Why are'nt all companies like this?

Clear informative website, sent old Seiko quartz watch for repair / service at pre-determined price, Watch Hub confirmed receipt & 'phoned, sorted & returned within an excellent time frame. Fantastic service, I would highly recommend!

Excellent service

I am thrilled with the work carried out on my watch. After I enquired about the service I was called by Steve who explained how the service worked. I wanted a new battery and a new leather strap. I was sent photos of strap options. Steve rang me when my watch arrived which was reassuring. He contacted me when the work was done. It was swiftly delivered back. And I am really pleased with the results. It is an expensive watch so I was nervous to start but I can recommend this service.

The service offered by this company is…likely to be as good as you could get!

The service offered by this company is just top notch, I would be surprised if you could find anyone better. I sent them my watch last Saturday it arrived on Monday and I had a call within 20 minutes of its arrival. I agreed the work and price and was told it could be be up to 2 weeks depending on parts required. As it happened parts were in stock and the watch arrived back with with me today, Friday just 6 days, BRILLIANT!!

Tag Heuer Service

Simply dropped in to have my Tag Heuer serviced, valeted and a new battery fitted. The guys were really friendly, knowledgeable and pricing was spot on. An hour later - watch was collected and it looked just like it did the day I took it out of the box! Fully pressure tested, serviced - valeted and polished. Cracking service!

Wow, wow and even more wow!!

You guy's at 'Watch Hub' Peterborough are fantastic.
It was indeed a pleasure to have dealt with you Nathan, exemplary service in every way.The quality of workmanship, attention to detail and commitment to customer care was outstanding. I can highly recommend them for their expertise, efficiency and speed of return, they were fantastic in every detail...
I now plan to send to them another couple of watches that I have for Watch Hub to sort for me, I will definately be back in touch with them soon.

Everything was perfect in my dealings…

Everything was perfect in my dealings with watch hub. My late fathers watch now works (when others suggested there was no hope for it), the team communications were friendly and informative and the price was under the initial estimate. Great Service; thank you

Very happy

I sent my Casio Waveceptor watch to Watch Hub after a local shop botched the job of changing the batteries, leaving the watch non-operational, case loose, screw missing and buttons not functioning. I am very happy with the work Watch Hub did, watch is now working perfectly again, and looking as good as new after a "mini valet". A good job at a reasonable cost.

SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE — COMPLETE FAILURE OF BASIC REPAIR


Absolutely disgraceful experience from start to finish. I brought my watch in for a SIMPLE repair:

A new pin for the strap housing

A new battery

A basic clean

What I received was a total failure of even the most basic workmanship. The housing has been badly fitted — the watch literally falls apart when worn. This is not a minor issue — it renders the watch completely unwearable and risks permanent damage.

On top of that, I was charged for a "cleaning" that was clearly not done properly — the watch was returned looking untouched, filthy, and clearly neglected.

This is not just poor service — it's completely unprofessional, careless, and shows a total lack of pride or skill in their work. To charge for work that was either done incompetently or not done at all is unacceptable.

I have absolutely no confidence in this company’s ability to carry out even the most basic repairs. I strongly warn others: AVOID THIS PLACE. You are far more likely to walk away with a bigger problem than when you arrived.

I had my wife's watch repaired by WatchHub and they repaired it quicker than than the quoted time, at the quoted price and rang me as soon as it was ready. It was the posted back straight away.

Watch Strap Repair

I needed an urgent repair to a ceramic Armani watch strap. I emailed the Peterborough store and got a prompt response from Nathan who said they had probably got the part we needed. I sent the watch on Monday and it was back on Thursday. I must say it was excellent service, brilliant job done!

Absolutely Outstanding Service – Worth Every Penny!

My partner needed his beloved Tag Heuer Monaco serviced, and Watch Hub came highly recommended by a prestigious jeweller – and now we know exactly why! We made the trip to Peterborough and were warmly welcomed by Nathan, whose knowledge and passion for watches was immediately clear. He took the time to walk us through the entire process with care, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. He treated the watch as if it were his own and made us feel completely at ease.
A week or so later, we received a thoughtful call to let us know that the glass would need replacing – something we’d discussed initially – because they felt the seal wouldn’t be perfect otherwise. That level of attention to detail and commitment to perfection really impressed us.
Today we returned to collect the watch and were looked after by Steve, who, like Nathan, is clearly a true watch enthusiast. He was friendly, engaging, and clearly loved chatting all things watches – a real pleasure to deal with!
The result? My partner was absolutely blown away by the quality of the work. Yes, the service comes at a cost – as you'd expect with a vintage timepiece – but we can honestly say it was worth every single penny.

