Had my Brietling Transocean repaired and new battery. These guys are first class. Received it back today, all fixed. Resealed and tested. Even polished the watch and painted the faded sweep second hand. Fantastic service. It will take a month or so as they are so busy. I had originally asked Brietling for a quote, they came back with a cost of between £1845 and £2335. Watchkings completed the work with exceptional diligence and care. At a cost of.... £149. Yes you read that correctly £149. Don't bother sending it to Breitling..

One year into a 2 year warranty my watch stopped working correctly and watch kings blamed me without even looking at it. AVOID this company.

Fantastic service. My 25 year old Seiko watch needed repair. Jim at watchkings persevered with the watch despite it needing considerable work way more than he could have anticipated. Jim kept me informed of what he was doing/testing etc. I was beginning to think it was beyond repair but it’s now back on my wrist working fine.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this company! I sent a Seiko Pogue in for a service a few years ago. It was my first vintage Seiko and it was a bit bashed and needed a crystal swap and service. I bought the service via eBay and shipped it off. They sourced a replacement crystal and I sent them additional money for this extra work. I got the watch back and on the first try of the chrono function the watch pusher got stuck in the case. I rang the number on the listing and the seller told me to ship it back to him and he would repair it free of charge. To be honest alarm bells were ringing at the time. It came back a few days later and the top pusher had clearly been changed with one that didn't match the watch. It was functional but I wanted to keep it original. I complained to the seller and was told he had changed it at his expense and didn't see what my problem was. He then went on to say my watch wasn't great anyway. I wore the watch a bit but it didn't keep great time and I didn't have much love for it. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Recently I sent the watch to a recommended repairer by a forum member and he said the watch had not been serviced and there were shards of glass actually in the movement, likely from when the crystal was changed. A total disgrace but I have learnt my lesson, go on a forum and speak to members and get a recommended repairer don't blindly put your faith in cowboys like Watch Kings! The Pogue is back on the wrist in regular rotation and I was able to source a new set of original pushers from eBay.

I sent two watches to them for repair, all good. I have or had a old seiko that belonged to my father that needed a repair so I trusted it with them.
BIG MISTAKE.
So I sent it to them for repair and paid my money.
This was four years ago, I contacted ebay they were les than useful, I send watchkings a message every month reminding them I want my watch, no reply, so short of going down and making a mess which in truth is coming what can I do. Can I get the small claims involved and take a court order out on them. They especially this Jody character have robbed me of something I cherished I have even told them to send it back as it was and they can keep the money. Absolute thieves.and they will be getting more bad press. 5818

Hi I am writing this review as I feel that I have had a good experience dealing with watch kings in Devon.
I found watch kings on eBay, the eBay reviews are great, so I decided to contact Jim, he is the new owner of watch kings. After taking over the business from he’s aging uncle. Jim had my 25 year old omega seamaster for 2 months I was 48th in line for the work bench.
I paid £225 for a service, on the automatic watch that needed some serious TLC, (new bezel insert, clean and re lubricate all the internal parts, polish clean and shorten the strap.
I got the watch back looking new and keeps perfect time.
Thank you Jim I would definitely be using your services again.

I sent my seiko 6106-7107 watch to Jodie at watchkings and I have not heard anything from them for over a year now. He does not answer email or messages.
Beware he will steal your watch.

Never fixed watch. Stopped responding to emails or messages. Blocked my phone number. Kept the money.

My Watch, which was not working, was with Jody for 10 days for repair and service.
Received back, working fine and looking great.

No communication from phone, email or txt.
After reassurance he was returning my watch in a few days, then nothing not answering any form of communication.
He has a very high satisfaction rating on eBay so something is not quite right, the company phone number on eBay does not work.
Beware dealing with Watchkings.

had a bad experience with this person .on ebay. sent my seiko divers for repair. There was no communication i just could not get a response for months ,until i threatened to get police involved. then sent it back with half a second hand .that was ok originally.. i complained but i could not send it back because of this experience. be aware cheap fix. very bad . better to pay more for peace of mind. .this is a genuine review. p martin

Seiko automatic watch repaired and returned..over time watch has been getting faster and faster.when I contacted Jody just said I must of damaged it and tuff..untrue I treat my watchs with utter respect and very disappointed with someone you should be able to trust... DON'T USE THIS PERSON

DO NOT DEAL with WATCHKINGS and Jody King. They have had my Omega Mariner since 8 September 2022 for a service which I have paid for and despite numerous emails and phone calls asking for an update they have not replied. REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am now going to to small claims court.

Jody king has has my omega seamster for well over a year now plus replacement parts sent to him at my cost and a total repair bill of over £250. Despite many calls (all unanswered) many emails (all unanswered) a formal letter before court claim (unanswered) he has not returned my watch, replacement parts either repaired therefore keeping the repair charge or unrepaired and refunding the repair charge! I have now taken him through the small claims court and Jody King has 14 days to resolve this claim. If he does resolve or interact with this action, then the Small claims court will seek recovery of the amount I have claimed which is well over £2500. The small claims court action only cost me £115 and an evenings work using the online platform giving the small claims court the reasons for the claim, a detailed timeline and the evidence that I will be using to support the claim. I imagine that the 14 day window will pass and Jody King of watch kings will neither return my watch repaired or not and the parts that I have supplied him. I will update you in early January 2023 on his response and what other costs are involved but I am prepared to pay what ever it costs for the return of the watch purchased and have cherished over the last 20 years. I also informed eBay.co.Uk of this and they did nothing on my behalf and I see he is still trading under Jody of watch kings and no doubt taking honest peoples money and watches …. Shocking. Anyone who needs advice on how to make a small claims court action against Jody King of watch kings get in touch through this forum. As I said he has 14 days to respond of face a judgement and recovery of the monies claimed. I am also reporting his actions through the policing system so that it’s recorded as a theft which it is ! I will keep you posted ! S

Further to my review written in September - I have now received my watch back from Watchkings - after some delay. Jody apologised for the delay and said that he had been suffering from ill health and other problems.
The watch has been repaired and appears to work well.
I am very happy with this.

I first sent my Seiko Kinetic to Watchkings in early 2021 via Ebay, for a capacitor replacement. This was dealt with promptly, and received a positive review. However after a year the watch failed again. I contacted Watchkings (Jody) who asked me to return it for assessment, which I did in March 2022 (Post Office tracked and signed for). Since then I have heard absolutely nothing. Messages are ignored, and the phone isn't answered. I can now only assume that this company is fraudulent, and am investigating what other action I can take.

I sent this individual my Seiko Pogue for a service over a year ago. And I still haven't got it back..All I get is verbal abuse, avoid this scam artist!!

Professional service on my Breitling Automatic has just been completed and it has never run so well - keeping excellent time now and functions so much more smoothly and quieter. Great value service and well worth the 4-5 week wait.
