Good car with excellent economy.

Being located off airport site was a concern Initially, but the shuttle service is excellent and the cost drop is incredible compared to other companies operating from Puntaraisi. I strongly recommend Viaggiare

It was a great experience. The Terminal is a 7min drive from the airport. The pick up was really quick we didn't have to wait. The rental prozess was also quick. A few extra insurances were offered but we booked them already before.

When we received the car there was scratches, start-stop system didn’t work, there was a noise coming from the windows, apparently they changed them badly. The wheels were very old and damaged, and after 700km one of the wheels crashed and it was impossible to fix it. We had to change it in a nearby place for 40€ and after we returned the car they charged us for 750€!!!!! They promised us that they would return a part of it. Weeks ago I sended all required documents to Palermo brench and customercare mails. No unswer. Maybe I send to wrong mails? I will update my review if we were able to receive the the unswer from Viaggiare.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY. THEIR CAR BROKE DOWN, THEY LEFT US STRANDED AND GAVE US A BOGUS RECOVERY NUMBER, TOLD US TO RETURN TO THE AIRPORT FOR A NEW CAR AND THEN REFUSED TO GIVE US ONE SAYING WE’D “ABANDONED THE VEHICLE”!!! THEY LAUGHED IN OUR FACES AND REFUSED TO ENGAGE WITH US. THEY THEN TOOK £600+ FROM MY ACCOUNT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION. THEY BREACHED THEIR OWN T&Cs BY NOT PROVIDING A REASON FOR THE CHARGE. THEY HAVEN’T RESPONDED TO ME SINCE THE DAY THEIR RUBBISH CAR BROKE DOWN! NO RESPONSE FROM MY LETTER OF COMPLAINT SENT MONTHS AGO, NO RESPONSE FROM “DO YOU ITALY” WHO I BOOKED THROUGH AND ARE EQUALLY AS BAD. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY AND I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM.

Got to the rental site in Palermo - which by the time you've called and waited for a shuttle bus is over 1 hour away from the terminal- an hour late and they had given away my car that was pre-booked and paid for. They said they had no other cars, only after a fight did I get a manual panda. Lucky I know how to drive stick.
8 days after dropping off the car I'm still waiting for the 600 euro deposit to be returned.
DO NOT USE these guys, it's a scam

The strange thing about this company is the sheer contrast in reviews. But I’d avoid them, miss any little detail and they’ll pounce to overcharge you. Additionally the customer service was poor when we got to Palermo airport, they weren’t answering the phone to order the shuttle and its not totally obvious where to wait.

I arrived in Palermo at 7.40pm, I finally got the keys for the car at 11.30pm despite doing the pre check in. Amongst the 5 groups in the queue not one had a smooth transition and all got charged additional fees for small details. I didn’t have a credit card on me for the deposit, so my total increased from €260 to €490 for the week. They’ll tell me I didn’t read the T&Cs, and fair enough, but maybe make it a bit more obvious if 5 groups have similar issues. It’s also an odd reason to DOUBLE the price of my rental, and at nearly midnight, they had me over a barrel. Crooks.

I’m not seeking a resolution from this unethical business, I’m just warning people avoid.

I've rent a Fiat Panda Hybrid in very good condition for 2 people and few luggage is very good and reliable, eco friendly, friendly staff, good experience. it;s a pity that the location is just few km away from the airport but cannot walk because you have to go on the motorway. They have a shuttle at the clients disposal but on the voucher issued by supplier does not appear free shuttle from the airport, so I was in a hurry and I took a taxi which is quite expensive.Staff is very friendly and professional, I have a good experience. Thanks

Very good welcome. I booked by mistake from 10am to 10am two days after, instead of 17pm to 17 pm. They changed it without overprice

We rented an automatic car for a few days at the Palermo Airport. We could not have been happier - the car was very fresh/new and used so little gas thanks to that it was a hybrid, we drove for hours for several days and still only had to put in 26 euros worth of gas when we returned it.

Friendly people in the shop helping out, reasonable prices.

Not really a rental car agency. This place is a sham. Reserved online and when I got to the airport I had to wait an hour for some dumpy van they share with 4 other sham rental places. Then its a 30 minute drive to literally the middle of nowhere ... no where does it tell you this when you are making a reservation. The "building" is a trailer in a dusty field with 2 inept children running the desk ... plus when I gor there they told me I needed a 50€ electronic IDP to rent even though I didnt anywhere else in the country... after waiting 1 hour in a line outside and my wife now having fully filed for divorce the give me the key and tell me "the car is out there" pointing to the sea of dusty cars baking in the sun. so, like an idiot, i wander like Pancho Villa pressing the unlock button looking for a sign of life ... ended up returning the car a day early as the only open at 8am and after this ridiculous experience I was sure I would miss my flight... best part was after returning she goes "please write us a review" .... happy to oblige. I never ever do but as a professional traveler, meaning someone who travels for work, I must warn everyone never, ever rent from this (or the other three sham businesses in this desert parkinglot)

First of all...Make sure you have all of your paperwork proving that you have paid...unlike other companies, a confirmation number ( their confirmation number) is not enough...I spent 2 extra hours there trying to get info to prove that I paid. I felt sorry for the poor man behind the desk...The office was in a tiny aluminum hut filled with mosquitos and smelled like a wet dog. He had so many stressed out people trying to get a car or worried about the shuttle or returning. They seem to have double the steps and double the paperwork than other companies have ( This is in Cinisi where you are dependent on a shuttle from the airport, not like what you think....not the usual shuttle experience.) ....This is the first time in 12 years of extensive European travel that anyone asked me for the American International Driver's license for AAA....good thing I had it....who know what would have happened had I not....but be forewarned. Lastly, returning the car...the address is so vague, my map app showed a completely different place....I was lucky I remembered by sight and was able to find it. I would never use this company again.

Ruined the start and end of an amazing holiday in Sicily.

- The only car rental that isn't actually at the airport!
It's 5-10 minute shuttle bus journey away (picks and drops you off at times that suit them, not you).
- Tried charging us because our flight was delayed.
- Put the wrong time in our drop off box. (99% sure this is an attempt to charge you for being "late" when you return the car).
- Made us buy extra cover at 35euros a day.
- Tried blaming us for scratches we hadn't made.
- Car was supposed to be a Fiat500, we were given a Fiat Panda (crap).

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

Cheap price for booking… the costs to return the car is not worth it. Overpriced costs for not existing damages and long waiting times!