Very disappointed with the expensive and ineffective service

On website there is information, quote: If you leave your watch with us, we will clean it so that it will look like new. Well, my watch is dirty and certainly no one has cleaned it from the outside. Even when changing the strap, no one bothered to clean the strap attachment. Additionally, it is dirty on the bottom underneath. Well, to sum up, very poor service. Will not use them again. Finally, I will add that I used the services at Watch Hub Peterborough.

We were saddened to read your review, and a little surprised to see it.

We are sorry you felt the need to leave a review even after our discussions; we thought we had clarified our points on all your concerns.

You have left out some key pieces of information, we would like to clarify the full story.

You brought in your Casio G shock to us for specific repairs. During the consultation you explained the buttons were not functioning correctly, you needed a strap and custom part fitted (both supplied by you) and that you would like a new battery.

We were happy to offer the following repairs -
• Fit supplied strap - £10
• Fit a new capacitor and reseal with WR testing - £50 – discounted as we were doing other work
• Repair all push buttons £75 (stated on receipt as “clean out pushers”)
• Fit supplied custom part – free

We advised you that we would perform a manual reset and calibration in store allowing all functions to be used as and the RC would have to be set later by yourself as it is not possible to do so in a built-up area. Standard advice on all RC watches.

We advised 4-6 weeks to complete these repairs.
We completed all the work within 3 weeks and called you to collect the watch.

Upon collection you stated the RC was not set, you were again advised this needs to be done in a wide-open area as stated by Casio in the manual.
Ignoring our advice and the manufacturer’s specification, you went outside to a built-up area to try and set the watch which failed. You returned the watch to us stating it was not correct, so it was booked in for a senior technician to assess.

During the next few phone calls, emails and direct conversation, you expressed concerns about our practices and raised different new issues each time we clarified and resolved one. Each concern was addressed as it arose, below is the list.

Setting issue –
• Referred to initial conversation during consultation and advised to follow the instructions to set the correct RC signal while in an open area
• Emailed multiple sets of instructions and had them translated
• We offered to personally take the watch home to set when in a wide-open area

Old battery –
• You stated that you felt we should have given you back your old battery as it may be useful in the future
• We advised that due to WEE regulations we dispose of old batteries in a safe manner and this is standard practice
• We did retrieve the old battery and returned it to you

Cleaning of the watch –
• After collection you later emailed us that you were not happy your watch was dirty, and you have since read on our website we clean watches for free
• You were advised this is not the case and nowhere on the website does it state we clean watches for free
• No member of staff advised you that we would clean the externals of the watch
• You sent us an excerpt from the ‘Watch Servicing’ page of our website where it explains the process a watch goes through during a service repair. We told you that we had not serviced your watch as this is not what you had paid for and we had not performed any of the processes listed on that page

As we have never had this type of confusion previously and having reviewed the website details, we are happy that it is very clear and not misleading in anyway.

In your case we feel we went above and beyond in these areas –

• Discounts and free repairs
• Quicker turnaround than estimated
• Researching and trying to find instructions suitable for your language restrictions
• Offering to personally complete the RC setting when we could get to an open area

A quick look through your other reviews suggests you are rarely impressed with the service you receive. You have been quick to leave us what we feel is a totally unjustified and unfair 1 star review. You sought to find issue where there was none, complaining about something new as we addressed/resolved each concern. Just because you think something, does not make it so.

Brilliant Professional Service

What a great company!

From the moment I had contact with Nathan and Steve until the moment I received my watch back they have been a joy to work with.
They offered a few solutions to mending my clasp on my Omega and quoted around 3 weeks to do the repairs. Sending it off was easy, I opted for a higher insured bracket at the post office, and to my surprise I actually received my watch back in just over a week.
Hopefully I won’t need them again for a while but I couldn’t recommend their customer service enough and the repair looks as though I’ve got a new watch back considering it’s 25 years old!

7878 Citizen diver's watch capacitor replacement , second hand modification and crystal re-alignment

I had been struggling to find anyone who would touch this Citizen 7878 divers watch that I bought new back in 1996 as it was a front loading monocoque design. I contacted Watch Hub and they confirmed they would carry out the work. The watch came back perfect, with a new capacitor, the Crystal re-aligned ( when it went to Citizen for a new crystal years ago they did not set it in straight) and a modification to the second hand was carried out.
Watch Hub's customer service is second to none... I am very impressed, I shall definitely be using them again for my other watches. Thank you again!
