I purchased a dining table at the beginning of February, the table top came in 3 parts and was warped so the screws to join it together wouldn't fit, the side of the table was also split so I contacted vidaXL and asked them to arrange pickup and provide a refund as I thought the table was poor quality. At first they agreed then they delayed the pickup and started making excuses about having a problem with the couriers which I knew was not true after speaking to the courier. Now they are not replying to my emails so I am left with having to take legal action to get a refund.

I have not received an email from you about a refund and nothing has been deposited to my account.

Sadly I can’t say anything particularly positive so far. I ordered a bed on the 15. February. It took a while to deliver, and once there I tried to assemble it. However, the screws didn’t fit. Despite several attempts there was nothing that could be done. Hoping for a quick help or replacement, I contacted customer support. To cut a long story short: until now, nearing the end of March, I had no replacement, no refund and no solution. And clearly no bed!

Had Some problems with the ordering. Missed the courier and had to get it delivered to another address. It did arrive but I didn’t receive any messages to track it. Vidaxl was very helpful but DPD not.

Very very bad experience
They clearly denied that they can’t see my order but i can see all the details of my order on website.. nothing received . No refund . Asking me proof proof proof and I provided them all bill all the screenshot of my order payment still they can’t find my order…😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬 in Portugal.

NOTHING labeled on the desk we ordered and has a million pieces to put together. My husband has put together furniture his whole life. One side (C panel) has NO drilled holes. Other holes don't line up. Many edges on the wood are chipped, terrible instructions and bent drawers hardware. He had to take everything apart and is furious. Not sure how we are going to get all these pieces back in the boxes. We have no car and REALLY hope they pick this awful desk back up and return our money immediately. Hoping the customer service is better than this terrible experience. I sent a message through Worten. I will update this review with the outcome. UPDATE: Great customer service. Happy about that.

First - there is no mention as I recall on the website advising that the chair comes all in peices and requires to be built.
Second - the instructions for the assembly are not helpful.
The back of the chair does not stay completely upright. One needs a head pillow or you are looking at the ceiling.
Had I known the chair needed to be assembled I would never have purchased it.

Only sent half the product (1 box of 2) to build a steel cabinet. Customer support is unable to follow a ticket and keeps asking for the same things "complete this form" (already done more than once), 'send photos' (already done). Honestly, i dont know if they are a fraudulent company or just incompetent.

So, I have never used VidaXL before but rest assured I won't be using them again.
My first experience has been so frustrating. I placed order on 10th Oct. and made payment via CGD Bank transfer same evening - I had to put their reference number in Banks 'description' field as there was no other place to put it. After several days I chased via submitting online email form I was told they were 'awaiting payment' & could I provide proof. I sent them photo copies of bank statement showing payment made and reference in description. This was acknowledged on 13/10 and representative 'Anthony' confirmed items would be processed. I have not heard anything so chased again a couple of days later (Their website says products usually arrive within 5 days). I kept getting responses that they were looking into it and then finally on 20/10 I was advised they were 'awaiting payment' and could I send proof. I've responded with same images of bank snapshots I sent a week ago alongside copy of their own message confirming receipt.
Not impressed. I wish I had just bought parts from Leroy Merlin or other reputable business. Am still waiting for items and would cancel but fear that will be an even longer exercise.
VidaXL - Rubbish in my experience.
On the last reply from VidaXL it started with 'Dear Jhoselin Huanca' - well Jhoselin works for VidaXL and was the previous support person requesting my IBAN info!! Looks like the left foot doesn’t know what the right foot is doing.
The person from VidaXL who has replied to this review has not put their name nor contact so hence I can only update via this website. In parallel, I will submit yet another 'support form' which will invariably result in a cut/paste reply from representative that appears to be working to an agenda of prioritising the turning around of replies to customers rather than actually reading and giving any sort of meaningful response. This only exasperates and frustrates me further.
22/10 Despite daily chases and proof payment was made weeks ago the only response I am getting is " sorry for delay its with another department and we will update you ASAP'' useless absolutely useless - no one appears to be taking ownership of issue & chasing it through and I am left as a customer without goods, without any idea of shipping and without funds used to pay for items that are promoted as being delivered in 5 days.

I have today received the below notification from VidalXL 'Alice':
"Unfortunately, the document provided proves that the payment was not successful. The amount will be returned to your account within 10 working days after the payment date.
Your payment was not successful because you entered the wrong amount / the wrong payment reference / the wrong bank details ."
The above is complete nonsense!
It says the payment was 'unsuccessful' however it will be returned within 10 days of payment date - How can it be unsuccessful and yet they will return it? How can they return it within 10 days of payment date when that in itself has expired ? I rechecked the amount required , the account details and the reference number and ALL were spot on. Complete lies and another effort to retain funds illegally.
I now believe VidaXL are a SPAM company and will report to fraud office for investigation. Further I will update this review daily until funds are returned - 190.94 EURO to be exact (the same amount they say I haven't paid and yet also say they will return it!)
Update 26/10. I confirm refund received into bank of 190.94euro. I withdraw claim of being spammed but am left unsure why the order amount was refunded - unless someone did not see that I had indeed put matching reference number within bank description and therefore could not tie up order. I still won’t be using vidXL ever again due to significant time wasted in trying to clarify over past weeks.

Ordered two mirrors in wood. Both very poorly made and badly finished. Customer support was prompt and helpful but these items should never have left the warehouse

I received the incomplete order and for a month we kept talking by email but nothing was solved, I was asked for the same data every time, they said they will send the order again but now they ask for my data as if we had never talked about it situation.
