Incomplete Listing Resulting in Misleading Fit

This feedback is being provided as requested by Vinted following completion of the transaction.
The jumper was listed as XL, which is factually correct based on the label. However, no measurements were included. Having now received and measured the item, it is approximately 24” in length.
For a Ralph Lauren jumper of this exact type and size, a typical length is around 27". This is not an estimate — it is evidenced by an absolutely identical item listed by seller “sharon197513,” who confirmed a 27" measurement.
A difference of around 3 inches in length is significant and materially affects fit. In practical terms, this item does not fit as a standard XL would be expected to. Why this particular jumper is shorter than otherwise identical examples is open to conjecture, but the effect on fit is clear.
The absence of measurements in the original listing meant the item was not accurately represented in terms of real-world fit. Had this information been provided, I would not have made the purchase.
As a result, I am now left having to resell an item that falls outside normal sizing expectations, and due to the need to describe it accurately, it is likely to be far more difficult to sell.
Vinted’s own guidance recommends including key measurements such as length. In my view, listings should not be allowed to proceed without this basic information being provided, as it would prevent situations like this entirely.
This is not arbitrary feedback; it reflects a clear and evidenced discrepancy that could have been avoided by including basic measurements in the listing.
This should be considered when assessing the overall fairness of the transaction.
Lessons have been learned by both buyer and seller on this occasion.

The platform is fantastic but.....
The platform is fantastic, easy to sell / buy, but the customer service is utterly abysmal. Automated responses for the most part but even when you get a message from a seemingly actual person they are often standard messages which never actually address the specific issue you raised.
I have even appealed some decisions which is a nice feature but ulitimately this was a waste of time as the decision is never reversed even in the face of irrefutable evidence. Stay away from this site unless you are willing to ut up with that.

VERY limiting to pro sellers, they will restrict you and delete your listings for no reason. They require you to be a pro seller and register as a "business" but then when you try to sell as a business and scale, they will restrict you, so what is the point?

Non existant customer service = frustrated customer
I’ve been using Vinted for years but recently their customer service is absolutely appalling. I’ve waited 9 days and still waiting for verification of an item I tried to list that they said was fake. It isn’t. They haven’t even bothered to review the photos I uploaded to prove that. I also asked for customer support as an item I sold was delivered on the 23rd April. Tracking on their site hasn’t updated so buyer can’t accept order even though they have messaged me to say they love the item. I contacted Vinted 3 days ago with all the screenshots they requested and they’ve still not sorted. I contacted them again, still no reply. Absolutely appalling. What was a great platform is worse than eBay. They either need to employ more people to deal with the customer service or outsource it to humans that will actually interact with you.
Order marked delivered but not updating – no item, no payment, ignored by support
I sold an item which, according to the courier and confirmed by support, has already been delivered some time ago. However, the order has not updated in the app, meaning the 2-day completion period has not started and my payment has not been released. As a result, I am now stuck in a completely unacceptable position where I have neither the item nor the funds, despite being told the parcel has been delivered. The buyer has been completely unresponsive throughout, which makes the situation even worse.
I have contacted support multiple times to get clarity and resolve this, but instead of receiving proper assistance, my questions have not been answered. I have been sent generic responses that do not address the issue, and the conversations have repeatedly been closed almost immediately after I reply. This makes it impossible to have the issue properly reviewed or resolved and gives the impression that tickets are being closed without actually being handled. I have also asked for clear instructions on how to raise a formal complaint, but this has not been provided. At this point, this is no longer just about a delayed order — it is about a clear system or tracking issue combined with extremely poor customer service. Being left without both the item and the payment, while being ignored by support, is completely unacceptable. Disgusting behavior from both the buyer AND customer service.
