VW not interested in retaining their customers
I bought an approved used VW E-Golf in July 2022 from a VW dealer with a 12 month warranty. 3 Months after purchase the car had a complete electrical shutdown when I tried to start it in the morning.
I contacted VW and notified them of the error immediately. I was advised to get my insurance company to tow the vehicle to the nearest dealer which I feel is incorrect. VW should be responsible for the collection of the vehicle as it is under warranty and the vehicle is faulty. I live in Ibiza and unfortunately there is only 1 VW dealer here. The customer service received from this dealership was very poor, there was no interest in assisting me and the advice given was that the mechanics would not be able to look at vehicle until February 2023, will not provide a replacement vehicle and will not cover any costs that will be as a result of this faulty vehicle.
I have owned 4 VW/Audi cars in the past 20 years (all in UK) however this experience has really put me off the brand.
