay extra for the more reliable rental companies.
Edit: since I have been accused of slander, I would just like to note for the record that I have made plenty of attempts to call and email this company about the issues noted in my review and that their customer service was abysmal. I have also since contacted them again through the email address they have noted and not received an acknowledgment or reply.
I have not shared my personal details because this is not the appropriate forum to do so. Treat the company’s reply as evidence of how this company handles its customers. 0 accountability and 0 responsibility taken and abysmal customer service.
