new program for ordering is very poor to navigate

I have been a customer of vw heritage (now Heritage Parts centre) and i have to say that whoever developed the new shop online site has really made this very difficult to navigate. The old programme was easy to use easy to find parts with the diagrams and the classifications for each vehicle were also much easier. A real time waster in having to try and find what I want now. Disappointing!

VW Yeovil - Awful

VW Yeovil. Absolutely awful service; misleading information; got hings terribly wrong and then so arrogant; I'll never touch VW or any part of their group again. I looked seriously at buying a new car; went through everything really thoroughly with them and they confirmed it all - we decided to sleep on it and called to accept in the morning, just hours later. They said they made a mistake and put the price up £2,500. Spoke to me like I was trying it on. Shocking - they don't deserve custom. If the system allowed me to give then no stars i would have - that would be justified.

Scammed into paying for 'Next Day Delivery'

I ordered a lot of parts for my Mk1 Golf at 07:30 on Friday morning (3rd May) and paid the extra £6 for next day delivery as I only had the weekend to get them fitted. At 15:30 the same day, I received a message from DHL advising me that my parcel will be delivered on Tuesday 7th May - 4 days later!
I contacted Heritage parts centre to ask why my goods would not be delivered on Saturday 4th May (as I'd paid extra) only to be told 'Oh, it's next working day - it doesn't include Saturdays or bank holiday Mondays'. I can appreciate no service on a Bank Holiday but EVERYBODY works weekends! They offered no solution or assistance in any way. They just said they would refund my money when the goods were returned.. Wow, thanks...I only have this weekend to get the car back together and now it is far too late in the day to find alternative parts in time for the weekend... Absolutely awful service.

Reply from VW Heritage

Hi Peter, we are truly sorry that you feel we scammed you into paying for Next Day Delivery.
Full details of our Postage and Packaging can be found on our website and does state that even Express Orders are 'next working day.' This is a term widely used in reference to delivery and business services meaning Monday-Friday.
Our apologies that you misunderstood this, and were disappointed when we couldn't deliver your parts on a Saturday for you. It was unfortunate that the Bank Holiday Monday meant your delivery didn't arrive until Tuesday.

Well handled problem

I’ve had a very frustrating experience but Tom Gronau in the Bristol office was simply brilliant. He understood the issue and assisted in finding a resolution with no issue. THAT is Customer Service and that’s what will ensure I go back there in the future. Thank you Tom.

Customer Relations poor, furious.

Took my new VW Passat GTE in to Heritage VW in Westbury, Wiltshire for its first service last Friday (£215 for an oil change!!). Whilst in they said that a VW software recall would be completed. When I tried to access CarNet from my smart phone next day it was just showing ‘system error’, marvellous! Called the Westbury garage on Monday and was asked to bring the car back at 13:00 the next day. Another few hours off work but let’s get it fixed I thought. Arrived at Heritage VW Westbury to be told, quite off handedly, they were to busy to look at my car!!!! What!!!! I won’t be going back, furious at such rubbish customer management.
