Vinted is really good app for selling and buying

This is the worst possible company I set up to sell one pair of earrings and it said this violated that's policy because it would be money laundering or some such thing complete and utter rubbish I appealed but they still said the same don't even bother trying they just block you for everything. Customer services just a joke probably all just AI I have other people who have said the same.

The system won't allow me to turn off the InPost option as a seller, as there isn't one within a 20+km radius. This has caused loads of cancelled orders and a lot of wasted time for me and my customers. When you cancel a multi-item order, Vinted won't relist all the items when you opt to re-list, which wastes even more time. I have tried contacting customer service to ask them why I can't switch InPost off, but despite the promise to have an agent reply to me within 24 hours, I still haven't heard anything 3 days on.

It seems they're only interested in buyers and sellers who live in densely populated areas. I'm tired of dealing with them but it's the only way I can quickly sell 2nd-hand items with reasonable shipping costs.

I bought a bag on Vinted. It was Authenticated by Vinted however the bag was not authentic. When the bag arrived i was not in town but i did not agree to releasing the money to the seller which is what you have to do once you are satisfied with your purchase. Vinted released the money anyway within days of the bag arriving without me getting the chance to check it. when i checked it and messaged them they said there was nothing they can do as the money had already been paid over to the seller. So i have bought a fake bag for over 1000 euros. Be careful buying from them they are cannot seem to authenticate a bag correctly.

I purchased a product on Vinted for over £1,300 using Buyer Protection. After receiving the item, I discovered it was counterfeit and raised a dispute.

I paid for the purchase partly using Vinted credit and partly through my bank card. While I was able to recover the portion paid through my bank, I have not been refunded the amount paid using my Vinted credit. (+£300)

After my bank raised the dispute with Vinted, my account was blocked. When I attempted to contact Vinted’s customer support, they repeatedly responded with the same request, asking me to return the counterfeit item to the seller, even though the seller’s account had already been blocked. This prevented any meaningful resolution of my case.

Refunded the buyer and let them keep my entire order
Absolutely unacceptable seller protection.
I sold 58 collectible figurines for €80 and clearly disclosed in the listing that approximately 10 were partially broken. After the buyer complained, I provided photos, the listing evidence and a packing video.
Vinted refunded the buyer, gave me nothing and apparently allowed the buyer to keep all 58 figurines. Support then hid behind repetitive scripted responses and told me to negotiate directly with a buyer who had repeatedly insulted me.
I am now left without my payment and without my property. Vinted would not properly explain why a full refund was issued without requiring a tracked return.
This is one of the poorest customer-support experiences I have had. The app may work when nothing goes wrong, but when a serious dispute happens, sellers appear to have almost no meaningful protection.

Bought a pair of Birkinstocks from Vinted site. They claim all products on site have been verified and checked as authentic, genuine products.
I bought a pair of Birkinstocks from the site and now after several months and not much wear they have fallen appart!!
I have family members who have Birkinstocks bought from the Birkinstock site so I know they are genuine and are still in near perfect condition after over 2 years of wear!!
I have reached out to vinted and explained the situation and have challenged their process on the checks they have carried out on the Birkinstocks I bought however after several messages to a bot I was told 3 days ago now a human customer service member will contact me within 48 hours!!
That time has now expired and not one person from their customer service have contacted me so bear this in mind before buying from Vinted!!
Don't believe their claim that all items listed are rigorously checked and certified as genuine as that is a lie!!
Also bear in mind should something go wrong and you challenge them they obviously don't like it and ignore you hoping you will go away!!
I am now contacting my card issuer for a refund and reporting them for selling fake goods on their site to the ombudsman!!
You have been warned, pay the extra and buy from genuine sites as Vinted can not be trusted, their site is clearly littered with fake items and they know it!!

I must report an embarrassing management of the buyer protection policy.
​I purchased a clothing item for €35 described by the seller as in "very good condition", but it arrived in pitiful conditions, full of flaws and stains.
A clear violation of the rules, which forbid listing damaged items as being in "very good condition".
​Trying to resolve this situation cost me a month and two weeks. I submitted two formal complaints providing detailed photographic evidence, but from customer support I only received copy-pasted, canned responses lacking any real analysis of the problem, right up to the final support agent who arbitrarily closed the case, releasing the payment to the dishonest seller.
​Customer service preferred to side with someone who blatantly violated the platform's rules, leaving me €35 short, with an unusable item, and a month and a half of wasted time.
A system that does not protect buyers at all and hides behind bots and automated responses.

I did not receive the purchases, I reported that I don’t know how many times (I have emails and messages with customers care) but they validated the sales. People who work in vinted cover the scammers. Maybe they are part of the scam machine.

Not the best experience as a seller. Too many scammers, I only use it for low-cost items.

The app has been broken for some time. Instead of real support, you get formulas from a bot. There's no real help or thorough investigation of the issue. Thousands of accounts have recently been wrongly blocked due to an algorithm error. If nothing changes, the end of Vinted is near.

While I sent super well some items Vinted told me my Dior hat is fake (and this is not true because I was gifted of it from Dior team when I helped for the Cruise 2021 fashion show in Lecce)

Also I was reported my Loro Piana jumper is ruined but to be honest it is just used so I would have preferred the user to be nicer to me I don’t have problems in sending back the money at all

My experience on Vinted has started a couple of weeks ago but has already become really successful. The website is very clear and it really helps you going through every step of the process (selling/buying). I’d definitely recommend it to everyone!

This is the absolute worst app ever. It lets people buy things and never pick them up, and you can’t even leave a review. I constantly get banned and reported for absolute nonsense, yet they let THIS keep happening.
It’s a disgraceful app with shameful customer service that is even more embarrassing

The customer service is a joke. They stop responding and then say you haven't met arbitrary timeliness and never return your money. A seller sent me a package with garbage not the items i ordered. And I was was told I would would have to pay to return them out my my own money. Why would I spend even more money with an un trustworthy seller. Even worse the seller got my payment. I am furious.

Unfair suspension and poor support
My Vinted account was suspended after I listed an authentic Armani Exchange dress at a low price. I immediately submitted the original purchase invoice proving the item was genuine, but my account has now been blocked for over a week.
I have received no clear update, only generic replies and delays. First I was told the issue would be resolved quickly, then I was asked to wait another 48 hours because of technical problems.
As an honest seller, I find this handling unacceptable. I have fully cooperated and provided all requested evidence, yet my appeal still has not been properly reviewed.
I ask Vinted to escalate my case, reinstate my account, and explain why my evidence has not yet been assessed.

Hey, that’s a great app but it would be more perfect you had “varification service” avaiblable for item that we choose to buy, for example for perfumes, we do really need this service!
