Borderline Scammy

For the mandatory Buyer Protection fee they charge, the support when things go wrong is pretty much non-existent. I submitted a claim 4 days ago and was told that they will respond in 48 hours or less. I asked for an update and was told that I already raised this issue therefore I need to “Just wait” until I get response. Absolute joke.

I’ve only used Vinted for selling so…

I’ve only used Vinted for selling so far, and my experience has been really positive. Listing items is quick and easy, and the app makes it simple to upload photos and descriptions.
The selling process is very straightforward, and communicating with buyers has been smooth. It’s a great platform for beginners and makes selling clothes feel hassle-free.
Overall, I’d rate my experience 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely continue using it.

PLEASE PLEASE IMPROVE THIS

no place to leave improvements, hope this gets picked up and taken into consideration.
I love vinted but hate the new women's size options, it used to be individual sizes which was perfect but now changed it to 4-6 and 8-10.
There is a big difference between women's sizes, women who are a size 8 do not fit in size 10 clothing. This really needs to be changed back. It is so frustrating trying to find clothes now, clicking into an item tou want to be size 8 and it is a size 10. I honestly don't know who decided this wad a good idea but it really wasn't.

On the other end of that, childrens sizes need to be changed to 4-5 and 5-6 rather than individual sizes. It is very frustrating trying to find clothes for a child who is for example 6-7, you put in size 6, click into the item and read it is size 5-6 and too small.
Childrens sizing is different to adults who have individual sizes.

You have it the wrong way around, please improve this and save everyone a lot of time

Had an issue with a delivery

Had an issue with a delivery, item was damaged in transit but this was not the seller’s fault. T&cs state that Vinted will investigate and contact the courier and refund both seller and buyer if found to be a courier issue. This was not done. I raised ticket in the app as when I selected “I have an issue” it wouldn’t work - I screenshotted this and sent to support, despite the fact I raised an issue the same day my item arrived I have continuously been fobbed off. Sarah did not want to help me. TERRIBLE service.

Everything is great if it goes…

Everything is great if it goes smoothly, but when you have any problems, you can't find anyone to help. It's a platform with terrible customer support. I've had many problems, but the most interesting one was when a product I sold showed as delivered on the app, and the person who bought it confirmed this on the platform, yet Vinted still says it will take time to deliver the product and refuses payment.

The basic concept is very good but…

The basic concept is very good but executed terribly bad, shipping costs outweigh buying cheaper items, when you sell they hang on to your money far too long… I know it’s a business but they make money on your item on postage and interest on your money they hold.

Vinted told me thats if I wanted my…

Vinted told me thats if I wanted my money back for a damaged item I was sent, then I would need to break the law and endanger postal staff and still post a damaged flammable aerosol. When questioned about this they claimed it was their process and could do nothing. Been going around in circles with their so called customer service.

Horrendous experience with customer…

Horrendous experience with customer care after experiencing an issue with a parcel.

The buyer never collected the package and it was sent back to me. However, at some point in the journey, the package was lost. I no longer have the sold item or the money paid for it and remain out of pocket.

Customer care refuses to assist in any way, and are adamant their policies ensure “consistent and reliable” service.

This has been anything but that. This is extremely disappointing for an otherwise great app/service.

I hate the new feature of showing…

I hate the new feature of showing products in the US! It's so misleading - I click on an item listed as £4, only to then be slapped with £8.00 shipping fees upon checkout?! And there's no option to filter it out either. I'm done with Vinted.
