I loved the quality of the coach and the fare was very reasonable; however the pick up location in New York was not ok...having to stand on the sidewalk with the blazing sun beating down on me, whilst arguing with other passengers about who got there first was a bit much. I understand this is probably how the fare is this reasonable due to low overhead, but be outside in the elements was rough.

I've ridden Megabus, Bolt Bus, and all the rest, and finally decided to stick with Washington Deluxe - convenient pickup/dropoff locations and times, good prices, and generally great buses make it my preferred bus service. I've only experienced one breakdown, which was resolved quickly. Seats are usually comfortable unless they use buses from another service.

I left NYC to DC on a Friday night at 6pm. The ride was timely, despite rush hour traffic, but the bus driver was driving the passenger bus like a sports car. A little scary.

Great service, great employees. I would suggest more drop off points for NYC trip. It's always very difficult to commute to the bus pick up/drop off next to Pig n' Whistle.

Always clean and relatively comfortable experience. The driver on the way to DC was very reckless in driving though.

No wifi was provided on the bus.

Buses are clean, comfortable and drivers are corteous. However, for a 4 hour bus drive it is not really necessary to do a 15 minute stop which by the time everyone is on board and driver does a headcount it turns into a 25 minute delay. I would rather get to my destination as soon as possible. Otherwise service and schedules are great.

It was a relaxing trip toNY. THe driver was courteous and careful driving on the road.

I regularly take the Washington Deluxe bus between NYC and DC. It is clean and they offer great service. All seats have electrical outlets which is very convenient for watching a movie on your laptop. They also have Wifi but I have never needed to use it. There are many similar bus companies but I don't feel the need to try anyone else.

I have traveled with Washington Deluxe multiple times. I had great experiences. Buses leave on time, The drivers are friendly, courteous. Drive safely. Buses are clean, have plugs at every seat which is great so I can recharge my phone while traveling. Price is cost effective....I definitely would recommend to use them..........

Driver was inexplicably wearing sunglasses at night! from N.Y. to D.C. on Monday the 16th of November. The time of departure from N.Y. was 5:30 PM.

This was a horrible experience. The driver braked and accelerated unevenly the whole trip. He launched into turns instead of easing into them. He seemed to be in a hurry -- it is a bus ride, take your time. It may have convinced me not to use this service again. However, the driver on the way back was kind, considerate and drove like he was taking the boss to work in his limo.

I arrived at the Washington, DC Union Station at the set check in time, after rushing through the station, only to wait for the bus to arrive 20 minutes late. Every seat was full, but the boarding process went pretty smoothly. The electricity outlets worked well, but the wireless internet was worthless (as usual). The driver polled all the riders once we were on the bus about whether we wanted to make a rest stop. Everyone wanted to go directly, so we made no stop, which was great. The ride itself was smooth and we arrived in New York in the fastest time I've ever experienced, just about four hours on the dot.

After posting this my previous review, I had a call from the company. They have offered to replace the ticket I could not use with a voucher. I am very pleased that they reached out to me and provided this service. It was totally unexpected and I appreciate the fact they in the end, they have a sense for customer satisfaction. I have a better feeling about this company.

Really expected better service. I understand that we all have a bad day, but I had to spend a very awkward moment as the girl who performed the check in before boarding the bus. I am a tourist like many others who want to spend pleasant moments, and unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to learn English and be able to defend myself. But the bad treatment and predisposition to the girl made my trip was not entirely pleasant. I hope you can take some action so that does not happen again with anyone else and feel like I felt.
