Predatory business practices

I wanted 8 push in feet, 52p each. Minimum order value is £10. Ok, I'll buy 20 push in feet. Postage of a small envelope £5. Sure.

These were meant to fit a 6mm hole but are 8mm in the widest part. Can't squeeze them in. Refund for returns does not include postage (-£5), then I'd bare the cost of the return postage (-£2), and then 30% restocking fee (-£3). It cost me £15, after return I'd get £5 back. Found correct size on ebay, 25 pieces for £4.50 including postage.

Fantastic service, very helpful and professional, Customer Services answered all my questions to enable me to make a decision on what was required.

I payed £12.50 for guaranteed next day delivery expected it to arrive but it didn’t, frustrating me and disappointing my customer. When I spoke to vital parts they said that dhl had let them down and I was only entitled to half my delivery charge back because dhl doesn’t allow full refunds. I advised them to changed their delivery service. I won’t be using vital parts again as there are better suppliers out there. Do not recommend if you need anything in a hurry.

Ordered 100 10mm Penny Washers, now over two months later I have still to receive my order. I have been promised my deliver for over 6 weeks and finally requested a refund. The refund has still yet to arrive dispite been promised this on numerous occasions.
Probably the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
My recommendation, avoid dealing with Vital Parts at all costs.

Paid for faster delivery but has taken a week so far for them to dispatch the order. Customer services says they will respond within a couple of hours - they don’t respond at all. Really poor so far.

Amazing service! Parts turned up super quick from when ordering. I also rang as needed some advice on which parts to order and the advice and support was excellent! Would definitely use again! Thanks

I ordered bolts from Vital Parts and paid extra for first-class shipping, expecting a quick dispatch. However, they delayed my order by two days and sent an email falsely claiming the item was out of stock—despite their website clearly showing "Same Day Dispatch Available" with a tick next to the product. Because of this delay, my work was set back by two days, which was incredibly frustrating. If they had been honest about stock levels, I would have ordered elsewhere. Instead, I was left waiting with no real explanation. If you need parts urgently, don’t trust their stock availability claims.

really poor customer service, i paid for 1st class shipping and after 3 days it still says processing, ive asked to cancel the order but am being ignored, do not buy from vital parts, there are companies that are so much more reliable like accu and orbital fasteners

Not a good experience, paid the £12.50 upgraded next day delivery to ensure next day, DHL tried to deliver at 17:15 past our business hours of 9 to 5, spoke to Vital Parts customer service who were very unhelpful and said it was attempted delivery next day so my problem even though most business's work 9-5 hours - at least have a disclaimer clearly on your next day deliveries showing that next day is 9am to 5:30pm so I can make an informed choice - so abysmal business practices

My order was In stock and to be delivered within 1 to 3 days via royal mail. 1 week later no delivery . And no conformation email of order. Paypal refunded .

Yet another awful online trading company, who are incapable of providing real-time stock levels.
Vital-parts.co.uk promote every item as being "in stock for immediate despatch" but this is a lie.
Uniformed Melissa thinks that providing lead times of 2 – 8 weeks is completely legal and somehow bypasses UK law. An advertised item MUST be held PHYSICALLY in stock. Avoid buying from Vital-parts.co.uk unless of course you like waiting endless weeks for your order. Trading standards notified.

I have ordered 4 times each time the item has been out of stock. The replacement parts took over 2 weeks to arrive due to a back log in shipping items. Very poor service and stock levels stay clear

Purchased rubber adhesive pads for dining table and chairs. Quality product and perfect sizes, so very pleased with my purchase. Excellent seller. Highly recommended.

Despite having a problem with the delivery of my order and feeding this back to their Customer Service department, the owner personally drove my order to my house and delivered it himself, in person. Can't really get a better resolution than that. Thank you Mike. 👍

i bought the parts via amazon. I measured incorrectly. Both online and telephone staff were amazingly helpful even though it was my mistake and I didn't actually buy from them.

Superb customer service and speed of delivery. I ordered some furniture feet and received a phone call from them to check that I had the correct size. It turned out that I hadn’t, so this was corrected prior to despatch. I highly recommend this company.

Due to last minute site attendance required on a Tuesday morning, scope and timings advised on the Friday. I required numerous sizes and quantities of hydraulic plugs and caps. Rather than order online, I spoke with customer service. Very knowledgeable with regards items and alternatives to out of stock items. Promptly followed up with acknowledgement and delivery schedule of items ordered. Items delivered on time as requested and complete with no omissions. Great service and great follow up regards my order.
Will use this company again.

Vital Parts actually gives advice as part of sales and customer service, rather than rudely saying "I don't know -- look at the website", which is what several other companies I contacted did. Guess which company i chose to buy from?
