We began using Vincere in June this year after realizing that our previous CRM was better suited to businesses with 100+ employees—far larger than our needs in year one. We needed a more tailored solution, and Vincere (affectionately known as "Vinny" to our team) delivered an out-of-the-box platform that immediately freed up valuable resources for our business.

From the start, Vincere addressed our integration challenges with seamless add-on extensions, streamlining our operations. For the first time since we started trading, we had a dedicated account manager who provided hands-on support throughout the entire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition.

Beyond onboarding, we’ve been impressed with Vincere’s proactive and customer-focused service. Their team has been readily available to join calls, clarify processes, and resolve any difficulties we encountered. Notably, they went above and beyond to collaborate with one of our other partners to resolve a specific challenge with parsing—an issue that wasn’t their fault but one they helped resolve nonetheless.

The platform itself definitely has some…

The platform itself definitely has some issues and can be inflexible, although it is functional. I wanted to highlight the amazing service we have received from Zac Mackenzie at Vincere, nothing is too much trouble for Zac and he has such a wealth of knowledge, as well as being a kind and enjoyable human, he is a true expert who will not rest until he finds a solution for you.

I recently switched from Invenias to…

I recently switched from Invenias to Vincere and am very happy with decision. I needed a system that could improve our ability to communicate more effectively with contacts, was less clunky to use, more intuitive to the needs of a recruiter, and was backed up with great customer support. It's delivered in all aspects! Communicating with people on the database is really easy now, and the product is very customisable and user friendly, so it can be set up to work for our business really effectively. I think the onboarding could be slightly improved (it felt a little disjointed for us), but the support from Imani (Sales) & James (Customer Success) has more than made up for this. They've been really proactive, helpful and accommodating in their approach, so overall extremely happy with service and product.

Doesnt adapt to how you want to work. You will have to work their way!

I’ve been using Vincere for only a short while, and honestly, I’m extremely frustrated with the experience. The platform is far from user-friendly, and it’s especially difficult for anyone with dyslexia, like me.

I spend several hours running the same search which would have taken me an hour maybe 90 min tops before. I am now running behind competitors due to this. You cannot removed people from your search and rerun to see who is new. So you have 1 search and that's it.

I just think its the Vincere way or the high way. Which in an industry where everyone and every firm works differently is not ideal.

Terrible Support

"I’d like to share my experience with Vincere to date. I originally bought into the software 100% before it was acquired by Access. While the product has all the bells and whistles, I’ve encountered many significant issues with accounts ,Gdpr and support

Support is AI-first, and if the AI doesn’t help, there’s no cover over the weekends. We’ve had numerous issues, but this week, for example, we’ve been waiting over a week for clients email addresses to be deleted in the back end (we don't have access )— also will not confirm this will fix our problem. This delay that’s left us unable to roll out a live list promised to our customers.

Despite many emails asking for confirmation that this will resolve our issue—and even a request for their complaints policy, which was ignored—this is the response we received from support:
"I cannot guarantee the dates, but we'll let John know once done."

As a small agency, these kinds of delays have a serious impact on our business. It often feels like there’s a strong focus on showcasing the product upfront, but when issues arise during usage, we are left in limbo. They are also always trying to sell training or additional support, and I feel that if you decline, you’re forgotten, and they simply hope you—and the problem—go away.

We rely on timely support to keep our commitments, and this experience has been incredibly frustrating

We are sorry to read this. The support team were in direct contact with you and have resolved the issue.

The support team are heavily KPI'd and are currently operating at a 98.8% happiness rating. Whilst we use AI to support, the team are made up of humans and operate 24hrs a day 5 days a week and available for phone calls as needed. We monitor this daily, weekly and monthly to ensure that any tickets or how-to questions are responded to quickly. We understand that we are not perfect and sometimes mistakes can happen, where this happens the management team will look to fix and resolve moving forward. With regards to weekend support, this is not something we offer, at this stage, but will log this and update you if this changes in the future.

As part of our Customer Success Plans there is a lot of free training, CSM led adoption and support as well as workshops that help you resolve issues. We will reach out to provide all this to you.

Vincere & timetemp is awful

Vincere and its app partner timetemp is just awful.

My shift emails come out in backwards dates, im not a yank.

the shift confirmation emails don't have the relevant pay rate on.

each week me or one of my colleagues has a teimsheet that is "stuck in processing" - thankfully none of us have been paid late yet as the wonderful agency we are with get us paid manually and work round the problems cause by vincere but it really is so poor.

Im a healthcare worker, i work for many agencies with many different apps and stuff and this is by far and away the worst one.

Vincere has a major email issue

Vincere has a major email issue. This is the API which connects to Outlook. If you are a 365 user, then when you use bulk emails via the Vincere system to send to candidates, contacts or using the float, it causes a throttling issue. If you had for example a list of 400 that you wanted to email a job too. You would normally send this 100 at a time. However, there is something going wrong and their API linking to outlook is causing emails not to be sent. This means if you are trying to send a list of candidates a job advert, or a list of contacts details of a CV or using there "float" facility to spec a candidate out, you will not be able to send to the complete list. Vincere recommend using SendGrid or Mailchimp. This of course also means you have to learn how to do campaigns and upload information (your database to a third party provider)However, both have monthly additional costs and of course we all know that using these can ensure you end up in a spam folder. The other alternative of course is to use Sourcewhale which will cost you a minimun of £5k for a minimun of 5 users. And you will get locked into a 12 month contract. Apparently my source tells me that Vincere have limited resources to put this massive problem right. You will end up losing a lot of money and time.

Our API is used by all our customers globally and has a high success rate. Where there are issues these are investigated and resolved quickly. With regards to sending vast emails in the 10's of thousands we always suggest using a solution designed specifically for mail blasts.

Very happy for feedback and please rest assured we have enough resources for our development. We released over 200 features in 2024 which is higher than all our competitors put together.

Since deciding on Vincere as the CRM…

Since deciding on Vincere as the CRM for our new business we've been very impressed with it's capabilities. It's very user friendly once you know what you're doing and lots of great features that we haven't experienced with previous systems.

A very special mention must go to Imani McGregor who has been fantastic during our journey with Vincere. Imani has gone over and above and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely knowledgeable about the system and always happy to help, and one of the things that stands out for me is she will always provide a solution or at the very least a 'work around' to any problem we're facing. Vincere are very lucky to have her!

I've been working with Vincere for…

I've been working with Vincere for little bit longer then 1 year. Very glad we've chosen Vincere as our ATS partner. Especially the LinkedIn integration is a great advantage to have both for candidates as contacts. The service is also very good, quick response time, both by email as phone, which I like the most. If you are looking for a new ATS with a lot of functionalities but easy to start with then I highly recommend Vincere!
