Tracker XT sole worn out

Tracker XT sole worn through. I have been wearing Vivo barefoot shoes for years, mostly RaII, III & IV. I recently bought a pair of Tracker textile hiking boots and the soles have worn away inside 12 months. This is unacceptable in a boot that cost $400. I will be looking at alternative brands for my next purchase. Very disappointed with the durability of this item.

Woeful customer service. I would avoid this company

I sent a pair of boots back to Vivobarefoot on the 27th May. I sent them via the only way available to me through their returns portal, which was pick up by DHL. Almost two weeks later I still haven’t even heard that they have them and are processing the return. I sent an email on Wednesday 3rd asking for an update and have had no response to that either. Fortunately I bought them on my credit card so I’ll be requesting a payment reversal. But what absolutely awful customer service. They have £160 of my money. That’s not a small amount and I would like it back.

Very poor start

My experience with Vivobarefoot has not started well. I ordered a size 5 in the primus flow. I am always a size 5 in everything and have been for years. The shoes arrived and they were too long. I wasn't sure about getting a 4 as I haven't worn size 4 since I was a child. I thought it best to keep the 5s for the moment but to order a 4 so I could try them both and return the least good. As I had bought on the code welcome 20 I wanted to know if I could still use this code for the second pair. I also hoped to get some guidance on sizing as it seemed odd that the 5s were so big.
There is no email address for customer service.
I tried the contact form but wasn't sure if it had gone through.
I then tried the chatbot. It didn't understand the question even though I put it in a simple way. It said it would connect me to someone so I waited, and waited. Nothing happened.
A couple of hours later I got an email - presumably as a result of the contact form. This said I'd get a response in 4-5 working days!!
I did then later get a response - "20:16:06) Chelsi: Hey Ali
Unfortunately, the promotion has now ended, and we’re unable to honour it retroactively. I’m sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

That said, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out and signing up to the mailing list to keep up to date with any new promotions!"
Good grief!!
By this time I had decided to order the 4s and the code still worked.
They have now come and the 4s are ok. However it costs £3 to return the 5s which seems expensive as most companies accept free returns/
I was especially annoyed as the sizing is clearly 'unusual'.
What's more, the company loses points for not being eco friendly as I received two identical newspapers showing their products with the first delivery.
I hope the shoes are good. So far I am very unimpressed.

I had to return the sandals as they have a ledge which cuts into toes…

I had to return the sandals as they were too narrow even though they were for men, I am female and thought the men's sandals would be wider than those for women. The sandals have a ledge which cuts into my 4th toe and is very uncomfortable. Looking at the shape of the sandal, compared with my very comfortable Josef Seibal sandals (but unfortunately not zero-drop), I can see that on the big toe side, the Vivo sandal is cut much straighter but that on the side where the small toes would sit, the J. S. sandals follow a broader, more gentle curve which matches my toes, but the Vivo sandal is cut much too close and so the ridge/ledge becomes a major problem for me.
The first pair of sandals that I ordered were lost in the delivery service. Vivo responded immediately and gave me a full refund and also a discount against my second order. It is unfortunate that the sandals proved be to so uncomfortable.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service! No refund yet for the sandals I purchased 2 months ago and returned through Happy Returns. Customer service no longer responding to my emails.

Update:
Vivobarefoot reached out via email. I responded to their questions, and have heard nothing! Is there anyone working in their customer service? Doesn’t seem so!

great customer service

The customer service from vivo barefoot is excellent. I ordered shoes in the wrong size and there was no problem exchanging them. When there was a bit of a delay with one product they refunded without hassle. I highly recommend them

vivobarefoot tracker hiking boots are not waterproof

I bought a vivobarefoot tracker hiking boot recently and am really disappointed with it as it is not waterproof as described. Really annoyed with this purchase, I spent £170 and get soaking wet feet every time it rains.

After 10 years

After 10 years, I have to say goodbye to Vivo.

I love the shoes, but the company has become impossible to deal with. They seem unable to deliver a simple order correctly.

I contacted customer support several times because they failed to provide the required Export Accompanying Document (EAD) for my shipment. As a result, my shoes are now stuck in another country waiting for documentation that should have been provided from the start. If the issue is not resolved soon, the shoes will be returned to the sender.

To make matters worse, they keep sending me copies of the invoice—which I already have. An invoice is not an EAD, for goodness' sake!

After a decade as a loyal customer, I expected better.

I place an order with Vivobarefoot on…

I place an order with Vivobarefoot on the 3rd June. I changed my address as part of the ordering process.

I quickly noticed that, although the billing address had changed, the shipping address was still my old address.

I tried contacting Vivo through the online help, which was hopeless - an AI, that doesn't then transfer you to a person.

I tried calling and was on hold for 20 minutes. I then tried WhatsApp, which was the hopeless AI again.

When I eventually transferred via WhatsApp to a person, they said it was too late to change my address - only 1 hour after placing an order!

I told the person to cancel the order, yet today, it still remains open.

Overall a very poor customer experience.

The customer service….

The customer service regarding an issue with my order was outstanding. Yusraf was really helpful and when it was noted that the order would not be delivered a refund was created and I was provided a 30% discount code for the inconvenience. Despite the fact that I’ll have to wait a bit longer I will now receive my Vivos at a better price ;-)

ReVivo Repair Service: Shoes Still Missing Months Later

I am extremely disappointed with the ReVivo repair service.

I sent my Vivobarefoot shoes to ReVivo in March for a resole and repair, paying £80 for the service. I was happy to do so because I support the idea of repairing products rather than replacing them.

Unfortunately, 3 months later, I still have not received my shoes back and have been unable to obtain any meaningful update regarding their whereabouts.

I have contacted ReVivo multiple times by email but have received no response. I have also contacted Vivobarefoot customer support through their chatbot and customer service channels. While the support team has been polite, they have been unable to tell me where my shoes are or provide a clear update on the status of the repair.

At this point, I am £80 out of pocket and my shoes appear to be missing. What has been most disappointing is not only the delay, but the lack of communication and accountability throughout the process.

I chose this service because Vivobarefoot promotes sustainability and extending the life of its products. However, my experience has fallen well short of the standard I expected from a company that places such emphasis on repair and reuse.

I would be grateful if ReVivo or Vivobarefoot could investigate this matter and provide an update. I will gladly update this review if the issue is resolved, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend the ReVivo repair service.

Extremely disappointing

My experience with Vivobarefoot has been extremely disappointing. After experiencing quality issues with their boots, I had to chase the company for months just to receive a response. Since February, I have repeatedly been ignored by customer service, facing long periods of silence whenever I requested a concrete solution.

Eventually, they sent me two pairs of shoes as compensation, but one of them is completely unusable for me due to the size. I have spent months trying to arrange a simple exchange and still have not received an effective response. Beyond the product quality itself, the most concerning issue is the lack of respect shown to customers and the inconsistency between the values the brand promotes and the way it treats people.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing products from Vivobarefoot.
