Not happy with this rental
Paid full cover and should leave €250 deposit with my corfirmation email. On collecion time told me I am not covered and have to leave €900 deposit. Sounds like scam. Do not recommended for any body. I not happy with this service/renral.

They changed the Deposit amount from €200 to €700
Upon collection of car even though I reserved the car months before at an agreed deposit of €200.
When I questioned this at collection I was basically told something about new owners and to pay the extra amount or move on. Great when you arrive after flying 14 hrs from Sydney to Dubai and then 6 more hrs, Dubai to Cattania . Tired. They knew they had me.
No help with GPS. I had to drive left side of car on right side of road to Taormina. Absolutely no empathy .
Here is the car . Pay up or move on. Great intro to Sicily. Came there to SPEND.

Imaginary damage
During our rent we had everything ok, last day we came with car morning (6-7 a.m.) office had open from 8 a.m. So we threw keys to keybox as we agreed with rental car company. We made photos of car, we had attached, but this company took our deposit for damage taken - cylinder lock (drivers door - which you open with remote control) they send us a photo with key in half way in lock … how funny, insurance doesnt cover this defect… chance? So be carefull with this company. After that, comunicate with them is so hard and long. So our rental cost us for 1 week 200 Euro - rent - 100 Euro insurance (didnt work) and damage taken for lock, which we didnt do, car was 10000% ok - another 250 Euro
That mean we cost 550 Euro per week and lot of nerves.

as per our Terms and Conditions signed by you at the time of booking, if damage is found upon return of the vehicle, the amount corresponding to the extent of the damage will be charged. You can check the corresponding amount in our Damage Table in the stipulated rental contract or on our website.
As reported in article 11 "Customer's responsibility in the event of accident, theft and damage and options for reducing liability towards the Lessor" within our terms and conditions, "Where qualification and quantification is not possible through the damage table, the Lessor will charge the amount quoted by one of the partner body shops or based on the damage assessment carried out by a certified expert company, upon communication to the Customer".

Before booking our rental car i did some research and saw quite a few negative reviews about this company. Got me feeling like i should look somewhere else but we still went for this since the price was just too good. Finding the location was a piece of cake, 6 minutes walk from the airpot. Picking up took like 10 minutes max. The car was great, driving lovely and amazing on fuel. Returning the car was even easier, took not even 5 minutes. Amazing experience and it made our trip much more easier. 100% recommend and i have to say, i really dont understand the bad reviews since it was all so easy. I believe people who left these reviews are more clumsy or struggling with technology.

Be carefull with a non EU drivers licens
Be carefull with a non EU drivers licens as they demand an international licence in addion. Other hire in Italy do not demand the internatonal licens. They refuse to hand out the car. They charge 50 EU you for changing the driver because of this problem. In addion be carefull with the insurance in case you have to change the driver.

Good car, very good price
Rented a car at very good price. Chose the offer without damage and theft insurance, fortunately no incidents. Got a hybrid car, low consumption, quite new. Nice and helping staff, allowed me to add another card to the contract, as my credit card was expiring during that month.

Charged me an admin fee of 61 euros for a parking ticket that didn't include ticket price!
They charged me 61 euros for a parking ticket "admin fee" that did NOT include the ticket price, meaning that not only they overcharged for this "service" they also did not pay for the ticket - which was less than their admin fee! - so I had to go out of my way to do it myself.
I wanted to discuss this when I returned the car to them but when we parked in Catania for a short time to go to lunch before going to the airport thieves broke into the car and stole all our stuff, so we had to rush to go to the police (who were so efficient at giving parking ticket but thoroughly useless at helping us with the theft - they didn't want to come to the crime scene!) and then rush to the airport to quickly return the car at breakneck speed so we wouldn't lose the flight.
Then when I came back I tried to email them about it so many times but ALL the email addresses they have on their site all bounce, and their forms lead nowhere. Comes to show how much they love giving customer service.
I was only able to have a short exchange with them when they send me an email to tell me they were going to charge me 61 euros for basically nothing.
I will be fair and say that the lady that attended me when I returned the car in Catania did a good job in being fast so I wouldn't lose the flight and she was trying to be empathetic, but this company as a whole is terrible.

as per our Terms and Conditions that you signed at the time of booking, in art. 7 Further obligations of the customer it is stated that "the Customer has the obligation to make the payment and hold the Lessor harmless from any contravention and any consequent charges to violations of the highway code" that occurred during your rental with one of our vehicles. Following a violation of the highway code, we notify the competent body that the vehicle was in your possession at the time of the violation. You will then be charged an amount of €61 "for the management of administrative procedures for fines/missed tolls/parking", as provided for in the "Special rental conditions".
