I take the NY-DC route every almost every Thursday. Both the driver and the lady who boards the bus are professional and courteous. And I appreciate the fact that the driver does not stop unless there is an emergency. It is why I take your bus on Thursdays. One recommendation I would make is that if you start a service from Rosslyn or DC to NY on Mondays around 7pm, I would most probably be on that bus too.

This company does not offer refunds of any sort, not even 10%. I missed my bus because of police activity in the subway. You can't just get on the next bus, you can't get a refund of any kind and you can't re-book at a later date. Who does business like that in 2015?

Comfortable bus! Driver avoided routes with traffic

Easy to find the buses, left and arrived in a timely manner, quiet and calm - the one drawback was the wifi did not work but I managed to survive without internet for a few hours.

I simply enjoyed the trip to and from NYC we in fact arrived 30mins before the time indicated. I am planning on using this service again on my next trip to the city.

I have been travelling with Washington Deluxe from NYC to DC for the past few years and have found them to be consistently reliable on departure times with great service. Arrival times have been good for the most part, with the exception of a couple of later times in DC due to traffic. They also follow a strict speed limit by their drivers and each seat has seatbelts and reclines. During my most recent trip, the outbound bus had power outlets on every seat while the return bus only had power outlets every few seats. We were told that it was because the return bus was one of the oldest in their fleet.

Washington Deluxe has been a very reliable ride to and from NYC from Washington, DC. The bus is there when scheduled, departs on time, travels safely and the drivers have all been great.

I have taken many buses between DC and NY and this was perhaps my worst experience. The bus was not all as pictured on the website, but much dirtier and dingier. The seats were far more cramped than those on an airplane. Though the company advertise power outlets, there were none on the bus and the Wifi was so slow as to be generally nonfunctional. The bus was hours late, and although that was not the company's fault for the most part (traffic was bad and it did leave on time), the bus took a bizarre route through rural Maryland to get to D.C.

Hello. It was organized, on time and efficient. It was not comfortable. The leg room, arm space and overall experience felt cramped. I'm 5'10" and it felt much more cramped than an economy seat on a plane. What it did do, was give me an economic alternative after the train sold out. I'd do it again. Only in a pinch.

I had a pretty nice travel with Washington deluxe. The bus is comfortable and clean enough. Just It didn't arrive on time. About 20 minutes late then previous. But I definitely use for next travel to NYC.

The bus was 40 minutes late and no explanation.

I travelled from DC to NYC sat morning and then back again sunday afternoon. The trip up left from pentagon city which was great since I live in VA. Both trips were about the time expected and the ticketing on/off was easy.

Courteous, professional, on-time. Standard sized/space for seating, good driving, no movies, internet did not really work (same as all bus-lines) I have tried, only complaint was that it was MUCH too hot on the bus but that could be a personal opinion

The bus station was rather a mission to figure out at Dupont Square. The bus ride was a nice experience and the driver was friendly and funny. He told everyone to keep their phones on either silent or vibrate and as soon as he completed the announcement his phone rang with a funny ring tone. Lol. Overall the bus ride into NYC was comfortable and seemed like a short journey.

WashingtonDeluxe is always on schedule (with the exception of when they encounter traffic beyond their control). The bus is always clean. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the fact that all outlets do not work as expected all the time and the wi-fi is not consistent or strong enough to stream music.

I thought our driver on the Sunday 6:00 p.m. bus to DC from NYC was excellent. I particularly appreciated his reminder to the men on the bus to be considerate of others, especially women, when they use the bathroom.

My experience has been that if more men are reminded about not spraying their urine everywhere the bathroom remains much more hygenic and of course less smelly. If only most men thought to add that to their pre-ride comments. Thank him for me.
