Excellent customer service

I had a recent issue with my warranty, and received a genuine phone call from their customer service department. David genuinely wanted to help and resolved the situation promptly, to my satisfaction.
Really good customer service, which is rare these days.

Welcome Call from Mark

Had a welcome call from Mark who explained my warranty and gave me options for extending in future should I wish to. Thought this was a great service. Haven’t had to use them yet but I feel confident they will be able to help should I need them

Genuine welcome

Took out this warranty on a used car as recommended by the dealer. Had the option of choosing between 1,2 or 3 years and thought all good value for money and opted for the 3 years. Had a lovely introductory phone call from Michael welcoming me to Warranty Solutions and explaining how it works. Not had to use it yet but indications look good so far.

I would give zero stars if i could.

I would give zero stars if i could.

My car went in to Porsche for suspension work at a total cost of £1,600: £850 for labour, and £730 for parts. Submitted a claim to WSG and all the would offer back was £120 for labour despite the agreement stating they would cover £60ph, and £230 for parts as they would not cover genuine Porsche parts and expect Porsche UK to use non Porsche parts which any dealer would not do.

I'm at a loss to understand what WSG would expect any dealer be it Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc to use non brand parts. No one would.

Also why they won't cover any of the labour costs apart from around 2 hours has never been explained despite many email enquiries, and only covering 14% of the labour costs is ludicrous.

To say I am unhappy is an understatement.

To folks thinking of taking a warranty out to cover your BMW or Audi or VW or whatever and expect branded parts, forget it, go somewhere else for your warranty especially as your labour costs don't appear to be covered either.

We were sorry to read your review. With all claims, claims are reviewed based on the information presented. As you the owner of your vehicle, who looks and diagnoses the vehicle is of course your choice of which we respect.

The claim engineer having received information, did accept your claim for both front lower suspension arms bushes splitting as listed for cover by the Platinum plan type.

When claims are reviewed WSG Ltd reserve the right to nominate the supplier of the parts. In your case our nominated supplier could support. This means WSG Ltd will authorise at what we would expect to pay. As the chosen main dealer informed they will only fit Porsche parts, then our liability would be to make contribution to main dealer parts. Should you wish the repairs to carried out by a non-Porsche repairer, then of course repairs would be cheaper. With regards to labour, the warranty has contributed towards the repairs at the warranty labour rate and at repairs times as per Autodata and E3. These times supplied by Autodata and E3 obtained from the manufactures. Regrettable we were unable to cover the left hand front and rear level sensors for seizure.

In light of the above we do apologise that we have gladly accepted liability but it did not meet expectations of repair costs by a main dealer.

Great warranty company all round!

Great warranty company all round. When I bought my car I had the option of 1,2 and 3 year extended warranty with plenty of optional extras.

I had a problem with my car which I reported to the WSG which was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by both the garage and WSG.

The process was made easy and stress free by the claim handler Stuart Carter who regularly kept in contact letting me know what stage the claim and the vehicle was at.

Would definitely recommend this warranty company and I will be using them again!
