Appalling Customer Service
My original order, made on 22nd May, in two transactions, was for 8 chaise longues with cushions. The order for the 4 sun loungers was accepted and the money taken from my account.
This order was, for a reason that I never had the courtesy of an adequate explanation, was never processed and, after several emails, I eventually received a refund to my bank account.
The second order was for two sets of two chaise longues with 4 cushions and 2 tables.
This order was properly delivered but one of the chaise longes was severely damaged. With the cooperation of VidaXL, this damaged product was returned, along with the packaging containing a cushion.
The replacement package was received two weeks later but the package containing the cushion was not received even though it appeared on the driver’s manifest.
I tried, in the meantime, to resubmit my order for the 4 chaises longues with cushions but vidaXL site revealed that they longer had any stock of the cushion in the colour I chose.
Given this shortage of stock, the result was that I would no longer have a set of 8 sunbeds and, therefore, I wished to return, for a full refund, the three cushions that arrived, and cancel, for a full refund, the cushion that didn’t show up.
Over 30 emails have now been exchanged with vidaXL, including requests for a direct contact to a Customer Complaints Department which has steadfastly been ignored - and now nearly three months have elapsed....
